I still smell like garlic a week later after stepping foot in here (this is a good thing in my eyes). The food was great, vodka sauce was 10/10 large portions. this meatball was insane as well - apparently didn't taste that good but I didn't try it. mostly funny to look at. fast service, we easily were sat with a table of 10 on a saturday night. The inside is so cute and cozy, I love all the decor and dried garlic everywhere. I'd go back!

If you don't know about the restaurant scene in Killington, there are just a handful of places, especially for families. This place opens at 5pm but ppl stared lining up at 4:30 so get there early to avoid a long wait (an hour wait is normal). Our party of eight was able to be seated on our second try since we waited before the door opened. For starter they offered the warm bread with roasted garlic spread, which they are known for. Appetizers are no surprise and nothing spectacular. I saw many ppl opt for the clams. We liked the fried cheese, had better calamari so skip, instead get one of their salad. Entrée portion were smaller than I remembered, nonetheless they were delicious and the pasta were fulfilling. no need to get the desert here just grab some Ben & Jerry cherry Garcia.

The Killington area doesn't have many options for restaurants so there are longer waits but we were lucky to be sat within the hour. Immediately upon walking in, you can just smell the garlic and see it everywhere! Overall, it was a great experience and pretty decent for a local restaurant.

This place was so fun to eat at! Everything is decorated garlic and the food was tasty. We got the bread and garlic (you literally get garlic cloves and squeeze it on to make your own garlic bread) and it was so yummy! I got the scallop and shrimp scampi which was so so good. Not pictured are my friends' dishes which was the chicken Alfredo and pasta vodka! The server was so kind! Only downside was that it was dark near our table.

From the moment we walked in the door, the aroma of garlic hit my nostrils and there was only more garlic from there! And I'm not mad about it! We arrived at 5:10 on a Saturday night during ski season and holy cow this place was already super busy with a line out the door. It took them some time to get everyone seated but the process was friendly and fair. We ended up sitting in the bar area. Our server was super attentive and fast! We got the eggplant tower (AMAZING fried eggplant with spinach leaves, tomato and balsamic glaze), escargot en croute (which were like little bombs of garlic flavor) and a chicken Marsala which came with the most perfectly garlic mashed potatoes. Oh and also the roasted garlic and baguette was a great starter. Basically it lived up to my very high garlic standards and we loved it. I'll definitely come back!

What a great restaurant! Very nice and intimate restaurant. The bread you get when you sit down is TO DIE FOR! We got the spinach artichoke dip and chicken picatta and everything was 10/10. My own qualm is that it is pretty dark in there. Other than that, service was great, drinks and food were spectacular.

This place is....confusing. It claims to be a tapas and martini bar but it seemed more like a weird old school Italian place. I wouldn't call anything on the menu "tapas" per se. The place is dimly lit with braided garlic hanging from all the walls and weird wax drip sculptures here and there? They start you off with French bread with whole heads of roasted garlic. While the idea is decent, the execution could be improved. Roasted garlic served in the paper with no salt just isn't the best flavor-wise. I tried the shrimp and scallop scampi but asked for penne instead of linguine. The first time they brought it with linguine, but pretty quickly replaced it with penne at my request. It seriously lacked salt and was overall bland. There were abut 6 medium shrimp (cooked well) and 3 bay scallops (no sear, just poached and on the small side). Other people in our group got the eggplant parm (which they reported was very good), chicken parm (reported it was decent), linguine with clam sauce (they liked it) and the kids ordered penne with butter and meatballs (but it came with linguine instead). So basically 4 out 9 orders had the wrong pasta and even when I asked the waiter to fix mine, it didn't click to him that the 3 kids didn't get the penne they ordered.

The food was great but what really stood out was their incredible display of garlic. Nice bar to get drinks at while waiting for your table. Friendly service who helped us decide on apps and understand the history of the chicken pitcher. Not really a tapas restaurant. More so appetizers and entres. Would recommend and come back! Good ambiance.

Love "The Garlic" for its dark moody ambience. It's a great spot to relax after a day on the slopes. We had a great dining experience on a Tuesday night - entrees such as grilled lamb, Chicken Florentine, and the Penne a la Vodka were all delicious and on-point. The special house red wine - an Italian - was outstanding! The service was a bit on the casual side, but still professional. We decided to return the following evening for dinner, but unfortunately Garlic's encore performance didn't hit the right notes. The service was lackadaisical, and some of the food came out cold and/or undercooked. We'll likely give The Garlic another try for our 2025 Vermont vacation.

Ambiance is immaculate, the pure aroma of the restaurant immediately lets you know whatever they're cooking is going to be good. Great variety of tapas options & best of all was our bartender David. He will clear the bar for you immediately, he is super attentive, fast and friendly. Best espresso martini I've had in a while. Great spot; I will be back!

Great service, awesome food, and unique interior design! Very good food here; pasta is paired with elevated flavors. Definitely check this place out if you like pasta, garlic, and Italian!

