I think everyone has their specific home improvement store preferences. I myself have always been a Home Depot gal. I find that there are many workers around, and available to answer questions, and I never have to wait in line too long, and all these things are true at this Bothell store. Just wanted to express how helpful an associate was when we went to purchase a lawnmower. We had already ordered something on Amazon but then realized it wouldn't be ideal despite the nice bargain price. We went to this Home Depot and the man helping us wasn't pushy at all and still answered all of our questions and offered sound advice. He even matched the Amazon price for the same mower we found in the store which we thought was amazing because we figured they wouldn't match online pricing, just other big home improvement stores. We were even able to take one of the pre-assembled mowers to save us a little grief putting the thing together once home. Great customer service here!! read more

This Home Depot location is definitely not great. My dad and I were looking for an employee to pick-up an online order. I could not get anyone's attention even though there were employees behind the desk not helping customers. I gave up and decided to cancel my order. Later while walking around the store I was again having a hard time finding someone to help us, I peeked my head in the back where an employee was working to ask for help, and my dad and I ended up getting practically yelled at for looking back there and the employee was not willing to help us. Then we were in the garden center and were ready to check out. There was an employee working there that said the gate and checkout for the garden center was just about to open. We were first in line waiting for the checkout to open and we also noticed that the times were posted on the gate as well. We waited for about 25 minutes and no one ever came and the employee that was working out there disappeared. Just moved here from Redmond. Loved that store. read more

If you are a pro, or a capable do-it-yourselfer, Home Depot is a great place to pick up supplies. There are a few key employees who really know their stuff, but the rest range from mildly helpful to totally clueless. If you have Home Depot do a project, you need to be aware that if there are ANY problems, getting them resolved is like pulling teeth! read more

Okay, so we purchased a new range today. The delivery day is 10 days away. However, I fear we made a mistake. They state that they only "take away" the old appliance they do not uninstall it, but they do install and plug in the new one. That might be okay if we were physically able to wrestle this thing out of here. But we are both disabled, having the old one removed with a new purchase sounds perfect (provided we don't have to do the work). What if a 90 year old couple buys a new range? I ordered Laminate on 4th November and they promised the end up installation for 4 December and 4 time I went to store but no specific date they mentioned and the section manager advise me that they have the back order and are not able to fixe a date.this section in Home Depot is the worest section and the section manager a young boys even did not know the meaning of the words that has been inserted in their contract. I'm currently remodeling and needed to buy a toilet, vanity, shower pan, flooring, a partridge in a pear tree, etc... I had trouble getting help with two of these items off of high shelves that needed a ladder. The first time I needed help, I couldn't find an associate anywhere, not even ten aisles in either direction. When I finally found one near the lighting section, he told me I needed to find the associate for the section where I wanted help. I finally found him in an entirely different section! And then I had to wait another ten minutes while he finished restocking plastic tubing. I guess that was more important than helping a customer? However, I finally got the vanity I wanted. Then I needed a very specific shower pan. www.HomeDepot.com said that the Bothell location had two in stock, so after scanning every level of the shelves in the shower and bath aisle for about ten minutes, I spotted one on the very top shelf behind some netting. Again, I had to find the associate of THAT section and ask if he could get it with his ladder/stairs. He came over to the area I was in, convinced that I had overlooked the product I wanted: according to him, it just had to be on a lower shelf, even though I could pinpoint exactly where it was because I had practically memorized the location of every brand and size of shower and bath in the aisle. Seriously, if you happen to need an A2 48" shower pan, check the first shelf and the third shelf half way down the aisle. Sadly, I needed a 36" with a center drain. Then he claimed that A2 was the number of the product, and not the name brand (which is a shortened version of Aquatic, if you want to know). After a bit of grumbling and spending several fruitless minutes looking for the product at his eye-level, he went to get a ladder. Oddly enough, I did find another one, hiding behind a bathroom/shower demo display, dusty and in the dark, and impossible to get out without dragging the bath/shower display out into the middle of the aisle. Ridiculous. If I hadn't been darting in between the displays under the shelves while waiting for the associate, I never would have spotted it. I just happened to look to my right and saw it! Maybe I should buy the guy a beer. read more

