He uses his own men to make the windows, doors, etc., while charging you for name-brands. Supervision and organization are lacking. The jobsite looks like a junkyard. His own father asked him what he was thinking of. Drywall is uneven and we are still redoing work that he either failed to complete or completed incorrectly. Hire at your own risk. This was my experience, also. He is a real contractin' cowboy. Father was fantastic from what is said but the son is extremely unreliable. We are still replacing doors he made that warped and the heating/AC needs constant attention to keep running. His father asked him what was wrong when he visited our worksite. This a very "Hire at your own risk".

We got a referral for a local service from our home warranty company and made an appointment for a free estimate. Mike came out, examined our space and showed us samples to choose from. Because we have two cats, we were very concerned about what to choose that they wouldn't scratch or damage. Mike took his time and explained our options. Their pricing was very reasonable and they even took a bit off the price because we ripped out and removed the carpet ourselves. We scheduled the appointment and Ted, who turned out to be Mike's dad, arrived on time on the day we scheduled and got right to work. Another son, Jason, arrived later and helped his father. Originally we were quoted two days to completion, but even with three coats of finish, they were able to complete the job in one day as Ted first indicated they would. It's a beautiful satin finish that we're very happy with. We highly recommend their service and plan to use them again for other rooms.

I truly wish I had nicer things to say. Crest has been a Chicago staple and when I finally was…read moreready to upgrade my lighting again I went back to the place that had been tried and true for me years ago. But it seems that era has ended. I came in a hot mess, I have no design skills. I relied on the sales person to help me and I thought she was amazing. She was kind, patient and seemed to really get me and my condo style - benig "vintage" and wanting to modernize was beyond me. She was super helpful and made me feel like she knew exactly what I needed. That was until I left the showroom. I ordered two ceiling fans from her that day, it wasn't cheap. I also ordered one I'd found on my own online. I hired someone reputable to install them for me and I was all set. But then they left and within days the two I purchased from Crest (different manufacturers) were both on the fritz. Hard to believe for sure, but both manufacturers agreed this was a fluke and they both had inherent issues requiring replacement. And then I had to replace them, which meant I had to pay for the labor again. One of the fixtures is in a room I hadn't needed the fan for in the first year. But then I did, and it didn't work. At that same time I noticed the on/off switch wasn't working properly either. I called the manufacturer and they agreed it was a warranty claim and to call Crest to replace the wall switch. Not something I feel comfortable doing on my own. When I talked to Crest, they said they'd order me a part and well... they did but never called to tell me it had come in. I called on my own three weeks later and they said it was there waiting for me. I verified I could wait for the weekend to get it. Of course they are closed on Sundays so It had to be during the short Saturday hours. I raced to get there in the window only to find a lot of confusion. It wasn't waiting for me at all. The woman who said she'd call me was there and surprised I was asking questions. She said she hadn't heard back from the manufacturer to answer my question about paying for labor, and they all just threw their hands up and said they couldn't help me because the manager wasn't there. Let's just say it's the end of an era and I won't be back for business in the future. Good luck with your purchases after you leave the store.

We were doing a kitchen remodel and during the process wanted to add some built-in cabinetry to make our rather small main living room/kitchen space more functional. We live in the city and anything to increase our storage space, while looking damn good in the process, is a YES PLEASE!!!! I contacted about 4 other contractors to get quotes on our cabinetry and William came back the quickest with his auto-cad renderings and a good quote to boot. We desired a desk space with upper and lower cabinets and 2 areas with floor to ceiling cabinetry with molding on top. In addition, we wanted to paint our kitchen cabinets from a cherry wood to white and preferred the cabinet fronts to be sprayed as opposed to hand painted. We wanted the new cabinetry to match our existing kitchen cabinetry (with the color change to white) seamlessly. William came out and took measurements and helped give me a better understanding of what would work in our space (i've never done this before) and gave very helpful suggestions (i.e. adding molding to the top of our kitchen cabinets that would match what he was doing to our built-ins). We decided to go with him and i haven't regretted our decision in the least. Oh, i forgot to mention that my girlfriend had used him for their built-in entertainment center and we loved the quality and how awesome it made their living room look. They had gotten Will Product's name from their neighbors.... So, it was nice to know that you were getting someone who had been "vetted", so to speak. I can be a bit detail-oriented and OCD about some things, and William was amazing. He responds to emails almost immediately and was quick to address any issues that i had. His guys, "Mr. Tom" and "Mr. Ernesto" (as my toddler called them) were beyond great and super professional. They were at my house for almost a week, my daughter still asks for them! :) The work that these guys do is truly a skill and a craft. The cabinetry and the cabinet painting that they did for us was revolutionary!!!! it transformed our space big time. The white cabinets and the floor to ceiling cabinetry has made our space look brighter and bigger. We can't be happier and truly love love love being in our home now. these guys rock!!!!
