The fans that the store said was not in stock
Chuck C.

Management has a culture of "I don't care". They do not fulfill online orders for store pickup. My third attempt this time for something I knew for sure they had in stock. I placed an order for the Ryobi battery starter pack and the free tool fan. The battery pack had to ship to store but the fan was verified in stock since I was in the store when I placed the order. Hours later they canceled the order for the fan claiming it was out of stock but sticking me with the battery. I went to the store and they had three in stock. I carried one to the customer care center and asked for a manager. They said they were not willing to do anything. Now I have to wait for the battery pack to come in and return it since I got burned for the free add on tool. They refused to allow me to cancel the battery portion

In this Covid era, you have better luck finding Sasquatch making out with a unicorn under a…read morelollipop tree than finding an employee that cares about the customer. Well folks if you want to find one, may I point you to Jarrett Witcher at this Lowe's. I bought a chest freezer online a couple days prior and opted for curbside pickup on a busy Saturday afternoon. Preparing for the customary 15-30 minute wait that seems the norm when you chose to use curbside service, I turned on some tunes and started reading a book. I was pleasant surprised when I saw Jarrett wheeling out my freezer in less than five minutes. Jarrett was pleasant from the moment he greeted me. Jarrett had noticed the cardboard box was damaged and instead of blowing it off, he inspected the freezer and noted a dent. Jarrett was apologetic and gave me a choice between another undamaged unit or the damaged one at a discount. How many people would have just blown off the damaged box and let the customer discover the issue at home when it's no longer that employees problem? We all know the answer... ALOT! Kudos to Jarrett and to Anderson Lowe's.

I was unable to locate the receipt so I called Lowe's for help of course first time I called the Lowe's representative hung up on me. Lowe's at 3515 Clemson Boulevard, Anderson, SC 29621…read more No more in-store credit without a receipt at Lowe's. This review is to inform the public of a change in policy at Lowe's and to praise a store manager who will take the time to understand his customers' needs. I purchased with cash an off-brand kitchen faucet (first mistake) at Lowe's a few days ago and I could not find my receipt. The old kitchen faucet is 1/2 pipe vs the 3/8 compression fittings of the new faucets. "Be forewarned". After sending my wife back to Lowe's to purchase an inline straight shut off valve adaptor (which does not exist) She came home with 1/2 dozen connectors from salespeople who did not know what they were talking about. I had to crawl out from under the sink and go to Lowe's myself. So, I packed up the new off-brand new kitchen faucet and went to Lowe's. This is when I found out that in-store credit was no longer available. What? This makes no sense, it's obviously a Lowe's product but there are no shut off valves to adapt to this issue. I asked to speak to the store manager. Eric, the store manager, was awesome. He quickly resolved my issues with professionalism, empathy, and knowledge. I still don't agree with Lowe's new policy of not offering in-store credit for a Lowe's product because of a lost receipt, Lowe's has the product, and the credit is only good at Lowe's. Where is the loss for Lowe's? Thanks' Eric for taking the time to listen to your customer.

Over the last 25 years I have occasionally shopped at "White-Jones" in the Homeland Park area if…read morenecessary and avoided the place by choice. They never offered help, and if a customer asked one of the 3-4 guys in the hardware section for help, the customer had to first interrupt the story the four were sharing. Too often if the old guys in the hardware side were asked about a topic they would share such bs that it was better not to ask. The cashiers acted like checking out was an inconvenience. Unhelpful and unpleasant. There motto seemed to be "mind-over-matter". The staff did not mind and the customer did not matter. Imagine my surprise this afternoon as I entered the store and a pleasant smiling lady at the Paint desk sincerely welcomed me and asked if I needed help. I was so shocked, I stopped and finally smiled back. Who was she? Did she really work at "Elder's"? In 25 years, that has NEVER happened at White-Jones. When I finally needed help today, I knew to go back toward the welcoming lady and ask a male employee there. No excuses, no attitude, just help. When I went to check out I was not met with a glare that I had interrupted someone's phone chat. Because it was quiet, all three cashiers came to welcome me and make sure I found everything I needed. They were not only pleasant, but they were also sincerely interested in handling any questions I had. Someone in the Elder's management has made some long needed and welcome changes. Thank you. And put the lady at the Paint section with the wonderful welcoming smile in charge of training customer service to the others. And give her a raise. You may have regained a customer.

I've caught 3 instances where they overcharge: 1) jug of 30 Seconds deck cleaner marked $31.99, but rang up $34.99 2) rubber tubing marked $ .59/ft, but they charged $1.69/ft ! (more than double) Don't remember the 3rd case. It's one thing to raise prices, but mis-marked pricing seems deceitful. They need to correct the discrepancies. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Great for getting close to the edges and against the house. Light, maneuverable and it held enough charge to do the whole lawn.