He was very knowledgeable and found exactly what I needed. I usually ask a lot of questions and this guy answered all my questions patiently. This is for the Home Depot Flooring department. If you get carpets from them, they're great... as long as you don't need to ever get any of it fixed!!! My list of issues are for both Home Depot and Romanoff Construction (the 3rd party company they use). March 2016 I had pad and carpet installed and now May 2017 I have uneven wearing. Within one year there's one part in particular that is visually different heights. One part is nice and soft to walk on where as right next to it is flat and feels like we're walking on the actual sub flooring and nothing else, a sharp distinct "line" when you look at it closely - not normal wear and tear. I figured "what the heck, I've got a warranty (hence I went through Home Depot) so let's see if this can get replaced".... that was almost 4 months ago. After getting the run around about "we'll have so-and-so give you a call", 2 out of 4 of the flooring associates are able to find my order, the others have no clue where my order is and can't find it on their computer system (I had one of them print off my order form after it took about 15 minutes trying to find it so that I had proof that yes I purchased from their store). From there, they all said they'd have Romanoff contact me within a week to get it fixed. Wait a week and a half, no call, call back in to Home Depot and rinse and repeat. What a headache but hey, maybe it wasn't Home Depot's fault? Who knows though. However, when I had an assistant manager help find my order (he had difficulty finding it too) he also said he'd personally make sure Romanoff called me. And guess what??? Romanoff finally called me!!! Woohoo for good management (seriously though!). This next is for Romanoff's issues... Romanoff sent one of their management out to take a look, he agreed that that was weird "wear" and that after just one year that shouldn't happen. He said he'd seen a number of claims come from around this pad's batch time and so it shouldn't be a problem getting it replaced. Heck, he said if we wanted, we could get the entire house replaced so that all the pad would match. Woot! Things looked promising. His scheduling team got in touch with me for about 3 weeks later to come and "take a sample and replace all at the same time" since he didn't have the tools in his car at that moment to take the sample right then and there. Cool, 3 more weeks, no biggie. Today rolls around for them to come and the guys show up at 8am.... Scheduling had scheduled with me for 2pm because I wanted to make sure my infant and toddler were asleep and out of their hair while here. The crew was scheduled for 8-10am.... scheduler?? Next, the guys come in saying that they have the small bit of pad to replace my one problem spot. They're talking about cutting seams and ripping up in one of the highest traffic places in my house and that there's a missing piece underneath that should have gone all the way down my kitchen/living room line (of course in Spanish so I won't understand... I have a minor in Spanish from college guys, nice one). They pulled up on my kitchen/living room line and tell me that the pad looks just fine, it's my carpet that's the problem??? Seriously, that's why it feels like the pad has shifted and is double layered in one spot and non-existent in another? Yup, now I'm waiting for management to get back to me about what can be done to fix the situation (same management that already came out and said we could get the entire house fixed). Buyer beware! Home Depot is great for quick DIY things but so far not pleased at all with their home services and we will be going with someone else in the future. read more

I was just at Bothell Home Depot this place must not have the brightest management because they have all their social distancing messed up. They closed the lumber entrance ( the most social distance register) the only people I saw social distancing was customers every employee was way to close to each other and customers all throughout the store. Then I went to check out only register open was self checkout 6 people all within 6 feet of each other and employees walking right up to you ( and everyone else) then once you are at risk for 4-10 minutes checking out on your way out they have two farewell people on opposing sides of the exit who are within 3' of you and unavoidable who are basically Covid19 incubators who are breathing on and being breathed on by every single person in the store. This is the most dangerous place outside of the hospital you can go. I would avoid this location at all costs . Many of the other stores are way more conscious of what is going on this store is flat out messing up in every department!!! read more

Home Depot A few months ago we decided to remodel our kitchen. I had heard good things about Home Depot and their commitment to customer service and decided to contact them. I am so glad that I did. From the very first moment, meeting with Anthony Hantz, Kitchen Designer at Home Depot in Bothell, I knew that we were in good hands. He was patient, attentive, considerate and a consummate professional. His knowledge and guidance made this whole process much less stressful as he oversaw this project from start to finish. He ensured coordination of the Home Depot contractors so that the remodel progressed quickly with them arriving on time and working diligently throughout the day. As with all major remodels there were some things that come up unexpectedly, as well as changes I wanted to make as we progressed through the remodel. But this was no problem as Anthony took care of everything to make sure I was completely satisfied. At the conclusion of the remodel I was left with a beautiful kitchen and I can honestly say that Home Depot of Bothell were true to their word of putting customer service first and foremost. Whatever project I have in the future I know that Anthony, of Home Depot of Bothell will be part of it. read more

