We both had appointments with Lindsey & she was so nice! She heard what we wanted & gave us solid styles!! We are so happy!! Wash, style & blow dry for $40 + a generous tip. Lindsay also has an assistant, which is great to have extra hands. The salon is SUPER cute - rustic, charming & everyone seems so friendly. One daughter got only a hair cut which you can see is uneven, when it's dry it looks utterly ridiculous. Next daughter showed a picture of what she wanted and she rushed her through the foiling process telling us she had another client at the same time awesome. After sitting with wet hair for 20 minutes while she did the other girl she resumed. She asked for a V cut and as you can tell by the picture, that is not what she received. Her layers in the front were also uneven. Her color was brassy it looks horrific! When I called on Monday asking if she could fix her, she said she was busy and couldn't do anything other then toss on a toner and send her home with uneven wet hair. This after I came in early to help her out. The owner didn't care anymore then Sarah did and said she rents the space and how she treats people is up to her. Happily we were lucky enough to find a new place to fix her up with a wonderful stylist that spent emense time putting her back together for the first day of school. I did get a refund for one of my daughters hair minus the other ones who I didn't complain about since it was in a French braid and I couldn't tell. Minus tip as well. My daughter cried and was miserable and the owner and Sarah could care less. So disturbing on so many levels

Ellen has done such a great job with my hair cuts as well. She has such a great memory about how I style my hair so unless I am changing my style I do not have to tell her how I want my hair cut. When I do try something new, she always does an awesome job! Lastly, Ellen is so friendly and truly cares about her clients. She has taken the time, on multiple occasions, to teach me how to do a particular hair style- the latest was how to get the loose curl look. The receptionist scheduled the appointment for Saturday. When I called on Saturday to confirm the appointment the person I spoke with was initially unable to find the booking. Eventually she found it. Upon arriving with my daughter for her appointment, I was told again that they couldn't find the booking. When the lady at the front desk eventually found it, I was told that I had only requested one service and that the stylist didn't have enough time to do a silk press. This is unacceptable, and they need to get themselves sorted out. I'm will not be coming back here.

I left feeling disappointed because I expected to walk out with a finished look, not have to go home and do the styling myself. Beware of sew-in/service scams…read more. So if you re getting simple service (blow out, trim, silk press, etc) this is probably a good place, but a bit pricey. However, I was looking for a sew in, and I found this place to be deceptive (via lack of transparency) and a little thievish....like they just need every penny I booked and paid a deposit on the site. I wanted more info so I called (taking initiative as a customer). On the phone they inform me i need a consultation for any service and they only use their bundles, and I clarify that neither of those requirements are on the website, but ok. I ask how much are the bundles, the receptionist cant tell me for some reason. Odd right? After a bit of back and forth, I decide that I will pay for a consultation, which is stated to be 25$ over the phone and the money would go to my service, ok fine - glad I called and found out. I go there - the 'consultation' is a basic, paper form Q&A and the stylist showed 4 little cuts of example textures. I ask for the price, as any educated consumer does. She tells me the bundles are $120/weft for the kinky coily one I want. Mind you, they are labeled TexHair which doesn't even come up online? They were human but thick root but very thin at the end (IMO). Personal choice, i am not paying 120 per bundle for a bundle I cant not see in person. The examples were trimings.... As I leave the receptionist, says i owe 10 more dollars for the consultation???? I spoke to the stylist for 5 minutes max. i just wanted to now the cost of the bundles which (whisper screams) were on a piece of paper the receptionist could have found the very first time i called?! She gave me after care advice and I was even allowed to buy the product so I could manage and maintain on my own - I typically don't get after care instructions. We started my service promptly and finished a little longer than anticipated but I did add a treatment. I've been getting lots of compliments on my style - it's shining and healthy looking. I hope to continue getting treatments so my hair will be more voluminous. Prices are in line with current rates at other natural salons - expensive but worthwhile
