I regret having waiting this long to visit this restaurant! Came here for the first time and was totally impressed as soon as I set a foot thru the door. The place is big, very clean and very well arranged. There are dart boards, pool table and a stage for live music. The walls are very nicely decorated with map of the local area and some wood art and other various items. Very nicely done. We were quickly shown to our table and our waitress was right there with us from the beginning making sure we were taken care of. We were a very needy group of 10 this time and we had no complaints at all by the end of our visit! The place was fairly busy as it was the midst of lunch hour but our drinks came quickly and our food order was taken shortly after that. While waiting for our food, drinks were refilled and other needs were handled promptly as well. I had half order of chicken wings, hot, all drums with a side of ranch and the "south of the border burger" the wings were nothing special, hot was barely mild in my opinion and the flavor was just ok. Not bad not great just ok. I would have the wings again if I was craving some wings. The burger was delicious! Juicy, well seasoned and the flavors went well together. Definitely a keeper. The fries were DELICIOUS and went very well with the chipotle aioli. I would totally visit again and definitely recommend to everyone to visit and not be off "the grid" read more

I've been wanting to check out this place for awhile and finally got around to stopping in for lunch. The restaurant itself is pretty nice. It's a huge space that can accommodate large groups and was very clean. Service was ok. Nothing special, she did the bare minimum any server would do and she was relatively new so I will give her some slack in that aspect. For appetizer, we got loaded potatoes. They were decent. For my main entree I got the California wrap with my side being Mulligatawny soup. I've never had that soup before so I can't compare it to any previous experience but it was really good. It had chicken, apples and varies vegetables. It was very creamy and tasty. Now the California wrap-- I've never had one before so I wasn't aware it was going to be cold, which I didn't like. The wrap itself was huge so I ate half and it really didn't satisfy me. I was planning of leaving the other half however, I don't like wasting food so I decided to take my leftovers home. So for dinner I decided to eat the other half but this time I put it in my toaster oven to warm it up and toast the tortilla for a bit. It was delicious!! Two of us enjoyed a nice lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Good tap list and a full bar. Service was quick and friendly. Our meals were delicious - nothing fancy, but all good. Great open ambiance - it's a nice environment. Prices are reasonable too. It's off the main drag - a major plus! Lots of parking, outside dining if you like. We went for lunch on Sunday 3/23/2025 and noted a 3% discount for cash, however after we received the receipt the Grid charges 3% for a "Convenience Fee Dine-in". The wooden chairs left a lot to be desired. The food is pricey for the quality and quantity. As for service, once the food is delivered, we were ignored by the staff, even after finishing we had to flag down the waitress. The Grid is off our list of ever returning. read more

It took a while to get the menu, then a drink order in, then the food order in (a simple one at that....one item for two people to share). 2 stars for service. Food: one beer, one Taco salad. The service is good when the owners are there (paul and his wife). However, when they are not the ladies that work there rather talk to one another, or they are on their phones without a care in the world or attention to customers. Absolutely amazing place to eat and drink. Their fish tacos are awesome, for dinner their Emi's chicken! Their changing drink specials keep us coming back for more. Stopped in at the Grid while we were down in Fallon. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday lunch. I had the Pastrami dip with onion rings. It was a pretty good sandwich. It had mustard with grilled onions and cheese. The pastrami was lean. The bread was soft and the onion rings we good as well. I tried the Grid blonde ale. I don't know if it was brewed there or it was brewed for them. It was alright. Good spot for Fallon. Worth a look if you are in town. read more