I am waiting for a delivery of lumber from Home Depot. The delivery was arranged on Monday, two days ago. We have called and talked to people who had no clue what was going on, meanwhile we've been waiting around for this delivery all day now and cannot proceed with our project without materials. Basically all they could say was, " I guess it's on it's way. The truck's not here." Don't they have cell phones or radios or something? Here it is 7:53 PM an we are just not getting a phone call from the driver telling us we're not getting our delivery, so we have to cancel our order. I was at the 18333 120th Ave NE, Bothell, WA location and wanted to take the effort to write in about Fred who works in the tools department. It was towards the end of the day and he went ABOVE and BEYOND helping me. I had a bit of a strange request needing a hole drilled into a plastic container. I went in not expecting help but thought I'd give it a shot. I bought the materials and not only did he take the time to do this, he got the PERFECT size for the hole. It may not have seemed like much to Fred but he just made my whole week by doing that. The hole in the plastic container was to create a nebulizing chamber for my small pet who came down with pneumonia and bronchitis and had to have his medicine in a vapor form. I had no idea how I was going to make this chamber...being I had no tools etc. Fred saved my pet! Thanks Fred. read more

Searched for a 24" drum fan. Found them at Home Depot. Local store had no stock, so I bought the fan online at the store showing stock. Paid online; got reciept. Arrived at store at stated pickup time. No fan. 40 miles and 2 hours of my time with no product. Home Depot site still shows product online. Customer service was of no help. These scummy folks have run the little guys out of business and now run rampant over the consumer for the sake of a dollar. We have screwed ourselves. Stop shopping big box stores. read more

I love coming this Home Depot and I come here at least 3 times a week. Most of the staffs are wonderful and very helpful. This location has 3 memorable employees that go above and beyond! They have Don at the garden center who is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable with any questions regarding plants and landscaping. Exceptional staffs - Jacqueline and Marty both who are flooring specialist there are patient and effective on getting you what you need. Now I had to take away a star because there are two major issues that has been consistent here. (1) in the lumber department, it's hard to find help around 50% of the time. I've had to wait around for help and one time they even forgot that I was waiting! (2) customer service desk professionalism and quality of help is a hit or miss because here you'll find the good and the clueless. Overall, I'm happy to come here and their prices generally are on point and sometimes you can great deals too. read more

We recent order home depot carpet installation services. They use Home Depot Service Provider Romanoff Renovations and then they use contractors. It has been 6 months, they have not yet finish the job - running out of carpet, scheduling issue, bad carpet received to marker issue. After installation seem issue, has not be resolved yet. I wouldn't recommend - look for some option. I should have read reviews first and saved hassles. read more

I have consistently received horrible customer service at this Home Depot, but had to write this review after my service yesterday evening. I was on my way home from enjoying the sun at lake Sammamish and needed to make a quick stop at home depot to pick up a drill bit for a recent project. I also remembered, I had an item to return. I grab the receipt and the item (peep hole door viewier, that apparently has chemicals in it known to cause cancer, no thanks). I wait in a line to return for 20 minutes with only 2 people ahead of me and when I finally get to the counter with my item AND my receipt, I am asked for the original form of payment. I say I don't have it, it's in the car, and ask to put in on the card I brang in with me or for store credit. She says she will do store credit, but she needs a drivers license. Also in the car. She was ready to send my back out to my car to get my flipping drivers license, just to come back and wait in the line for potentially another 20 minutes?? I was shocked. I cannot belive I could not receive store credit, as I was planning on buying an item anyways. Also, on the same receipt it shows i spent roughly $300 in the store on other items, clearly a decent customer to keep, no? I have constantly and consistently received horrible customer service at this location. The only reason I go here is because it's close and familiar. But, that's just not enough to keep me coming back anymore. To be clear, I still have the cancer causing door viewer, that I need to return, ugh. read more

We bought a riding lawn mower there for 1500 dollars .and when it came to help load it .my 63 year old husband and i 58 to load it in our pickup they all scattered like roaches . and ones we did find said they could not help cause they had a bad back. Sat outside 20 min waiting for someone to help load. Then two guys came out to load a few bags of concrete on someone else's truck. And looked over at us and laughing trying to figure out which one was going to help. I hit the ceiling and started yelling at them to get over and help us if we get hurt they would be liable for it.the came over. And reluctantly helped. Will go to lowes next time you get better service. read more

