Ellen has done such a great job with my hair cuts as well. She has such a great memory about how I style my hair so unless I am changing my style I do not have to tell her how I want my hair cut. When I do try something new, she always does an awesome job! Lastly, Ellen is so friendly and truly cares about her clients. She has taken the time, on multiple occasions, to teach me how to do a particular hair style- the latest was how to get the loose curl look. She didn't just run through fast instructions and send me on my way; instead she walked me through the process step-by-step while actually showing me how to do it. I called to make an appointment and was told Sunni was away for a long period of time but another stylist could take care of me. She did the exact same thing that Sunni did but charged me $90. $90 for dry cut in Oakwood? I was floored. No one mentioned prior that there was a price change or a new owner so I was caught totally off guard and had to whip out a credit card to pay. A lot of excuses were given but no offer to reduce the fee. Ive called and asked for the owner to call me but I doubt I will hear back because the whole conversation with the receptionist sounded very sketchy. I may have to dispute the charge to get anywhere with it. Be aware and beware of going here especially without asking a whole lot of questions. If I hear back Ill post an update. This is not a good way for new owners to start out. They will definitely lose my business and WILL NOT recommend them to anyone else.

Super friendly hairstylist and Sunny is the best! Always gave me quality washes, cuts, and styles. However, today when I got charged more than usual, I asked why to make sure I wasn't being overcharged. They realized I was accidentally charged for a haircut too which I didn't get and thought it was going to go back down to my normal price but it didn't so I was confused. As the website said a different price than what was showing. When they explained it's because they just increased the price, I understood as I knew they got new hairstylists. Then I started to Venmo my regular hairstylist and out of the blew the owner said I could go outside and do that. Then she started yelling in my face and told me to get out of her store or she was calling the cops. Shocked, I started walking out as I was deeply concerned as she sounded like she lost her mind and the other customers waiting were shocked as well. From outside the door, I asked if I could still leave my hairstylist a tip as I didn't know what to do or react. The owner came out and called me CHEAP and told me if I didn't like to new price, don't come back eventhough I already paid and understood at this point. I was silent. Then she said to never come back. I was humiliated and sad as I love this salon and being a loyal customer, I can't come back all because I didn't want to be overcharged. I felt verbally attacked and I will stay clear of this owner.

As you can see in the pictures herein, I'm definitely not an all over warm blonde, but rather a mixture of colors with bright white blonde around my hairline & dark roots showing, along with a mixture of other colors throughout. I could tell when she rinsed my hair that something wasn't right as you can clearly see in the picture. She asked me if I was on Google when I merely asked her about semipermanent vs demipermanent on my hair & when I told her yes, she got an attitude & told me I need to trust her. This is what my trust got me. I had a consult with a colorist in Atlanta on Friday who I now have to pay to fix her ugly mess up. You can clearly see the demarcation lines & different colors in my hair. Even the top salon in Atlanta was shaking their head at this mess in my hair. Don't waist your money like I did. She has no experience in doing blonde nor even knows about suggesting a raw lift, no toner to make someone warm blonde. The pictures herein speak for themselves. The fact that you responded and lied through your teeth stating that this visit was for "correcting bright orange low lights" is WILD! And not once during this visit did you adjust my tone mid service during this visit. You in fact absolutely do NOT know how to properly do blonde hair. Notice how you didn't even mention all the demarcation lines you left in my hair. People that read this will see the truth, for the pictures speak for themselves, and they speak volumes. My hair has since been corrected by an expert colorist in Atlanta whom did a raw lift. I no longer have multiple color shades and all the demarcation lines are gone. It's unfortunate that at the very least, you didn't take some type of accountability.

There are spills all over the walls and hair everywhere. Each stylist has their area which some maintain better than others and Lyndi's area is well maintained. Everyone that smokes stays on the outside side of building and it just looks bad. They definitely need a repaint and dusting from floor to ceiling.
