So glad we checked this off the bucket list. We had a great experience. Despite the morning being very foggy from having warm weather the day before, the company did a great job of finding clear skies to take off from. Pilot Denni (the owner of the company with almost 40 years of pilot experience) was great and landed in the same place we took off, which is likened to a hole in one in golf. The whole experience was less than 3hrs. The ride itself lasted about an hour. We were transported to and from the launch and landing sites. They took some pictures for us and provided a balloon ride certificate at the end with discounts for local wineries and businesses. Mimosas and a bag of snacks were provided at the end. It was a great experience and would recommend to anyone willing to wake up before sunrise. read more

What a magically dreamy adventure! Can't believe it's taken me (a thrill seeker) so long to go on a hot air balloon, but better late than never! It was actually a lot more calm and peaceful than I thought it would be! Even my friend, who's afraid of heights, did it! Sure, she was pretty scared at first and stayed close to the center of the basket, avoiding to look out and down, but she started feeling more comfortable the longer we were in the sky. We booked on their website and used the promo code "Groupon" for a discounted price of about $180 per person. The meeting point was in the parking lot of a shopping center in Temecula at 5:30am. There, they went over some rules, info about hot air ballooning and there was a photographer/videographer, Wesly Cajuste, selling packages for stills and a video. He has a drone that follows the balloon. My friends and I decided to go for it since it was our first time and it was a special occasion (friend's birthday). We were very happy with the way the video and the photos came out. Then, a couple shuttle vans took us to where they were setting up the hot air balloons, which varies depending on the wind. Before getting in the basket, we got to go in the balloon while they were inflating it. It was chilly in the morning, but it gets pretty warm being under the propane tank, so hats and layers are suggested. We were 4 groups of 4 and were assigned to a huge balloon with 4 separate compartments we were snug in. The knowledgeable and experienced pilot, Brian, was in the middle. I read that the baskets have doors but we had to climb in ours. The ride was about an hour long and we had a spectacular view of Temecula valley. I was a little nervous about the landing, but Brian is clearly a pro and did a magnificent job with a smooth landing on an open field. No mimosas in the air since there are no restrooms, but they busted out the Crooks when we got out! The website said breakfast, but they actually just give out ziplocked bags of snacks. Lol! Totally not necessary. The balloon ride was the ultimate highlight! They also give a certificate, which includes a list of wineries you can get discounts at for having done the hot air experience. read more

What an great experience for my birthday and wedding anniversary event. Hot air balloon ride was one of my bucket list. One off the list. It was pretty windy day but staffs made it go smoothly by measuring everyone's weight and doing name roster. Our hot air balloon pilot was very resourceful and told us things we didn't know about. It was nice view from up in the air to see all the grape vines down below. Other groups of people rode on the same balloon with us so it is pretty tight. We don't drink so we didn't have wine but I did get my birthday cake after the balloon ride during refreshment with small snacks. I would say cake was bit pricy though. This was a great adventure! It's was booked in celebration of my boyfriend's birthday. I thought that the website and email communication provided great details of what to expect for the duration of the adventure. I appreciated how everything was organized and made for a smooth experience. Tips: dress in light clothes for the flight - it gets very hot from the inside. So be sure to follow their instructions before hand. They have options for professional photos while on the ground and by drone during the adventure. We didn't take advantage of this perk because it was quite pricey however, I loved the photos and videos we took from up high with our iPhones. The snacks...I thought that was hilarious. That portion of the booking was advertised differently than what was received. The snacks were a small ziplock bag of beef jerky, trail mix and granola bars with a mimosa. The driver that took us to the spot wasn't remotely professional and actually scared my fiancé that he was going to get sick. He almost backed out. I have been on a couple Temecula balloon rides and all the other companies have more of a fancier experience. You'd get to take pics inside the balloon itself and they felt way more organized than this company. Went on 11/23/25, the weather was perfect. Our pilot was Brent who was very knowledgeable, we were asking him all sorts of questions to learn about hot air balloons. Janet takes photos that are posted to the FB, this is really nice since it's free. For those wanting high quality videos they also have a professional photographer from LA with drone services you can purchase in the morning. We went to various heights, and landed in a vacant lot to the west. It was fun seeing young kids come out and watch as we began to land. We were in a basket of 8, they had 3 baskets the morning we went. Quite a few large groups celebrating birthdays. I would definitely do it again if we are ever in the area. read more

Fantastic guest service, went above & beyond (literally), giving great information & a really smooth, relaxing & beautiful experience! Everyone was so professional, kind & courteous. Pilot Denny took great care of us, very funny too, with 25 yrs xp & learned so much from him - also navigated a pinpoint landing that was incredible to watch. One other balloon was with us, and rarely saw them but added to the fun. Communication between personnel was awesome, and they made everything look easy. Weather looked foggy and cold online, & was, but they relocated to a clear area for us, avoided fog in order to give us spectacular views. Did not need our coat either. Going up in a hot air balloon has always been on my list. I planned a mini getaway for myself and had booked a 6am flight in a shared basket. Last minute, a girlfriend decided to do it with me! It got canceled due to weather conditions and they don't want to refund my money. I booked this for my wife's birthday. We woke up early to be there before sunrise at 6am. We didn't leave the parking lot until about 630am because they were looking for a launch site. We drove out 15-20 minutes then waited to see if the marine layer would clear up. It did not and the ride was canceled. What a bummer. So we drive back to the meeting spot. By this time it was already around 730am. The woman that was coordinating everything gave us two options. Either we could get a refund or reschedule. But we had to call the main office after 10am. I called and tried to reschedule but they did not have anything available for the time I was going to be in town. So I asked for a refund. They said I could not get a refund only a reschedule. That sucks because I already spend money on an Airbnb. Now I have to figure out when I could get another free weekend that would line up their availability. (Who knows when that would be). My boyfriend surprised me with a hot air balloon for my birthday.. This was an extraordinary adventure, and I'm so grateful that I got a chance to experience it. I'll break it down, so any yelpers considering visiting will know what to expect. Definitely worth what you pay. 1. Meet up at the designated parking lot around 5am so be sure to leave early. If you see a Starbucks in the parking lot you're in the right spot.(Yes kids are welcome) 2. Once the bus arrives you'll be checked in they will take your weight so they will, know the over weight each ballon will be carrying that way they can arrange each group accordingly. 3. They are very patient they do give the late stragglers time to arrive. 4 . You drive about 10 minutes out to the location where the balloons are. 5. You get a chance to see them inflate the balloons which is really cool. 6. Everyone will be arranged by tickets purchased. They do have the option for semi private, which I believe was an extra $50 or 60 don't quote me!!! Your tour guide will let you know. 7. You'll hop on the ballon and the pilot will go over the safety rules and off into the sunset you go! 8. Wine, wine and more wine!!!
