She called us and asked questions to fine out from her what kinds of wines she liked so not to waste time at wineries that didn't interest her. Decided to take my girlfriend to the wineries in the afternoon last Saturday. Booked a tour to avoid the traffic and having to park. We went to Danza del Sol first. Good wine and nice tasting room. A little more crowed for my taste (pun intended). Then Dawn, our driver, took us to a place off the beaten path. We finished up at Lorenzi Winery. All I can say is wow! The wine was awesome and the tasting room was not as crowded. We had the opportunity to be able to sit outside and have the server bring our tastings. They have some great award winning wines there. Where should I start? Dawn was absolutely fantastic. I was visiting from Germany with my boyfriend and his parents (who speak zero English) and they had the most wonderful time. Dawn answer every question my boyfriend's father asked about Temecula, it's history, and of course, the wine! She was so patient while we translated back and forth. By the end of it, she and my boyfriend's father were great friends. She took us to a few of her favourite wineries hidden in the valley. As a pri or Temecula resident, I was impressed with all of the new things about wine country she had shared. She made the the whole experience incredibly memorable and we are still talking about it months later! So sorry for the late review, but I definitely had to share! I visit Temecula a LOT, and get to see a lot of wineries, but Dawn made sure that the tour she took us on for a friends bachelorette took us to new (and delicious!) wineries. She also was SO patient with 9 girls singing at the top of their lungs (more and more as the day drunkenness progressed). Me and 5 of my girlfriends planned a one-night stay over in Temecula for wine tasting tours to celebrate my 50th birthday, and we decided to check into various limo and transportation companies so that we were safe about drinking and not driving. I called several as we were on a budget and found one for like $80 per hour to JUST drive you around to whatever wineries you wanted. Then I found Temecula Winery Transportation and Dawn, the owner and operator, called me in response to my online inquiry. Immediately, I could see that she was quite knowledgeable of the wineries in the area and spent time with me on the phone asking what types of wine we liked so that she could make suggestions for the wineries from a pre-selected list best suited for our palet. She was also very knowledgeable about restaurants in town and made some suggestions for breakfast and lunch, which we went with the Cowboy something or another, and it was great! Second, her service and price quoted included her booking and paying for the cost of your tasting reservations and as mentioned, from a list of pre-selected wineries she works closely with. However, be really wanted to go to one particular winery that was not on her list and she was totally flexible about it and accommodated the request. There was a very minimal increase in cost for doing so. We ended up with Lorenzi, Gershon Bachus and Robert Renzoni wineries for tastings . She picked us up on time, actually 15 minutes early in a large shiny black Mercedes Sprint van. She had water available for us as well. She even brought her camera to take pics of us at each winery and will be sending them to me in a day or two so that we could all just naturally enjoy our time. While at Gershon Bachus, we learned that the owner of Gershon Bachus (who is such a funny and cool guy) is extremely selective about groups visiting (he likes to keep things mellow and quiet), and it turns out that Dawn's tranporation company is 1 of only 2 that he lets bring groups to the tasting room. We literally watched him turn away 2 limos of like 18 and 8 people while we were there. So her having this connection for such an awesome winery is pretty valuable and says a lot about her reputation. After 3 wineries, she took us to the restaurant that my group had made dinner reservations at and agreed to pick us up 2-1/2 hours later. Just before pick up time, we decided we wanted a little night life and Dawn was able to accommodate us for an additional 2 or 2-1/2 hours and for a very reasonable cost. She was even watchful for our safety. One of my friends needed to stop at a quick mart and Dawn kept an eye out for her since it was late at night and there was a somewhat of either a shady guy or vagrant at the door of the quick mart. She and I chatted in the parking lot while waiting for my friend to get what it was that she needed and when she had not returned after a few minutes, Dawn went to make sure she was ok. For the services she delivered, the other limo companies could not touch. 9 hours of her services and knowledge of wine and restaurants in the area at our disposal, she booked the tasting reservations at 3 wineries for 6 of us, paid for the tastings, took pics and was just a pleasure to talk to, Her Mercedes van was huge so we had plenty of room (it actually seats I believe 10 passengers) and it was quite comfortable. It was also equipped with an air conditioner that worked so well, we had to have her turn it down a ilttle, It also had a side step rail to make getting in and out of the van easy (except if you're in heels and have had a wee bit too much wine!) ;) Her driving skills made the ride smooth and stress free. She made sure to give us a 10 minute heads up when it was time to leave for our next winery in order to keep us on schedule for our dnner reservations. The tastings alone for 6 people at 3 wineries, 1 or maybe 2 of which were upgrades I believe would cost $390. A limo for 9 hours would have cost $840. That's $1230.00. Dawn came in with a price of roughly a little more than 30% less. I will absolutely call and book my future winery/tasting tours with Temecula Winery Transportation (Dawn) again and again. We were all just so thrilled to have met such a nice person and to have found a reasonably priced, flexible service that provided more than just driving. On time, and no hidden charges. It was more than we expected. Can't wait to get our pics! Thank you Dawn for helping to make my 50th birthday celebration so pleasant, fun and stress free! read more

What a great experience. We called on a Saturday that for unknown and unexpected reasons was available. We booked Temecula Winery Transportation for a girls trip with the family. We had a great over all time. Dawn made it pretty easy and selected the wineries for us. She gave us a choice but I went with her recommendations and they were good. As the afternoon went on the wineries became more lively with music and bands. She would walk us into each winery and they would take care of us giving us a glass and our tastings. Very easy! At each stop we felt we were not rushed and had adaquet time to enjoy. She would come over and say she is here and when we were done to come out. Never did we feel rushed. The only thing I thought might be a down side was she usually is driving two groups around at once so you can not leave personal belongings in the seats. This really wasn't a big deal at all and we were able to keep a cooler in the back without problem. It even worked out better when Dawn went to our second winery and noticed it was getting crowded so she put our cooler on a table to save it for us! The price was fair. All around a great experience.
