We were in the area and someone recommended this place for a bite to eat. We came in without a reservation and they were able to seat us right away. The vibe is chill, relaxed, and elevated. We were blown away at all the different gins they have and the cocktails they make with them! We ordered a few drinks and some food, we were impressed with both! If you haven't been here, add this place to your list!

I loved the previous iteration in this space (Salve Osteria). However, I think The Gin Room is even better. I have a personal preference for middle Eastern food and for meats and vegetables over carbs. Every dish was perfect and if they were located closer to home, I would be a regular. Waitstaff are friendly and professional.

I love the vibe of this place. Drinks are top notch. Tonight I sampled the eggplant appetizer. It was fabulous as was the cocktail. Wait staff is knowledgeable of the entire menu.

Great drinks and food! Service is amazing. All of the drinks are delicious and the server explains everything perfectly. The restaurant is cute and the patio on a nice night is fabulous. Head here for a fun time!

The Gin Room is the best place to get amazing food and such crafty but delicious gin cocktails. I personally love gin and a place designated for it, down the road from me, was a dream come true. The people are always so welcoming and friendly - workers and other customers. Our server was incredibly informative and nice- she had great suggestions. The patio was so lovely to sit on and have an amazing gin old fashioned and some smaller bites. Their drinks are unique and as a craft cocktail maker/bartender myself, the ideas are so cool, tasty and well executed. Natasha is such an intelligent and talented human, she truly knows what she's doing here. I also have been to the amaro tasting class she had awhile back and it was so fun and educational. Saint Louis is lucky to have a great place like this.

A friend recommended this place and we had to try it...so glad we did! So many different gin cocktails it was hard to choose, but each tried two different drinks and all were delish! Really enjoyed all the food we shared too. We're going back in a few days and brining friends!! If you haven't been there, what are you waiting for??

I gotta be honest, the cocktails are still very good here, but the service is no where near what it use to be. A friend and I stopped by for Happy Hour before attending a Earth Day event near by. We were seated at the bar and after looking at the main menu, we had to request a HH menu. It was as if they did not want us to order from that menu. If you're there before 5 PM, ask for the HH menu, the variety and pricing is well worth it. My friend enjoy a Dirty Mini -Tini and I had my favorite cocktail, a Manhattan from that special HH menu and they were stellar. We also share a small Meat and Cheese Plate for grazing. I wanted a second drink, so I tried a, Dry Rye Gin Old Fashioned and it was outstanding. It was smooth and totally refreshing. I am a huge fan of a traditional Old Fashioned and this one made with Gin was a nice twist. I'm taking a star away, because of their service. There was minimal interaction with the staff. When we wanted to order, we had to get their attention. The staff, while we were there seemed to be more interested in talking to each other at the end of the bar instead of attending to their guest.

Have you ever met Natasha? She's gotta be the nicest, most welcoming, and gracious restaurant owner in the world! Anytime we walk in, we're met with smiles and hugs and questions of how we're doing! It's almost like you're walking into Natasha's house. I've been going to The Gin Room for a minute and we frequented Cafe Natasha (Salve) in college (2001-2005). I just aged myself. Also Natasha. What a bad ass. Do you understand what she's done for the Midwest Gin Scene? It's incredible! She offers over 300 types of gin at her establishment and throws "Ginworld" a huge gin exhibition every year in St. Louis! We recently attended one of Natasha's pop-up collaborations with Saigon Café and Mixed By Eddie. It was incredible. Thank you for those amazing veggie spring rolls. Can't wait for more popup collaborations! Excited for this.

