JP helped my Boyfriend, Now fiancé with my proposal. This was the best experience of my life !! He was really nice and made sure we were comfortable.... Let me start again , On Saturday 12/13/14 my boyfriend was supposed to pick me up for a fun day in Rancho Cucamonga, well supposibly the plans were changed and we ended up going to Carlsbad which the whole ride there I did not ask questions because I thought we were going to pick up some car parts for his new toy. He had dropped some hints about it the night before. When we arrived at the airport he started getting very suspicious making wierd phone calls. Well I was to busy fixing my makeup in the mirror to notice that what I thought was a parking storage was actually an airport. We get off and start walking in, I was so confused. The pilot was very friendly and introduced himself and made sure to stay quiet about my surprise ahead. My boyfriend said, well I decided to be adventurous and do something we have never done before and take a plane ride. The take off was surprisingly very smooth. We flew over Carlsbad beach at sunset for about half an hour, JP knew I was extremely nervous to fly over the water because I can't swim. He made sure to stay close to shore, basically long story short I looked down onto the beach and there was a pink sign saying marry me? I didn't think it was for me so instead I decided to read the sign that was right next to it out loud which said Merry Christmas. I turned around and my boyfriend was telling me how much he loved me, I started recording his sweet words, all to find out he was actually proposing!!!! It was the best day of my entire life !!!! The landing was great, well I had so many butterfly's that I truly didn't feel it. He helped take pictures of us and was a very sweet person. Thank you JP for helping for this to all happen. Wow what a great experience! Anthony took us in and showed us around the facility. He told us that there are multiple things to do around Temecula and there were brochures showing the scenic city around the vineyards and ocean. Once we got inside the plane, Anthony buckled our belts and made sure we hooked up the headphones correctly. He's a great with guiding us where we were going and told us brief history of the vineyards. It was a 30 minute flight. My BF and I did the 30 minute flight and wine tour and it was a great experience!!!! Soo cool. We met Anthony inside of the French valley cafe lobby, we signed a waiver and he took us out right away. Gave us the run down and we were off! We went over Temecula by the wineries and Anthony knew more about the wineries than some of the employees! A few months back while browsing Groupon my brother stumbled across the AirOshi deal. After bandaging himself up he remembered I was planning a Cali adventure for a friend visiting from Germany, and what could be more exciting than flying over the wineries on a beautiful day in her first private plane(Me...duh). So I immediately purchased the 30-minute flight + Wine tour and the rest was history(Soon to be described in the next paragraph) About a month before the flight I called and spoke to Anthony Oshinuga. I was able to quickly schedule the flight on the day and time that I requested. Anthony seemed friendly and knowledgeable, exactly the kind of person I wanted to take us on our first flight. The day before the flight I noticed that the forecast was predicting rain, like he was reading my mind Anthony called and said he checked with the weather service and the conditions the following day weren't going to be good for a smooth flight. He said he would check in the morning and call me back. The following morning was the same news, bad weather. I was able to reschedule on the next day the Cali adventure allowed which was 2 days later. Once again Anthony called the day before. Except this time the forecast was clear skies and we were on. When we arrived at the airport we met Anthony in the lobby, he gave us a brief overview of what to expect, and information handouts about nearby dining and attractions. While walking to the aircraft we were told about every aspect of the flight and what to expect. Anthony could sense that my friend was nervous and assured her that this plane was much more safe than the large jets because "the bigger they are, the harder they fall". The nervousness was still there, but his sense of humor made her much more at ease. Our tour started and for 30 minutes we were soaring 'worry free' high above the Wineries of Temecula while Anthony told us a little about each of them and answered and questions we had. After the flight, Anthony set us up with a private tour of Wilson Creek Winery with Ryan. Ryan is very knowledgeable and funny. He introduced us to Gus(Wilson Creek sommelier) who instantly made a connection with my friend since she is from Germany and he has traveled to Germany many times. We had an amazing experience, and felt genuinely welcomed by them. Overall it was an amazing experience. I expected my friend to see an airplane and run the other way, but Anthony's confidence and sense of humor assured her she was in safe company. I was perusing groupon for gifts and came upon Air Oshinuga and thought it might be a great gift for my fiancée's birthday after reading some very positive reviews. The package came with a 30 minute tour of Temecula and the wineries nearby, plus seven generous tastings at the Faulkner Winery. Finding the place initially was difficult because The GPS led us into some random location, but to make things simple its just at the French Valley Airport. Where do I begin?? First, I have to say, Anthony is the man. The pilot man! (That was corny- whatevs) my wife purchased an air tour as a surprise for my birthday. My husband and I recently went on a flight with Anthony for our anniversary. It was such an amazing experience. Anthony was great with communication, he was extremely professional, well dressed, airplane immaculate, prompt and friendly. My husband wants to get his pilot license, and Anthony was explaining to him what the different gauges meant. We were flying over where our daughters were being babysat (at a swimming pool) and he even flew closer to let them see us!
