Super cute shop. Great selection of euphorbias and indoor house plants (Hoya, staghorn fern, pothos, fern leaf cactus, ferns, monstera) you get the point. I did find the prices a little high but I'm not familiar with the city and it's market so that could be normal for the area. However, their pot selection was awesome! And reasonable priced. Cute spot!

The customer service is impeccable. As a new plant enthusiast, I had no idea what plants to buy as Christmas presents for my boss and mentors. The quality of service I received during that first visit was so great, I will refer my friends and family here for plants. My second visit was just as great as the first when I had to find another plant. The candles here smell amazing. I can't say enough about this shop.

In last minute need of a couple of bouquets for a and those these lovely folkx were in the middle of preparing bouquets for a wedding, they stopped to put together something nice for me. Sprout home is the perfect spot to get a lil something stunning for a loved one or to fill your own home with flowers and a treasure or 2 thank you Sprout

This place is amazing! Of course we went home with a few plants. Found some plants you can't find everywhere and of course plenty of ones you can. I'll be going back soon because I talked myself out of one and wish I hadn't.

Another plant store. Customer Service was decent. You got some attention but no stalkers. The array of plants was decent. A good size display of indoor plants. The price was competitive. But still another plant store.

They offer an exceptional plant shopping experience. Tristen and Axle were incredibly helpful, and owner Stephen's passion is inspiring. Their expertise, paired with a remarkable selection, creates a plant paradise. Their kindness and knowledge truly sets Sprout Home apart. If you are anywhere around Chicago, I highly recommend them for all your plant need.

This one was called "Champagne Toast" and very fitting for a birthday I was attending.

I always get beautiful arrangements from here. I first learned of this place when my ex used to get me flowers from here. This is my go to place for flowers for any occasions. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The only issue is finding parking if you're picking up. Once you do find parking it's a quick in and out. My puppy also loves the fresh beautiful flowers too.

Alas my quest to find the perfect house plant and live my dream of being a plant dad has been fulfilled. I'm surprised that in my past eight plus years living in Chicago, I had never heard of this place! Sprout Home is the plant mecca, the lost eighth wonder of the world, the 'Hanging Garden of Chicago'. (I'll stop). But in all serious, this place is beautiful, and the staff are so knowledgeable and welcoming. I've been in the market for a plant or two to complete my new place, and was brought here by a fellow plant-loving friend. Immediately upon entering, you feel as though you've entered the jungle, and the aroma of fresh flowers fill the air. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, I was immediately greeted by the nicest worker (didn't catch his name but had a great haircut and glasses). At first we were just browsing, getting feels from plants that spoke to me. When it was time to get serious, we request some assistance and general plant care knowledge. We decided on a beautiful Bird of Paradise plant, with huge green palms that would grow into a large, soon to be staple in my apartment. I also took this very unique cactus, that I just couldn't resist. The entire store is beautifully curated with any type of plant you could imagine. From wispy air plants, to large outdoor trees, to cactus that looked over 100 years old. They have a section of fresh cut flowers to make bouquets, beautiful glass containers to create your own terrarium, and pots of all shapes and sizes for planting. If you're looking for quality plants from experts, look no further. I have not seen another place like this in Chicago, a truly unique, magical place.

bruh the air in this shop is so frickin' C R I S P! I just moved to Chicago and have been looking for plants to populate my home - my choices (before discovering Sprout Home) were limited to Home Depot's Garden Center, so I was SO glad to come to Sprout and find some of the plants I was struggling to find: - A cute, tyrannosauric peperomia - A string of pearls succulent - A beautifully striped calathea (which I did not get but will be returning to purchase once I've replenished my plant budget). Not to mention some very lovely pots (WITH HOLES IN THE BOTTOM, bless). Great selection, fair prices. Yay Sprout!

It's a bit difficult to find free parking around here as it is a busy street right in front, but I was able to find free parking a couple blocks away!:) This is my first time in a plant shop/nursery and the store didn't disappoint! There's such a variety of plants all over the store. From succulents to hanging plants. They also have macrame hangers in case you want to buy them separately for your own hanging plants. They also have stones for purchase, such as quartz and amethyst. The customer service was great, everyone asked if we needed help and it seemed like a great environment to work in. You could tell they really take care of the plants. It's a bit pricier as it is an independent plant store but I would say much of the plants are worth it! Overall, it's definitely a shop to go to if you're in Ukrainian village!

It definitely feels extensive and organized with sections for soil, different climates/plant needs, and grade of plant. The indoor plants I've bought here are mostly doing great if a little neglected from my own care. We ended up planting some of the outdoor plants too early, but the quality was great overall. Given the late last frost date here, I would just wait to buy outdoor plants in the spring. The parking lot is extensive, and they have several community events as well as opportunities to host birthday parties for any age. Staff were really helpful and efficient at the register.

I by not means have a green thumb so I appreciate all of the fun facts and tips and tricks they were posted on now to keep some of the plants alive. When you first walk in, you see all types of soil snd. Will notice different sections of the store. We stumbled upon the furry friends, hamsters and guinea pigs as we were looking at the cacti's, then that led to the bird aviary where folks can donate to interact with the birds. There are so many of them. We then heard a waterfall and walked towards it and got stopped in our tracks by buddy the turtle next to the koi pond. It's literally like Narnia here. We walked through all of the plants and found the party room. So fun to hear that they do events and folks can paint their own pottery before planting in them. While walking around none of the staff really interacted with us so we didn't really know where to really find what we were looking for, but that's okay because the adventure was also really fun. Overall a great experience, highly recommend for anyone looking to build their garden.
