I stayed within my budget and left gorgeous, although I am concerned that my cut is a little more high-maintenance that I'm used to and that my flunky fingers won't be able to recreate the salon awesomeness at home. The salon is small and not fussily-decorated, and the music wasn't obnoxiously loud. If I could nudge my rating down 1/2 a star I would, but only for two minor things - I was never offered coffee or a drink (had to ask, and this was after being there an hour), and the chairs are too low at the stations to see into the mirrors that are hanging over too-high bureaus. Bombshell has a great, convenient location in the Monterrey's shopping center on 211, near the burgeoning area of medical offices and the new hospital, sure to continue to expand and increase client base, success, and customers in all the area businesses.

My daughter and I visited Amelia at Ceremony Salon for my daughter's birthday. First, I have to say…read morethat I love that they have a video pinned on Instagram to show you how to get there. We got into the parking lot and checked which building was the correct building with the Instagram post and found it without issues! Got in and had Amelia to ourselves for a little while. The thing I was most impressed with about Amelia is the time she took to understand not only our hair goals, but to understand our hair! What's going on with it that we have seen, what she can see, what she suggests, what products we currently use and which ones she recommends. I learned things about my hair AND about the products I already have at home that I had NO CLUE about. I have never had someone take so much time and be so thoughtful about my hair at a salon. I have had the typical "what would you like done today?", "what are we thinking?", etc. but this was education and meeting me where my hair is with the goal of getting me where I would like to be. She also took the time to explain why some hair styles wouldn't turn out the way the way it looked for other people in pictures I had saved. Ie. Texture, length, density, extensions, etc. Amelia is so sweet and thoughtful. We had such a great birthday experience together and I am so grateful that it's only a short trip to have such a wonderful salon visit! Did I mention they use amazing products and are an inclusive, gratuity free salon? I can't recommend enough. What a freaking cute salon!
