Amazing and Unforgettable Experience! We met at the designated meeting point at 5:00 a.m., and by 5:15 a.m. we were driving to the launch location. The crew was extremely organized and professional. It was fascinating to watch them set up and inflate the balloon, and by around 5:50 a.m. we were ready for takeoff. I wasn't nervous at all because the ride was incredibly smooth from start to finish. We spent about 45 minutes in the air, enjoying breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The weather was perfect, and floating above the landscape as the sun came up was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our captain was very professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. He shared interesting information throughout the flight and made everyone feel comfortable and safe. The entire crew worked together seamlessly and clearly cared about providing a great experience for their guests. After researching several companies, I chose Cielo Balloons, and I'm so glad I did. let me start off with saying, the crew and overall experience was 5 stars. the reason for the 3 stars is because we had to wait more than an hour to find a spot to fly up n once we finally got in the air, time was cut short. we missed the sun rise as well. they had to test the wind, but i suggest they have someone go ahead to test n find perfect launch zone before the people arrive in the van. balloons were flying already when we were just waiting in the van. n then again once found the launch zone n were in the air for a shirt anount of time. read more

Took a balloon ride to celebrate my 74th birthday - although now I think I should have waited one more year. The crew was fabulous. Couldn't believe our gigantic balloon was rolled up into a 4-foot ball. But the guys set right to work and had the balloon upright in no time. The ride was so smooth no one noticed when we actually left the ground. So peaceful and beautiful to be aloft - could see for miles! I hosted a reunion with girlfriends I grew up with in my hometown and we decided to go on a balloon ride for sunrise and we are so glad we did! The staff were welcoming and very informative about what we should expect on our ride. They take safety very seriously as they took time out to conduct a wind check to ensure a safe ride. We watched the staff setup and prepare the balloon for take off. Allowed us all photo ops throughout our experience, and offered us mini Bundt cakes and champagne at the end of our ride. While in the air, they flew us over the many wineries in Temecula. As the sunrise started to light up our day, we enjoyed the presence of other hot air balloons setting up on the ground and others floating alongside us. It was an awesome experience! When you book a ride on the website, you will find the meetup location to meet at a specific time the day of. Staff will load all passengers into the van transport to balloon setup location after a wind check is done. The meetup location has restrooms and fountains we can use before and after our flight. The ride was chilly for us, I recommend you bring jacket. read more

The experience is mediocre. not worth the cost and wake up early. the tour states 3 hours. the actual time in balloon is about 45 minutes. the whole thing include waiting is 2 hours. Just up and down to see the land is kind of boring to me at this height. We finish before 730am. read more

Such a magical and special experience! We picked Cielo because they seem to have been doing this the longest so we figured they're the safest. :) Our pilot has been flying hot air balloons for 12+ years and he was wonderful! The whole experience was perfect--they gave us clear directions for where to meet in the morning (6:00 am, and they gave us one last bathroom stop at a winery, which was great!) and you can text them the day before if you have any questions. We were one of the first balloons up so we saw the sunrise and other balloons below still getting ready. We flew for almost an hour and felt safe and so happy the whole time! EXCELLENT!!!!! Reached out via text to get additional details for the ride and birthday options. Joe was prompt and super helpful with all my questions. Our meet up time was 4:45am, upon arriving to our meeting spot, there was a gentleman guiding us to the parking area. We then boarded their van where they took us to the take off spot. with We were able to do a last bathroom stop before leaving. Once they found the perfect spot, our adventure began, they set up so quickly that we we were up in the air in no time, and as promised we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise. We were up in the air until Joe found the perfect landing location, he made us feel safe and we landed with no issues. Once we landed, we had mimosas and bundlets, perfect way to end our morning. My boyfriend surprised me with this incredible, hot air, balloon ride! Woke my ass up at 4 AM but believe me it was all worth it. Josh was our pilot and was incredible but what stood out to me the most was the team and how quick and efficiently they were able to set the balloons up as well as make sure that the weather conditions were safe for us to enjoy the ride. I really liked that. The set up team were excited to take pictures for us. There was six of us plus the pilot in one basket and we all fit pretty comfortably. I wasn't expecting to have to climb into the basket (I thought maybe there was a door to get in), but everyone is super helpful for those who struggle to climb over things. I was mesmerized by the views in the whole experience . I really like the little history lesson Josh gave us about hot air balloons, and how it started. Had to get up super early and find the meeting point in the pitch dark pre-sunrise; however it was all worth it. Kind of surprised the starting and landing point change daily due to the weather conditions. Had to land in someone's yard right over some power lines but Josh and crew made a seamless landing! We had a wonderful and amazing time on our first hot air balloon ride on Sunday September 21st to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The whole experience was very organized and Our pilot Josh and the crew were great. There was such a calmness when the balloon started to go higher. You could barely feel it moving. The sunrise was so beautiful and colorful. It was so clear and we could see the beautiful wineries, lake, mountains and other balloons flying in the sky. There were 11 passengers plus the pilot and everyone we met was so nice. We felt very safe and can now check this off our bucket list. We can't wait until our granddaughter is old enough to experience this with us. My only suggestion is if you are celebrating something and want to have the banner added to the basket for pictures you will need to make sure to ask them. I had requested it when I made the reservation but forgot to ask about it until we were already in the sky. It didn't affect our experience at all. After the flight you get mimosas or orange juice and little bundt cakes which were nice treat. We would definitely recommend Cielo balloons to other people. read more

My boyfriend took me here as a Valentine's Day gift--we both had such a great time! We initially had it scheduled for the day before Valentine's but had to reschedule for the week after due to a storm--rescheduling was understandable and easy! We rode with about 5 others plus the pilot (Alex). The staff all had great attitudes and were so friendly. They were knowledgable and explained the whole experience well. The equipment was top notch and the staff were efficient in prepping, setting up and taking things down. I would 1000% recommend doing this experience, with this company specifically. The flight was so enjoyable--the sunrise views are indescribable. The flight lasted a lot longer than expected, it felt about an hour long. The air is so calm up there. I've wanted to do a hot air balloon ride for my whole life. I hinted to my husband that it was a dream of mine to get engaged on a ride. The hint didn't stick.
