This was a salon that made me smile and made me happier than I have ever been with my hair. Theresa, the owner, kept it clean, very cool atmosphere, love the decor. Every time I saw her, I truly left looking amazing. Well, my hair! Today, I found out she was going to be moving to FL with her family. I am going to miss the one most honest hair stylist I have ever met who truly knew what she was doing. She's a beautiful person, fun, and I could not be happier for her and her family. I've sampled many of the salons in the Braselton area, some with better results than others, but I was really pleased with my recent experience at Bombshell. Lauren was upfront and honest from the moment that I sat in her chair, explaining cost of the services that she recommended for me. I am laid-back about my hair, and tend to go into a salon with a "I trust you and what you think will look best on me" attitude, and in Bombshell's case, it worked. I stayed within my budget and left gorgeous, although I am concerned that my cut is a little more high-maintenance that I'm used to and that my flunky fingers won't be able to recreate the salon awesomeness at home. The salon is small and not fussily-decorated, and the music wasn't obnoxiously loud. If I could nudge my rating down 1/2 a star I would, but only for two minor things - I was never offered coffee or a drink (had to ask, and this was after being there an hour), and the chairs are too low at the stations to see into the mirrors that are hanging over too-high bureaus. Bombshell has a great, convenient location in the Monterrey's shopping center on 211, near the burgeoning area of medical offices and the new hospital, sure to continue to expand and increase client base, success, and customers in all the area businesses. read more

After Matthews & Co. left me disappointed (not once but twice) I called Bombshell salon. Jess was able to get me in on short notice. She fixed my brassy roots and got the pink dye that had bled onto my blonde out. Also a quick bangs trim. I left happy and will be returning. I've been bouncing around to different salons in the area for years, never leaving fully satisfied. I left Jess's chair SATISFIED! So often my hair isn't lifted enough, is brassy, bangs not trimmed right, etc.. I don't consider myself a picky person but I don't like brassiness in my hair. It's not that difficult to fix if you know what you're doing. Note: the pink was already there. I just moved to the area and was trying to find a new place to get periodic brow waxing. I did not have any other salon services. The facility was nice and clean, but I was generally disappointed by the experience. First, maybe it was just the day I was there, but there was not a receptionist. So I waited about 45 mins after my scheduled appointment time until I was seen without much of a status update on the delay. I would have been fine with it because things happen, but the wax felt haphazard and rushed and I didn't feel that it turned out well given the hurry. read more

I love this salon. Jessica did my hair on my last visit, and it turned out perfectly. I was more than pleased. The salon is small, but it's very warm and cozy. It is a very laid back environment. I definitely recommend it. The only reason I deducted a star was the location. I completely understand why they moved (rent for space off Hwy 211 is getting ridiculous), but you almost drive right by it on Hwy 124. read more

I booked a session with Kelly Yang on a Wednesday (March 16th, 2016) I can not be any more happier that I've went to the Bombshell Salon. I had called ahead the day of my appointment, Bc I was going to be about 30 minutes late. (Due to another appointment Ive had earlier that same day to resize my engagement ring.)The lady that picked up the phone was very sweet. When I walked inside the salon. I was just "Wow" by their decors. I absolutely love their decors. The staffs are all very well dressed & absolutely Beautiful. I felt very welcome. I didn't feel awkward at all. I didn't really have anything in mind walking in. I just knew I wanted to go lighter & I wanted colors to frame my face. Kelly did exactly what I told her & more. I'm visiting the area for the SCCA race weekend, and I was dying to get s trim (for my killer split ends!) and I turned to Yelp. Jessica @ Bombshell was able to take me right away (around 3pm Saturday) and she did an excellent job. Professional and kind, she got rid of nearly 98% of my dead hair. I am an ultra-hair-nazi. While we spoke and she worked, I noticed her attention to detail which is huge for me, so I recommended my boyfriend come in as well...because I know that's important for him as well! My daughter needed her hair cut for senior pictures so I turned to Yelp for a recommendation. We came in after 5 pm on a Tuesday. Didn't have an appointment but they were able to take her right away. I was impressed with the staff. They were very friendly. My daughter was happy with her haircut. She brought a sketch of what she wanted and was satisfied with the results. The price was good, too. That being said, when I got engaged, Kelly Yang with Bombshell Salon was one of my first vendors. I HAD to have Kelly do my hair and makeup because I have worked with her several times and have been completely blown away every time. The first time she did my hair and makeup was for an engagement shoot. I was so impressed and felt so beautiful, yet still myself. My wedding was no different. Once she was done, I couldn't stop looking at myself! She really made me feel like the beautifully stunning bride I have always wanted to be. My husband couldn't keep his eyes off me the whole night! After moving to New York, to say it's been a struggle to find a competent, reasonable salon would be an understatement. I've driven past Bombshell every time I visit home and when it popped up in a Groupon email, I decided it was time to give it a try. My appointment was with Kayla who I can't say enough good things about! She's apprenticing and doing great! Had she not told me, I never would have known. She listened to my requests and really delivered exactly what I asked of her. Some people don't handle constructive criticism well at all. Kayla is not one of those people! The only time I heard one of the other stylists gave her a critique, she took it with a smile on her face and corrected her technique. This speaks to the dynamic amongst the girls as well as the customers. It was friendly and casual while still keeping it professional.
