My daughter and I had such a wonderful time at Skydive Perris! Our instructors, Christian and David, were friendly, welcoming, and encouraging. I did a tandem skydive last April, and ever since then I haven't been able to stop wondering what it would feel like to fly on my own. Flying in the wind tunnel was definitely harder than I expected, but our instructors made us feel safe and confident every step of the way. Thanks to their guidance, we truly enjoyed the experience. I booked two one-minute flights each for my girlfriend and I. Like others, I thought this might be too short--but it definitely feels like longer when you're actually flying. It was fun and a really novel experience. Check-in was fast at the front desk, and I want to mention that when I called in earlier to make an appointment (I had a Groupon deal, so I had to call), the process was very easy. We had to wait a little past the actual appointment time before we were called up, but we were accompanied by (I assume) an owner or employee's dog. Very cute and friendly. At the actual flight chamber, there was a bit more of a wait as the previous group was finishing up. Keep this in mind, as you'll probably need an extra bit of time here. read more

My hubby surprised me with a date here for indoor sky diving, so much fun! It was only two of us but we were put in a group with another party. The instructor was very personable, attentive, and very purposeful in ensuring everyone in our group was comfortable with how high we wanted to go and ensuring we were okay throughout the experience. We got two rounds of two minute flights each; at first before we did the experience, I thought it wasn't that long but it feels like a good amount of time to be in there. Definitely could've done one more round but two was still good. It was harder than it looks to try to stay stable when indoor sky diving. I'd come back again! read more

My family went to try out indoor skydiving prior to the actual skydive here in Perris near riverside. Our instructor was Rio. There was another instructor named Daniel who regulated the air pressure inside and was teaching children how to skydive in the funnel. First, our instructor Rio was a funny guy. He was sarcastic with questions and explained them clearly in the briefing, however; my group including another family witnessed him smash his shoulder inside the funnel do acrobatic tricks including somersaults and loops in the funnel chamber. The other instructor told us rules with our cameras, equipment, safety hazards and helmets/earplugs/goggles which was important for the actual skydive. This training simulation was defintely easier on first time tandem skydivers because it prepares you for the actual dive. I could be in that simulator all day and would never get anxious before the actual skydive. Although expensive, it relieves the stress you would have prior to your freefall. The experience here for the simulation is actually similar to the real freefall out of the plane 12,500+ feet. The only difference was that the air pressure was really warm as opposed to the cold air from altitude. The other difference was the oxygen running through the air. The oxygen is slightly less intense and breathing is easier in the funnel. Stability is a challenge because with all that air pressure, maneuvering inside the funnel is difficult unless you maneuver your body in the right way. I recommend coming here several times and spend hours in here before the tandem skydive if you get the jitters. On the actual skydive I experienced, I felt absolutely no adrenaline rush, rapid heart beat, pressure or shaky hands whatsoever afterwards. I knew and expected what was to come because of the indoor experience. I think my family was relieved as well. However, the actual skydive was overall immensely more intense in duration and had an actual view. Pictures will be provided for your viewing as well. Thanks Rio and Daniel. read more

Biggest mistake coming here, do not be fooled by the advertisements. My child was treated worse than the dogs they have running around while you wait. The air head instructor is not kid friendly, no patience and rude. The whole thing is very rushed, my child is a size 14/16 the suit he was given had to be 10/12 we let the instructor know it didnt fit he then seems aggitated and gives us a ridiculously large suit it had to be a men's 2X. The helmet was also too tight but didn't realize that until we had to pull it off. How do you expect a child to feel comfortable when you can't even provide decent equipment. A thin child went first he floated easily and instructor was hands on with him. My child is on the husky side they could not get the air right so he basically rolled around on the floor until the instructor pulled him out and said he's done. He then does a second round with the other kid so I'm hoping our second round goes better... nope! He didnt even give him a second chance just comes out and shouts over and over he's done he's done. So since we got nothing out of it you would think we would get a refund...nope! No apology either just a choice to reschedule or half refund. A full refund is the least you could've done since you failed to provide a service. Obviously you don't care but you ruined a kids birthday. You guys have these huge tip jars in every room...here's a tip do your job and try to give a kid a nice experience. iFLY Ontario is the better option!!!!! read more

He was mad from the start frustrated that he had to get us a new suit although he picked the wrong size for us. The manager didn't even want to hear us out or help us they only offered a partial refund for an experience that was not even worth the hour trip down to perris ! Yes, Pigs can fly! I received a gift certificate for Perris Indoor Skydiving and decided to finally use it. Located at the Perris Airport is the Skyventure Wind Tunnel. Almost clearing 100 feet, you can't miss it. The inside of this vertical wind tunnel is setup like an execution chamber. You have the flight area ( inner room), and a viewing area behind a Plexiglas wall.. As a flier you work your way around the outer rooms of the wind tunnel. The first room you receive training then move into the dressing room ( wind suit, goggles, helmet). When ready, it's into the wind chamber... The experience. I wouldn't call it a stressless experience. You're basically forcing your body into a specific form in order to stay levitated. Just like with your first time snowboarding, you're going to work muscles that aren't used to this type of movement. You will feel a little sore afterward. If you're not very nimble or coordinated you're going to go all over the place and ultimately "kiss the grate floor". If you're not training for real Skydiving, this may be a one time experience for most. Maybe a fun "adventurous date". So, can anyone try this? Well they do have age restrictions and I think weight restrictions too. Remember, the more you weigh the more RPMs they have to crank up. The more RPMs the louder the noise and vibration. I suppose if someone really big was in the chamber it would be quite noisy. read more

You will step into a short class previous to the session and the end you will go and get set with goggles (or helmet for $10 xtra), suit and earplugs. My boy got the option to choose a superhero suit at no extra charge. One of my boys has autism and they assisted him wonderfully!!! This activity is for the hole family my boys are all different ages and from the 17 teen to the 8years old they all enjoyed!!! We came here as a group for my husbands birthday and we had a blast. This was the first tine any of us had one the indoor skydiving and we loved it. What a great experience! The staff are amazing.....very friendly from the moment you walk in and they went over everything with us before going upstairs. Once you get upstairs you get to watch other people experience the tunnel and we were surprised at how many little kids were there. After the instructions and video we went to dress in the super hero suits - that was fun in itself! The tunnel was great and was just like skydiving itself. The trainers inside were fantastic and you can tell they enjoy what they do and ensure that you get the best experience possible. Next stop - jumping from the plane!