The restaurant side of The Grid has potential for being a great restaurant, but it's not there yet. Our server was great, but I have to agree with other reviews - food takes too long. We ordered the half order of nachos, the chicken fried steak, and the philly cheese steak. The nachos could have used a little more cheese, but they are definitely the best nachos in Fallon. The chicken fried steak was good, but fresh veggies would be a better side. I'd pass on the philly cheese steak. As for the atmosphere, a little low background music would be nice. Overall, I'd definitely come back again, especially for nacbut improvement is still needed for The Grid to be a four star restaurant. Update: I had to knock a star off my review. I tried giving The Grid a third chance, but the food is just not good. I ordered the French dip, and it was by far the worst French dip. Perfection! Seated quickly by friendly staff, appetizer came out quickly, followed by the entrees. Pickle chips were CRISPY! Definitely get those if you come here. Hubby had fish and chips and said it was amazing. I don't fish and it looked delicious even to me! I had the pastrami dip. WONDERFUL. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Smiles all around. We were just driving through when we stopped for dinner. You cannot get service this excellent and food this delicious in Vegas. First time visiting Fallon, NV. Not a lot to do here. Just wanted to check it out because we are new Nevadans. Especially on Sunday when old town is essentially closed. Looked for a restaurant that served beer and Mixed drinks. I thought I am still in NV how hard could it be? Well no easy task. We walked in and out of at least 5 restaurants (cafes). Dingy. Finally decided to just head back home to eat, though over an hour drive and starving. But on the way out saw a sign for The Grid. Looked much more updated than the other establishments. Oh and they served mixed drinks! Self seating, service was great! I ordered the pastrami sandwich with au jus and husband ordered California wrap. Mine with side salad blue cheese dressing, his with beer batter fries. Both sides a 5 star! Blue cheese dressing chunks of fresh blue cheese. Pastrami sandwich I would have preferred horseradish sauce to honey mustard, but otherwise very good. Drinks great. grey Goose on the rocks $6. Visiting my daughter in Fallon. She took us here for dinner. Holy cow! Everything was amazing. The burger made my top 5 list, not an easy list to crack. The cheese sauce was crazy good. The beer battered fries were great. My wife had the fried shrimp, cooked to perfection. The huckleberry mule was very tasty. I highly recommend this place to all who pass through Fallon Nevada. We've tried to like The Grid. But every time, the food is just mediocre and the service is worse in our opinion. For the price, it's overall not worth it. Not even for drinks. We've gone a few different times and it just doesn't get better. I've not been able to eat all of my food and I don't take it home because it's just not good. It's not terrible tasting, but the quality just isn't there. We've never had a server that's not friendly, but the service is slow and we just never get a good impression. It's a great looking place with a lot of potential, but just isn't the place for us. read more

The Grid is by far the best sit down restaurant in Fallon. Staff is friendly, professional, and always smiling. The food is amazing, the kitchen is fast, and the atmosphere is great. Top 3 items for me: 1. Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast; 2. Mango-Habanero Wings; 3. Navy Pride Burger. The beer selection is on point, and always cold. There is also a wide variety of spirits and wine as well. The Grid is exactly what Fallon needed. It is your "home away from home" and everyone there is treated like family. It's a shame that you can only leave 5 stars, because the Grid deserves way more. read more

This was my first time going to this place. The staff was very friendly! If you are out of town and trying this place out for the first time, just know that it is "seat yourself" establishment. When my family and I first arrived we waited for about 45 seconds before someone let us know that it was seat yourself. My recommendation for this business is to have a sign that say to seat yourself. The food was well priced and delicious. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. If you get the soup or salad it does come out right away while you wait for you food, which was very much appreciated since we had a toddler with us! The Grid has great food and drinks. A very busy place on certain nights and days. So be prepared to have a little wait before getting seated. The shrimp Louie salad is awesome, so are there burgers and their potato skins rock! But they could use a little more bacon on them. If your waiter or waitress isn't overloaded with tables! You will have good service. The atmosphere is good but can get very noisy at times, but remember it's like a sports bar. Over all very good eats, kid friendly and it doesn't leave your wallet to empty. read more

I had lunch with a friend today. The Grid is one of only two places in town that have a salad bar. The salad bar was fairly good. When we got there the greens were down to mostly iceberg lettuce, but I asked them if they could refill it and they did. But the salad bar is fairly standard, although it was missing tomato's altogether. This reason I am only giving 3 stars, which is pushing it, is, the front door was locked and no notice about if you use another door or the restaurant was closed. The first table that we sat at was super sticky, and my silverware was filthy, and not water spot filthy, food and not cleaned filthy. The second table was less stick, but still sticky. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said that she hasn't had a chance to clean them since they closed the night before. We came in at 1:30. read more