I have shopped at this Home Depot for about 10 years. Their customer service has always been less than stellar. If you do more construction than your average home owner be prepared to constantly find what you need out of stock or not available. I cannot count the number of times I have gone in for a plumbing part, door part or electrical part and they are out of the part I need. It is hard to get help, even though you can often find two or three associates chatting with each other instead of helping people. I still shop here, though, because it is close to my house and I perceive it to be cheaper than Fred Meyers or Lowes... and I guess I am a sucker for punishment. :) read more

We have purchased thousands in appliances from the Bothell Home Depot and usually had a good experience. Just before Thanksgiving our GE Profile Dishwasher broke down. It wasn't draining all the way at the end of the wash cycle. We called the GE tech who checked the drainage line and the dishwasher and told us it was a bad pump and would cost $500.00 to fix. We ordered a replacement GE on line. Home Depot told us there had to be 2 deliveries. One was to drop off the unit. The other one was to install it. An electrical specialist was to do the install. Another guy apparently installed it, (I was gone. Wife was home). When we ran the first cycle the water still wouldn't drain all the way. I went to pull the dishwasher out of the wall, (I've done it a hundred times over the years) and it wouldn't come out. The installer installed it in such a way the back feet were catching on the hardwood floor. Everyone knows you need to have access to both electrical and water. I couldn't pull it out to save my life. I called up Home Depot and after getting the run around from customer service called Jeff the Bothell locations manager on duty. He was very sympathetic and helpful. He said he would call the installer. When he called the installers he found out their contracted installers sub contracted to a 4th party to to our install because they were "really busy". Jeff was as surprised as I was and agreed to refund our money and send an "experienced crew" out to remove it which is what he did. When the "experienced" installers came out they somehow made easy work out of removing the dishwasher. When they saw the wiring wrapped around the water line they looked embarrassed. Anyway, we got a new Bosch dishwasher from another Big Box retailer, (we would have used Home Depot but worried about the installation) and it's working great. Home Depot, (Jeff) really stepped up to the plate but I do question the use of a 4th party to do their installations. By the way, the experienced crew were delightful. Send them next time instead of the high school dropouts that came out to do the original install. read more

Went this weekend to have a key made. It took 20 minutes to find someone to make the key for me. When we did find a women who could help me she did not say a word to us - made the key without asking me if I would like a different style. She handed it to us and then turned around and left my husband and I standing there looking at each other wondering if we had two heads or something. Worst service ever! I use Home Depot all the time for the items that we need. We usually go to the one by our house but thought to go to this one because it was close to my work. I ordered replacement windows from Home Depot in March this year (2014). I ordered replacement Anderson wood sliders and windows to match my existing Anderson french doors. The salesman came to my house and I showed him the existing French doors and he showed me the replacement windows in the Anderson brochure. I then ordered the windows. I was told the lead time for the windows was approximately 8 weeks. Home Depot schedule the install for June 23. I should of paid attention to the windows during the installation process versus at the completion as the windows that were installed were not the ones I had ordered from the brochure, but rather mostly vinyl inside. I contacted home depot who sent out the sales manager and he agreed that I had been sold the wrong windows and offered to replace them with the windows that matched my existing Anderson. The sales manager came out to inspect the windows and I showed him the poor workmanship done by the installers and made it clear that I didn't want the same installers doing the work when the new windows arrived. This would also require an additional waiting period of 8 weeks. The replacement/replacement windows arrived and the project manager called to schedule the install - it would take 2 days and so I took the days off. This morning I received a call from the installer saying they would be late and I asked the installer if he was the one that had done the original work and he said yes he was. I told him that I had asked for a different installer as I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the workmanship. He was nice and gave me the name of the project manager who I called after speaking with the installer. The project manager said that, yes he had noted on my record when he rescheduled the install that I had requested a different installer but that the installation was scheduled out of Atlanta and that they must have missed it as Home Depot is a big company! He also stated that Home Depot had made it right by "stepping up" and ordering the right windows even though they were more expensive that the windows I purchased". This made me pretty mad because I would never have ordered replacement windows that were mostly vinyl!!! I ordered the windows that the brochure showed!!!. Now I've received a call from the sales manager with a new crew to install my windows, this time they'll be out this Saturday and I get to spend Saturday watching their installation and supervising the quality as so far it has been very poor. I would never order windows from Home Depot again or probably any other service. read more

