Started with a short presentation about the facility and alpacas, then on to the visits. We had a blast getting to feed them and petting them occasionally. Apparently they aren't real fond of it, but you can get a head rub in while they eat. They have such great personalities and are fun to be around. We also got to spend some time getting a lesson on the process of spinning alpacas fur from Nancy. Such a great job showing us how it is done. They also have a small gift shop you can visit after for some really cool alpaca products, post cards, and such. This was an unbelievable experience that I would highly recommend. We are already planning to go back with other family members. Please, give this place a visit!!!

It was SO early, and it really was good I had a jacket before we got into the balloon because it was chilly, but it is warm up in the air and in the balloon! Watching the set up and tear down ended up feeling like a part of the experience. The ride itself was amazing. It was unreal and so pretty!!! Our pilot had so much fun knowledge of the area and kept everyone engaged and entertained. At the end, they provided a champagne toast and certificates which was such a nice touch. We were also picked up at our hotel and were the first ones, so we had a great time getting to know Mike (the Wandering Wino) while we made the drive to get the others. Mike really did make this a great experience for all of us, what a host! Our tour was on Thursday, which we learned was significantly less busy than the weekends. We were picked up around 10am and got back to our hotel close to 4pm and it was an absolutely wonderful day! We were a group of 6 and became fast friends. We had something like 6 tastings at each place, and a discount on what you buy. We ended up leaving with a total of 2 bottles of wine and some marinara sauce. Mike was a blast, each winery was amazing, and our lunch was super tasty! They do this tour in different areas of California and I would love to check those out.

But I have to tell you, our tour guide Liz made the day of wine tasting at 3 different wineries fun, exciting and informative. She was high energy from the minute we stepped on the tour van! (Killer playlist!) And her recommendations for the different wines at each winery were spot on! She has connections at all the wineries too, and we even got an upgrade for a tractor tour that was not part of our original tour at one of the wineries. The venue provided numerous opportunities for viewing fireworks provided by the city of Temecula and another hosted by the Pechanga Casino. Seating was provided at different viewpoints both indoor and outside among the vines. The afternoon was consumed by a DJ playing 70s/80s hits as people sang, danced, enjoyed food from local vendors or the Meritage restaurant. Very warm, casual, and friendly environment that provided a wonderful California sunset. Great time for all.

At first, didn't know if Ryan could handle a large group of crazy girls but he shows us such a good time and Ryan was truly a delightful host. We visited Leoness, Wilson Creek and Ponte. At each winery we never went to a public tasting room with large crowds and on a Saturday in Temecula I found that pretty impressive to do. I bought wine at both Leoness and Ponte. It ended up costing us just over $100 bucks each with cake with our own limousine. What was best about this expierence? I just called and everything was scheduled and done.
