This was a sixty year old bucket list adventure. I went with a 8-year-old, 13 year old ,16 year old and a 37 year old, we had so much fun. Chris and another young fellow were our guides they were so much fun and they kept us all safe and they knew how to encourage others along who do who were a little hesitant. What a great experience I want to go back I want to go back for the 2-hour one now. Oh a quick word to the wise at the end of the slide or the sliding tunnel I sat in the mud puddle and I had a muddy behind all the way home. So I suggest you jump up before you sit in the med puddle. It was a spontaneous decision, and I'm glad I went through with it. Well worth the money, the time and the drive. Great location and while we are on the tour we got a little bit of its history and backstory which was very interesting to hear about. Jason our zipline tour guide along with the other tour guid were great company, very polite they answered all of our questions and concerns and they were very knowledgeable when explaining the safety of everything. We had an AMAZING!!!!! Time. This was a surprise for my daughter's 18th birthday and our guides Miguel and Tony made this such an entertaining, fun and physical excursion. We all had a blast. Our guides were very knowledgeable and patient with the whole group. They gave us facts about the area, pointed out points of interests and the differences between the 3 course options. We did the original course that included a 10 min hike and 6 ziplines. We will definitely do the next course when we visit again. Amazing Experience! Zack and Des are the absolute best! Their energy, banter, training, and knowledge were such a breath of fresh air. We booked the Monster Tour and got lucky--it turned into a private tour since we were the only ones booked at 9 AM on a Monday. The hike is definitely uphill and a bit challenging, but totally doable. It's not "easy," but it's not back-breaking either--ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. If you're even moderately active, you'll be fine. They take breaks when needed and provide water too. I was pretty nervous at first, and both Zack and Des were incredibly patient and understanding. They were encouraging without being pushy, and when I finally got the courage to go for it, they were so supportive and respectful of my fears. By the end of the tour, my nerves were gone and I wasn't stalling anymore. If you're looking for a fun, active tour full of dad jokes, puns, and great conversation--these are your guys. Blake and Chris were our tour guides and they seriously made the whole adventure. The Monster Course was amazing! My friend and I had so much fun. The hike to the highest zip line is described as "strenuous" (by Skull Canyon), but totally doable as there are water breaks. The water is provided by Skull Canyon. The zip lining is high, fast and thrilling. The staff are friendly and they take good care of customers. Our two zip line guides were Kyle and Cruz. They were great. The only thing I don't like about Skull Canyon are the porta potties. read more

Very friendly staff and guides. You get a practice run with instructions before heading off. The first line has a very steep and rocky ascent which should be highlighted a little more. We were there on a very warm day and there were water stations available before each line. Wish the runs were longer. I've zipped lined before in Canada at a ski slope and in the jungle of the Amazon so I'd say this one was very very beginning level. Still fun as a family adventure but even my grand daughters had zipped lined before and wanted longer runs. They do have more advanced tours but we didn't book those. The scenery is pretty "brown" but the guides tried to make it fun with theme lines like the Hawaiian Island Line. Great place to gather and enjoy some fun. read more

Such a unique and fun experience. I would say I'm someone with a reasonable fear of heights and was able to do this all the way up to level 2 with no problems. Check-in was pretty simple, you get weighed to make sure you're under 250 lbs and they make sure you signed the waiver online before. After we were put into a short line to get our gear and explained how to strap in ourselves. There no way to get on the obstacle course without being zipped in so you're very safe, I even intentionally fell and can guarantee that I felt safe with the lines holding me up. They sell the level 1 (lower section) or all 3 sections and I would recommend only level 1 if you don't care about going higher (honestly a lot of the courses were the same so you won't be missing much going higher). Level 2 does have a semi free jump which is really cool so definitely check that out if you're get the higher level pass. Overall it's not something I personally would do often but this is definitely a checkout at least once especially with a group of friends. Parking - Free parking but it's on a dirt lot. Lots of rocks so recommend driving slow so it doesn't damage your tires. read more

The staff totally make this place even better. Everyone was kind and patient. They had enough staff members everyone could answer questions for the many people at the course. Gloves, harness, and helmet are provided. Early morning reservations (8:30-10:30-am) are a good idea to beat the heat. The course has 3 levels. You have to completely exit level 1 to enter levels 2/3. Levels 2 and 3 are connected so you can easily stay on the lower level of the two or venture higher. I'd recommend a small child be led by an adult, it's a lot of balancing and holding your own weight. Even employees can't complete obstacles with no hands. I asked. They said they normally hold on to their own rope or the cables at the obstacle. Lots of arm strength . Leap of faith is fun and scary the first time but then it's an enjoyable jump the following times. Everything is 50 feet or lower so the height is about the same as most rock climbing gyms. If you have done indoor climbing, you can do this course height. Even though the climbing doesn't help . This obstacle course is more about having fun wailing around in the sky and walking across wooden planks or fun little tricky paths with a cable near it. read more

This was my friend and I's first time zip lining ever and this was such a fun and worth while experience! We did the Original course run and it was so much fun for us beginners. Such a great group activity to do with friends. My friend and I got lucky and had a tour reservation time all to ourselves. For the original course, we had a tram take us up and then we did a short 10 minute hike - very easy, slight incline. We were able to go at our pace and take breaks whenever. The scenery was nice, just zipping through the trees, it was a great time. Shout out to our guides, Tito and Chris, for such a great and funny experience! What a fun time! Came here for my wife's birthday on April 13th. She had been wanting to check this place out for the longest and we finally made it happen. Invited two friends as well who also had a blast! We booked the zip line (speed course) and level one sky gym for 9am. Everything went so smoothly, no issues whatsoever. Not a lot of people at that time either which we enjoyed. After gearing up and doing a baby zip line, we hopped on a truck and drove up to the jump off point. It was my first time zip lining so I was pretty nervous! I kept thinking I was going to get that nasty drop feeling in my stomach. Thankfully that feeling never came! It was so much fun!! We all loved it! And just like that the zip line ended and we were off to the sky gym. We felt like kids again. The sky gym had us laughing and scared and excited, all at once - as we struggled to get across the courses. Each one had its own obstacle and had our legs and arms shaking. We definitely got a good workout! Overall Skull Canyon was an amazing experience and we cannot wait to go back! Yes it's expensive, but it's worth it! Super fun day! We did the speed run with sky gym! The staff was friendly and helpful! They explained everything very well. The speed run was fast and fun. Great ride. The sky gym was fun as well and definitely a little challenging on some. Getting the clips to move correctly was the challenging part. Time goes by fast! Definitely a workout. Not too strenuous.