We had our kitchen cabinets refinished through The Home Depot and seriously regret the decision as the cost was significantly above other options while the quality ended up being quite a bit below. Their communication and follow through are basically non existent. Its as if each person will say anything just to get you off the phone happy and then they never deliver. Stay Away! When we purchased this we chose to finance it through the 24month no interest credit card. They told us it might take a few months to show up as 24 month no interest and to just call them if it happened and they'd take care of it. Well, after calling them 5 times we finally just dealt with it ourselves because they never made an attempt to take care of it. The install was sloppy and messy. I had to spend hours scraping glue off of my new cabinets. I expected some dust but this was unacceptable. When I mentioned this to the person who called to ask if we were satisfied she made no comment. We were told the installers would clean up after themselves and leave us with a functional kitchen each night. The install was poor quality. One of the drawer box bottoms was unfinished wood. When I asked them about this they said I should just use a drawer liner. I feel that for the amount we paid they should do their job correctly. One drawer was banged up. 2 cabinet drawers had seams that were coming apart. the seams of the resurfaced material were also crooked and sloppy looking. Communication: I called them about the problems with the install immediately. I spent hours on the phone and then taking and emailing pictures. After requesting this info, no one responded. 2 Weeks later we called again and they sent someone to our house. He supposedly submitted the problems. 6 weeks later, a guy comes to our house with 1 drawer front and no record of the other problems being logged. This form of poor communication has been our experience at every turn with this kitchen. Its as if each person will say anything just to get you off the phone happy and then they never deliver. I went in this Sunday, July 19th, not the slowest day of the week looking for a disposal. Ours had just broken and my father in law was set to install Monday. They did not have the 5/8 hp I was looking for, it was stuck in the back of a truck being unloaded. They offered to put it on hold, but due to my time constraints, it wouldn't work. I have spent 6 months and many hours on the phone and in store with the Bothell Home Depot in my efforts to have a door installed. Since my initial attempts in October, they always had an excuse, either they lost or misplaced my order, someone quit, or was fired. Then their installer quit. they had two different people come out to our house and measure twice. when they finally ordered the door, they did not have any installers available and said it could be weeks. This customer service and overall organization is the worst I have ever seen - I will never return to a Hope Depot store for any reason based on this experience. Oh and another thing: their workers are sexist. I went in to get a hedge trimmer, the guy was like, oh yea, and you can sit back and have a glass of wine while the trimmer is charging...what?! read more

i like home depot but the problem is that everytime I go it takes so long because the store is so massive. Also, it is hard to find someone who is not busy to ask questions. Wanted to say a Big Thank You to Cassie, Laura, and another female associate from the Plumbing Dept, I did not get her name unfortunately.My husband and I were in the store yesterday late afternoon. My purse was misplaced I either set it down, or left it in basket, and wandered away from it. I let an associate know, she let a few other associates know while we back tracked my steps,and informed the customer service desk..All the associates went Above and Beyond to help me locate the purse. After about 30 minutes,I became convinced I would not find it, Laura suggested I look in the ladies restroom.I took her suggestion, although pretty sure I would not find it there, because I had not used the restroom. After about ten seconds in the restroom I heard my phone ringing.My purse was sitting on the floor just outside the mens' restroom. Went through the purse and thankfully for me everything was there except, the amount of money I brought to the store with me.The amount of money that was stolen out of my purse, was taken off my purchase. More items may have dissappeared, I believe,if it had not been being looked for by the caring thoughtful associates that were helping me.You Guys really did Above and Beyond for us yesterday,you all deserve to know how much you are appreciated, So A Very Gigantic Thank You! I only go to this Home Depot because it is close to my house. Some of the staff can be great but I have had three bad experences with the staff. They can be very rude and not willing to help you or point you in the right direction to find something. The last two times I have been trying to get quotes on kitchen cabinets and counter tops. We have worked with two different employees and they both have been rude and act as if we are bothering them. They promised to call us with price quotes and we never did get a phone call from them. Because of the way we have been treated we have gone to a different company to get our kitchen cabinets and counter tops. I would rather pay more than buy from this store. My suggestion to these rude employees is go get a job that you like. read more