Absolutely top notch dinner experience with fantastic Italian food, amazingly fine-crafted cocktails, a seemingly limitless supply of gin options, and great servers! We came here before a concert. Reservations were easy to book ahead of time. We were promptly seated and greeted by a very friendly staff member and eventually the waitress. Received excellent advice on the drink options which were plentiful. A couple staff members and a waiter were at our table many times throughout the evening making us feel well attended to and welcomed! A couple people at our table are not huge gin fans, however, the server and the owner provided some excellent advice on different drinks that we ended up enjoying thoroughly. Be sure and ask for suggestions! What we drank and ate: - makati district Negroni (4.5/5): This was one of the best Negroni I've ever had! - aviator (4.5/5): nailed it! - Lucano amaro: (4/5): this was a really nice amaro! - Cynar amaro "sour" (5/5): ask for an Amaro sour, which is Amaro, shaken with ice, lemon, and simple syrup. It really opens up the flavors and taste amazing! - Burrata appetizer (4/5): Fresh, tasty, absolutely yummy! - fried green tomatoes (5/5): this was a special appetizer, and it was absolutely amazing! These are the best fried green tomatoes that I've had sense I have moved to St. Louis from Virginia. - basil tagliatelle (4.5/5): very fresh pasta, tasty sauce, cook perfectly. Added the garlic shrimp, which was also amazing! - Beef cheek ravioli (5/5): this just taste exquisite! Very flavorful sauce, with raviolis that were executed perfectly. - scallops (5/5): these were cooked masterfully . The risotto was the bomb! - tiramisu (4/5) The atmosphere of the gin bar and the restaurant was very laid-back, but elegant in its own way. It is not a very large place, but there are many tables giving it a bit of a cozy feeling.

Nestled on Grand Avenue, it's classy and cozy with the most comfy seating. The owner Natasha even introduced herself to me. I've been stepping outside my comfort zone with trying more gin based drinks and here is the place to be for palatable gin cocktails with visual appeal.

Burrata salad and seasonal Sloe gin cocktails

We came for the gin, and fell in love with the food! Every single thing we ordered was exquisite! We both enjoyed some amazing seasonal gin cocktails, then Sean our waiter recommended the burrata salad which was so far and above any burrata I have had - the perfect summer salad with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and basil foam with little crispy Parmesan bits on the top! Then the meatballs and agnolotti were insanely good, and finally the pork chop with the figs, (!) braised fennel, hen of the woods mushroom and cider sauce. And our absolute favorite was the cannoli cheesecake which had a caramelized sugar crust- light and fluffy and amazing! Would go every day if we could. And the patio was so romantic - and GM was so gracious. Loved this place.

'ssippi is a new(ish) wine bar set towards the western end of the collection of bars, restaurants, and shops that are the heart of the strip. The inside has a large wrap about bar and some limited seating. There is a very good selection of wine and mixed drinks and an okay selection of beer. The prices are reasonable. There is a very limited food menu which largely consists of snacks rather than proper entrees. So this is a great pre/post drink spot rather than somewhere you would spend an evening. The bartenders were fine. Nothing stood out either in a good or bad way. The mixed drink my wife had was very good. The orange wine I had was good, a bit on the dry side but overall no complaints from either of us. Without a highlight of the spot is the large patio. It is mostly taken up by large bench style seating. So you have to be okay sitting next to strangers. I actually enjoy these types of settings and I ended up chatting up the group to our right. There are a couple tables but they are few and far between. There are some overhead canopies and lights, and there was a nice vibe and energy. I was there and it was crowded. I really enjoyed it. Just two additional things to note. The bathroom line was very long. It must only be one stall. The entire time I was there it was a dozen people deep. The only other downside is that my wife and I felt old. The vibe on a late(ish) Saturday night was mainly 20 year olds. If I was in grad school or a recent graduate I would absolutely adore this place. Even if your 30s this probably is a good vibe. Once you hit 40 though you may feel a bit out of place on busy nights (or it will make you feel young again!)

I tried the Pretty in Pink cocktail, which was well-balanced and enjoyable, though the pour felt a bit light for a martini. Normally one martini gives me a slight buzz, but that wasn't the case here. Surprisingly, it still worked. I ordered the Good Burger, and it was honestly one of the most flavorful smash burgers I've ever had. I was genuinely impressed. I got the sauce on the side since it also came with the onion rings, and unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of it -- it was a bit runny and lacked flavor. My friend ordered the vegan burger and absolutely loved it. The inside of the restaurant was cute and had a great atmosphere, though there was an unusual smell indoors, so I was very thankful we were able to grab one of the outdoor tables.