Misleading service, no hostess at the main entrance. Wasn't even able to be seated. Don't waste your time.

Nice decor, friendly server, and good food. The garlic appetizer that comes with the bread is very interesting and unique.

If you are looking for a classy night out in Northville, this is it. Good wine, craft beer, and a…read morevaried selection of small plates are what is on the menu. It is only open Friday and Saturday evenings, so plan accordingly. The inn is beautiful and the current owners have put a wonderful patio out in the lawn which overlooks the lake and the bridge. Some tables are interspersed with the more casual option of Adirondack chairs (how apropos!) and side tables. It is a very charming setting! The small plates are a somewhat odd assortment (Asian noodles and Mediterranean flatbread pizza?) and everything we ate was good but not necessarily great. But let me lay it out there for you: the dining options in this region are extremely limited! This is the only place for miles and miles attempting to do something sophisticated and they are probably smart to keep it simple and accessible.

We stayed at the Inn at the Bridge for 2 nights and had dinner at Lulu's both nights. After the…read morefirst night, it was a very easy decision to come back for more. Night 1 - sat outside with great view of Lake Sacandaga in every direction, ordered: steamed clams, fish tacos, fish cakes, a delicious eggplant dish, a hanger steak, side salads, and flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. Night 2 - sat in beautiful dining room, ordered: cheese board with Charcuterie, a gourmet salad, quesedilla and seafood stew. Again, everything was amazing. The owners are also wonderful. Seems like a great place to hold an event as well. Great craft beer selection, wine, and gourmet coffee. Can't wait to go back for more!

Memorable for all the wrong reasons and added to one other anniversary dinner, as a sad experience. We started out with the olive and flatbread appetizer. Massive plate of olives with a "tapenade" on the plate that basically was the same olives poorly smashed up and added to the plate. The accompanying flatbread was stale and subpar quality of bread. This dish could be easily fixed by adding in some roasted red peppers and feta. They could easily go up the street to Saratoga Olive Oil company and get a quality oil and balsamic to drizzle on this mess. Otherwise all there is a plate of bitter olives and stale bread. For dinner we ordered the Salmon with mashed sweet potatoes and Brussels. The salmon was just okay. The Brussels were horribly done you could tell they were boiled first and then broiled but clearly boiled too long. Both the Brussels and mashed sweet potatoes lacked flavor of any kind, just bland. We ate the salmon and left the rest. Lastly, we ordered the trio of eggplant. The menu description is more exciting than the sad reality of this plate. When you say trio you would think 3 distinct flavors, however, what you get is just one hot mess of a plate. The eggplant pieces are cut entirely too thick. The eggplant is NOT fried and barely cooked at all. I can't even begin to figure out how they cooked that eggplant. Undercooked eggplant is a cringey experience anywhere! The sauce on the plate is really what sent me over the edge! It tasted like the sauce from the can of spaghetti O's from childhood. Instantly took me back to eating spaghetti O's. Needless to say we didn't dare ask for dessert. After spending over $135 bucks for that mess we couldn't get out of there fast enough. First time I left an anniversary dinner still hungry!

That said, I think it's totally fair to bring a restaurant's wine list into the conversation when talking about a place where "Tapas" is in the name of the business itself. While I have nothing against a short wine list, there was only one Spanish wine on the list of whites. There are were two on the reds. With prices hovering around $30 a bottle, the wines were modestly priced. However, none of the vintages were included on the list, which made me concerned. But when our bottle of Albariño arrived, it was thankfully a current vintage. I've never had a waiter cast doubt on my wine selection before, so that was new to me. He thought we might be happier with a red. However, he wasn't privy to the food we were going to order. White was definitely the right call for the night. We were there as the first snow of the season began to fall. So maybe that's why the place was understaffed. The news really likes to hype up snow fall. Perhaps the best thing we ordered was the guacamole, which was billed as being prepared at the table. However, last Thursday ours was not. The waiter did make a display of chopping at the bowl with the serving spoon as he walked it over to our table. But that's not quite the same thing. Still, that was the best thing we had to eat that night. The company was great, and I actually enjoyed the more relaxed pacing of the meal. Although my suggestion to the waiter about the order in which we would like to food to arrive was rebuffed. He told us, to let him know what we wanted to eat, and he'd take care of the rest. In the end, that worked out fine. Minus the hiccups of dropping off the wrong food at the table, twice. Well, and the food being mostly satisfactory, if unremarkable. Beyond the guacamole, there isn't really anything I would order again. Maybe we ordered wrong? Perhaps it was a mistake to go for Spanish dishes at a Mexican restaurant. I really don't know. All told, the four of us ordered six dishes, a bottle of wine, and split a flan. We all left feeling sated, and enjoyed our night out. The whole experience came to just over thirty bucks per person, including tax and tip. Which isn't bad. Especially since the waiter treated three of us to tequila shooters, which also included a bit of sprite and coffee liqueur. I abstained, since I'm not the best at driving in heavy snow on unplowed roads. Still, it was a lovely gesture.
