So glad we checked this off the bucket list. We had a great experience. Despite the morning being very foggy from having warm weather the day before, the company did a great job of finding clear skies to take off from. Pilot Denni (the owner of the company with almost 40 years of pilot experience) was great and landed in the same place we took off, which is likened to a hole in one in golf. The whole experience was less than 3hrs. The ride itself lasted about an hour. We were transported to and from the launch and landing sites. They took some pictures for us and provided a balloon ride certificate at the end with discounts for local wineries and businesses. Mimosas and a bag of snacks were provided at the end. What a magically dreamy adventure! Can't believe it's taken me (a thrill seeker) so long to go on a hot air balloon, but better late than never! It was actually a lot more calm and peaceful than I thought it would be! Even my friend, who's afraid of heights, did it! Sure, she was pretty scared at first and stayed close to the center of the basket, avoiding to look out and down, but she started feeling more comfortable the longer we were in the sky. We booked on their website and used the promo code "Groupon" for a discounted price of about $180 per person. The meeting point was in the parking lot of a shopping center in Temecula at 5:30am. There, they went over some rules, info about hot air ballooning and there was a photographer/videographer, Wesly Cajuste, selling packages for stills and a video. He has a drone that follows the balloon. My friends and I decided to go for it since it was our first time and it was a special occasion (friend's birthday). We were very happy with the way the video and the photos came out. Then, a couple shuttle vans took us to where they were setting up the hot air balloons, which varies depending on the wind. Before getting in the basket, we got to go in the balloon while they were inflating it. It was chilly in the morning, but it gets pretty warm being under the propane tank, so hats and layers are suggested. We were 4 groups of 4 and were assigned to a huge balloon with 4 separate compartments we were snug in. The knowledgeable and experienced pilot, Brian, was in the middle. I read that the baskets have doors but we had to climb in ours. The ride was about an hour long and we had a spectacular view of Temecula valley. I was a little nervous about the landing, but Brian is clearly a pro and did a magnificent job with a smooth landing on an open field. No mimosas in the air since there are no restrooms, but they busted out the Crooks when we got out! The website said breakfast, but they actually just give out ziplocked bags of snacks. Lol! Totally not necessary. The balloon ride was the ultimate highlight! They also give a certificate, which includes a list of wineries you can get discounts at for having done the hot air experience. read more

It was pretty windy day but staffs made it go smoothly by measuring everyone's weight and doing name roster. Our hot air balloon pilot was very resourceful and told us things we didn't know about. It was nice view from up in the air to see all the grape vines down below. Other groups of people rode on the same balloon with us so it is pretty tight. We don't drink so we didn't have wine but I did get my birthday cake after the balloon ride during refreshment with small snacks. I would say cake was bit pricy though. So be sure to follow their instructions before hand. They have options for professional photos while on the ground and by drone during the adventure. We didn't take advantage of this perk because it was quite pricey however, I loved the photos and videos we took from up high with our iPhones. The snacks...I thought that was hilarious. That portion of the booking was advertised differently than what was received. The snacks were a small ziplock bag of beef jerky, trail mix and granola bars with a mimosa. The driver that took us to the spot wasn't remotely professional and actually scared my fiancé that he was going to get sick. He almost backed out. Went on 11/23/25, the weather was perfect. Our pilot was Brent who was very knowledgeable, we were asking him all sorts of questions to learn about hot air balloons. Janet takes photos that are posted to the FB, this is really nice since it's free. For those wanting high quality videos they also have a professional photographer from LA with drone services you can purchase in the morning. We went to various heights, and landed in a vacant lot to the west. It was fun seeing young kids come out and watch as we began to land. This is one of the reasons why I love Temecula and it's beauty so much! This was an incredible experience you have to take too. Showed up bright and early by 6 am with my daughter with no issues of finding the pick up location. Was greeted right away by the crew and got all checked in with smiles. There is a Starbucks open so everyone made sure to take their bathroom stop before getting on the van to route us to the tour. Well off we go short 10 minutes ride to our balloons and how cool it was to see them getting all set up and ready for us. We took a Semi Private ride that consisted of 8 passengers and the phenomenal pilot Denni. Denni was an amazing pilot! He was professional, charming and educated us on all the hot air balloon 101 info. His smile lit up the balloon alone with his passion. He went out of his way to make sure every guest had a great experience. He also was amazing with my daughter she loved every minute so 5 star experience from her too! Now up up up we go! Got in the sky with ease and I can't tell you how beautiful the view was from up above. Going up in a hot air balloon has always been on my list. I planned a mini getaway for myself and had booked a 6am flight in a shared basket. Last minute, a girlfriend decided to do it with me! Watching the balloon get inflated was fascinating, as was learning 20 people would be going up in one balloon! Who knew?! There was a couple who got engaged in the balloon next to us. The flight was smooth and calming and just a wonderful way to start the day. I felt safe and not scared. If you're afraid of heights, it might not be for you. This is a family business, mom was flying the balloon of the engaged couple, and her son was flying ours. It's an hour almost exact from take off to touch down. One the coolest things I have ever done. Post flight, we were given a little history of the hot air balloon, some snacks, as well as a champagne toast. It got canceled due to weather conditions and they don't want to refund my money. I booked this for my wife's birthday. We woke up early to be there before sunrise at 6am. We didn't leave the parking lot until about 630am because they were looking for a launch site. We drove out 15-20 minutes then waited to see if the marine layer would clear up. It did not and the ride was canceled. What a bummer. So we drive back to the meeting spot. By this time it was already around 730am. The woman that was coordinating everything gave us two options. Either we could get a refund or reschedule. But we had to call the main office after 10am. I called and tried to reschedule but they did not have anything available for the time I was going to be in town. So I asked for a refund. They said I could not get a refund only a reschedule. That sucks because I already spend money on an Airbnb. Now I have to figure out when I could get another free weekend that would line up their availability. (Who knows when that would be). Unfortunate outcome even worse response from them. read more
