I am so happy I decided to take a chance and try this Ulta salon. I used the Ulta in Rego Park NY for 4 years and had an amazing stylist. I moved to Athens in 4/20 and have used the ulta in Atlanta and my stylist moved. Still dealing with a horrific cut by one of the stylists. She also botched my daughter's haircut. They are going to send the stylist to continuing education for textured hair. She cut 9.5 inches off my hair into the hair line when all she was asked to do was trim the bottom of my hair and trim the bangs. It turned into a hack job that will now take years to grow out. And because she cut into my hairline on the sides, that 1.5" hacked hair is going into my eyeballs when I am outside with the wind blowing. Doing my hair in the morning is annoying because I have to try to weed out the hacked off pieces. Ulta lost my family's business for sure. read more

Second time I have written this review--not sure what happened to the first one. Anyway, usually buy my cosmetics at mall but went into this store as I needed a couple items. Met a very helpful woman-Tina or Tena- anyway she was very helpful. Found some new products and got excellent information comparing what I use to use. Love the new stuff and I plan on going back to this store again for my future skin care. Change made me feel better about what I am using and not just the habit of buying a couple of the same things. I made my appointment online and picked a stylist randomly. I Showed up 10 minutes early (appointment was for 430pm) to be told the stylist was finishing up. Services manager and others were nice however after waiting 35 minutes (time was 5:05pm) and the stylist was still working on the same client, I left. Only when I told the services manager I was leaving did she offer to book me with a different stylist which should have been done much earlier. I politely declined and left. Had a different issue at the Athens Ulta a few months ago and now Ulta has lost al of my business. read more

Nice Ulta inside but customer service is terrible. The young lady at the front desk wasn't knowledgeable on the store policy and you could tell she shouldn't have been unattended at the register. Ended up leaving. Also saw two kids "borrowing" as I left but I'm sure the manager was to busy being a Karen and not worried about the right priorities to notice, lol. Hope that corporate does something about the employees at this location or it will be run down like the rest of the stores around. read more

This will be my first review ever.... it's a shame I have to do this for racial profiling. Long story short... I'm a white guy with a mixed family, I never realized profiling was a thing until I was with my wife who is puerto rican / hawaiian. We ran into a disugsting event today at Ulta in Winder. My wife, 3 kids, and her 2 sisters went into Ulta (My wife usually comes alone to pick out some perfumes, today she went with her family). She was instantly greeted with a old lady that held both her hands out screaming NO CARTS ALLOWED, as they saw multiple people allowed to have their strollers pushed through. It was clear this wasn't about the cart, it was about who was coming in with the cart. The lady followed them around the store, staring them down the entire time. They eventually left, being so uncomfortable, even tho I told her she could get a few perfumes for the new year and since we didn't get any Christmas Gifts. I just want everyone to know how the people at Ulta are treating their guest. You will see I don't write any reviews, and to come here and do so really upsets me. I thought we were past this. SHAME ON YOU ULTA. You lost my wife who shops their once a month usually buying 2-3 of her favorite perfumes. We will gladly go anywhere else. I absolutely love this store due to the staff! They're so knowledgeable and if they don't know the answer, rest assured they'll find out for you. They will always make sure you're happy with your purchase. Of course, I'm a repeat customer here so a lot of them all know my face but every service here from brows to the salon to the makeup is just great. This is by far my favorite Ulta to visit. read more

Employees are very friendly. The store is clean but I am bothered by some of the product and packaging they put for sale. Some of their morphe products I usually see are messed up. Other than that customer service is phenomenal. read more

Great customer service. Very attentive staff. I tried some of their services for the first time. The 10 minute facial was economical and good. The brows were excellent. The lady took her time to map out the correct brow shape and do it correctly. Not the standard "wax on wax off" hurry up and next client job I've grown accustomed to. I will be back. read more
