This place is so good. If you want great food and great service then this is your spot. The service is fast. I had my food in 5 minutes. I feel the prices match the quality. This place is a puzzle. The food is absolutely outstanding. I mean really, really good and fresh. Excellent coffee. Extremely fresh produce. Well-cooked food, including perfectly poached eggs and tender, not rubbery or overcooked omelettes. That said, I haven't encountered such incompetent, slow, but also unpleasant service in a long time. The host refused to take our order, but then walked around aimlessly while we waited. And waited. And waited. We waited at least 15 minutes for them to take our order. There were two waitresses and 12 tables total, so they certainly weren't too busy. When the waitress did take our order she seemed to resent our presence. It's too bad. The food was good enough for 5 stars. The service was bad enough to lose two. read more

So, I've been meaning to go to this restaurant for a while. The interior decoration is uncomfortable, not too bad when seated near window. But the white padded leather walls and white seats seem overtly fancy or trying to be. (A friend told me it made her feel like in a padded cell) I finally went today and the food didn't disappoint, fabulous really. Service was quick and capable. Great poached eggs, fried chicken, and etc. It was fabulous, honestly if the decor was a little more homey it would be a great regular location for us. read more

Went in for a simple half order of biscuits and gravy with an egg on top. I specifically asked that the eggwhitr NOT be runny at all. Well it was and on top of that there was a measure of eggshell left in the egg also. The waitress was gracious enough not to charge me for the egg but still, how hard is it to cook 1 egg so the white isn't runny and there are no eggshells in it? I have been here several times over the years, pre covid to now in their new location, and the food has been consistently underwhelming or undercooked/cold. I've given them so many chances because I wanted to like it. Just went again reluctantly for lunch because my coworkers wanted to go. The breakfast potatoes were undercooked, almost a little raw tasting, avocado was bad (they informed me after I told them the avocado was rock hard that there was an issue with that shipment of avocados), they did remove a couple $ from the bill which was nice, but it kind of ruined the whole point of a California Benedict....I would have ordered something else had I known before. To me it's not worth the money. I'm sure I'll get dragged here again someday by my coworkers because the location is close to work. My friends both ordered sandwiches and they liked them, so maybe those are better than the breakfast. One time I did order a lunch sandwich and it was good, no complaints there. Food was okay but service was awful, the server took my friends ID trying to say it was a fake when in reality she is 24. Wouldn't recommend so someone who's wanted to get scrutinized for looking young. Wasn't very friendly to us having a baby as well so wouldn't recommend it to anyone with children. read more

The food is inconsistent at best. I've had burnt potatoes multiple times and potatoes that were practically mashed potatoes. Their Benedicts are dry. I think they put exactly one tablespoon of hollandaise sauce on them. People love this place for their champagne flights (not my thing). I don't enjoy starting my day with alcohol. The gravy had grisly fat pieces of bacon, it wasn't cooked down to crispy bits before being added to their gravy which was bland and undersalted. The biscuits werent fresh. Never could get a table. Be prepared for a long wait and really bad acoustics. Very loud space. We were told the wait would be 45 mins, fair enough. They finally called for our table 90 mins later. It was busy due to a couple large tables - we got sat quickly being just 2 of us even though there was a list with a couple other two-somes that were waiting (via text) to be notified of their table. I'm glad this place exists. I don't go here often but it's always good when I do. I took my dad and uncle here when they were in town for breakfast. My dad hates "fancy shit" so when he saw that they didn't have hash browns he started to get pissed and wanted to leave. The waitress informed us that they were serving lunch soon and could order lunch if we wanted. He looked at the burgers and saw that they are served on ciabatta buns. He'd recently discovered ciabatta and now was mildly obsessed. He got excited..."ciabatta buns?! I'll have one of them burgers!" All three of us ordered the same exact thing. Came in on a Tuesday afternoon (1-21-2020) and since last time I've been in there the place has gotten a face lift! Seating is a little bit to close for someone with claustrophobia. I had such a great experience this time around and I'm glad I gave this place a second shot! Service/Ambience: Our server was nice and she was very helpful on recommending items on the menu! She made sure to come check up on our table plenty of times! :) The ambience in this place is very relaxing the establishment plays a very nice music station over the speakers. Also the establishment very clean and well maintained! Food: Ordered a BLT, nothing too complicated my bacon was crispy just how I like it and the bread had a good mayo/bread ratio. The coffee was great! Also order a half order of biscuits and gravy, the gravy wasn't my favorite (is there such a thing as sweet gravy?) but the biscuit was nice and fluffy, very delicious!
