Great little pub. Good beer selections and food. Favorite spot for the locals and college students. TV had the UMASS game on when we were there. This is one of the spots you need to try to fully experience.

Hidden gem. The chef here is amazing and puts out some delicious food. Have a drink in the patio and listen to some live music.

The Harp is my other favorite place in the Valley. I rotate my visits between Alina's and The Harp.

Meh food. Drinks slow when not too busy. AC didn't work great. That's all I got, Yelp.

Good food. Better booze. I have no bloody idea why they don't open up the WiFi to customers.

A classic Irish pub, college football on the tv's, a huge diverse drink menu, and great service. We came for drinks and an app. Our drinks were great, I especially liked my pumpkin pie martini. There is also more seating in the back with couches which is super fun when coming with a group of friends. We just got the chicken tenders which were delicious, I really liked the sauce that came with it. This place just has a great atmosphere and now will be our go-to.

The wait staff took my order but didn't put the dinner order in or give me the draft beer. I waited and decided to cancel my order and receive my CCd back. when u got my card back the waitress charged me $9.99 for the pint. I asked to take the charge off because I didn't get the pint. at this time the waitress yelled for me to calm down, that it was an honest mistake. it was the most embarrassing experience I've ever had in a restaurant. I'm a retired teacher ( high school) and this experience brought me back to days of deal with hormonal teenage girls. I went to the Banner restaurant and had excellent service.

We got seated right away, but it was busy for the time (mid afternoon). Our server was very friendly and the food came out quickly. The French onion soup hit the spot and was some of the best I've ever had. Rich beef broth, tender onions, nice and hot, and of course perfectly melted cheese. We shared a patty melt with onion rings. The patty melt was overdone - we ordered medium but it was beyond well done. Still flavorful but would have preferred it as ordered. They had a large patio which must be nice in the summer. A lot of the photos showed it being in a shopping mall, but those must be old, because it is a standalone restaurant. We will definitely go back when in the area, especially when we want French onion soup!

Big time improvement over the last time I was there (Broadview 30+ years ago). The chili was so good the first time I ordered it again. The rest of the menu looked good. Service was efficient. For appetizers we had oysters and the grilled octopus. Both of which were delicious, but the serving size on the appetizer was very small. Next was the arugula salad. Really nothing special here. Very basic salad and portion size again was small. Then our main courses. I got the monkfish. The flavor was good, but again, SUPER small portion size for a main dish. My husband got the duck and same story there. Great flavor, very small portion size. For dessert we got the cheesecake and the chocolate raspberry torte like bowl. I thought these were both pretty decent. In terms of the ambiance, my husband and I both noted they needed to dim the lights by about 50%. It was very bright in there. Otherwise, the building is beautiful and they've done a good job. Overall, food is good, I would just love to see larger portion sizes and faster service time. Im happy to see a new place in town, so this feedback is not meant to be harsh, just some suggestions on how to improve.

I'm a vegetarian, and although a couple dishes had the option to swap the seafood for tofu, veggie options were lacking. The sesame cauliflower was very good as an app! I had wanted to try the burnt end mushrooms but they were no longer on the menu. Service was incredibly slow. I know the waitress was hustling and it's not her fault, but I'm not sure why it took 45 minutes for our entrees to come out. She kept apologizing and saying it would be out soon but we were there for a full 90 minutes before we got our entrees which was weird. I ordered the harvest bowl with tofu and it was fine. It was a big portion size, great variety of veggies, and the pesto was good. But there wasn't enough pesto for the whole dish and without the pesto, nothing else was seasoned at all. It was so bland. The tofu was just big chunks of lightly seared plain tofu. I saw on the menu you can order fish and chips with tofu instead, but it seems silly to come to a place known for seafood and swap their fish for tofu. Especially after eating the harvest dish, I don't know if they would even know how to properly prepare the tofu. Maybe this is a good spot for drinks and oysters but that's about it!
