Oh boy these Ribs are perfectly falling off the bone juicy, savory with a wonderful hint of cherry. Pineapple carrot cake melted in your mouth, definitely don't skip dessert! Lobster hush puppies perfect to sop up the extra sauce. Corn cob missed the mark, mushy texture should have gone with a different side. Quick friendly service. Great location downtown Egg Harbor.

Hubby and I had dinner here tonight. First, easy to get in for the two of us on a Monday night as the busy season is winding down. Reservation recommended if coming with a group larger than 4 during the busy season. The chef is from New Orleans, and does a great job combining creole southern flavors with midwest fare. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice, quiet ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was great- friendly, quick service, knowledgeable on the menu and provided good recommendations. We also had the chocolate peanut butter cake-- but ate it before i could snap a pic!

Our first visit since they re-opened and moved a door or two down from their previous location. Food is still great! We went on a Sunday night after a 3:30 Packers game, so there were likely a few more people than usual showing up at the same time. There is a bar seating area and a bit more sedate dining area. Both are very casual. For this visit I got the Butternut Squash Ravioli, and my wife got the Shrimp and Grits that came with 7 shrimp. Both were fantastic...bold flavors and so, so, good. Service was OK; very enthusiastic, but a bit uneven when it came to timing. Overall, very good and glad they're back open regularly.

Everything we had were amazingly delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the amount we got. Started out with cheese curds very crispy outside and the Wasabi ranch sauce gave it a nice kick. The soup of the day was Chicken and vegetables. It was very filling and great to warm up as it is getting cooler at night in the fall season. Ended with the French onion braised meatloaf. It was stacked high with onion strings on top, next mashed potatoes, on top of meatloaf. There were pieces of breads all around that later soaked up the French onion soup. The meatloaf just fell apart very easily and melted in your mouth. My friends had the butternut squash ravioli. It is a lighter dish compared to the meatloaf. Fits very well with the fall season.

My wife and I were camping near Egg Harbor and walked by and saw some intriguing things on the menu, and it looked like a nice place, so we decided to stop back for dinner Monday night. We had a couple of nice drinks at the bar prior to being seated. The bartender and the owner chatted with us and were very friendly and helpful. We learned that the chef; her husband, was from New Orleans which explained some of the menu items. We shared an order of lasagna soup, which was creamy and delicious. I had the shrimp and cheese grits, which were awesome. My wife had the siracha salmon and risotto with asparagus and loved it. We ended with beignets; with sides of chocolate sauce and berry sauce for dipping. One order was 3 large beignets and they were better than the ones I had in New Orleans. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a great time, our meals were excellent and everyone we spoke to was very friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely going back to try some of the other items.

Everything about this place was amazing. From the service, to the food and the atmosphere. You get your moneys worth of food, taste was on point, great conversation from the servers who were very knowledgeable and friendly. They made my daughter and grandchildren feel seen. I appreciated this. The owner/chef is an awesome person as well. I say this because experience has proven, that happy employees are the result of exemplary leadership. Meeting him and watching how he stepped in to help serve showed that he cared about his people and this says a lot.

We came on a Monday to this fantastic restaurant. We were greeted and spoke to the Chef's wife (both are owners) and their daughter was our server. All were charming, helpful and informative. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We opted to sit outside since it was so nice out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a very nice wine list with options for all. We started with the wildberry and feta salad. one of the best in my life. So well balanced and delicious. I had the shrimp and grits and my friend had the camel bolognese. yes thats right - camel. It tastes life beef and was delicious. The raviolis served with it were light and amazing. From start to finish a great meal and experience. This place is the real deal so give it a try.

Drinks were good and the food was good for the most part. Hush puppies were dark on the outside almost overcooked. Shrimp and grits had really good flavor. I don't love shrimp all mixed in with the tails on and they were slightly over done. My husband had the lemon chicken with Risotto this was probably the least favorite but still good. He had a couple crunchy risotto and a really strong sweet taste. Prices were reasonable and staff were super friendly!

I would definitely not go here with children. We made our reservation for 5:30, arrived at 5:15 per the restaurant and didn't actually eat until well after 6:00. We also ordered the option for the white fish boil (the kids meal and the adult option (as I was planning to share with my 9 month old) - both the kids meal and my meal were still Cajun. I'm guessing the actual Cajun option would have been spicier, but I could not share with my 9 month old and my 6 year old also struggled to eat her meal due to the spice level. I even confirmed on the phone prior to arriving due to some of the reviews I have seen about similar issues. The alcohol options were limited and overall for the price this meal was not worth it. I truly wanted to love and share a cool experience with my family and went away extremely disappointed

Sooo... I really wanted to love this place…read more We made a day trip to Door County and had a long list of restaurants to choose from. After reading countless reviews, we picked this one as our #1 dinner choice because it seemed to have great vibes and a beautiful outdoor garden overlooking Lake Michigan. The setting absolutely lived up to the hype, and that alone earns it a star. We arrived a little early for our reservation and decided to grab a drink at the bar. My mom simply asked if they had any watermelon or pineapple seltzers, and instead of answering, the bartender just handed her a drink menu and walked away. It was a small interaction, but it came across as dismissive, so we decided not to order drinks. We were seated shortly after in a wonderful spot in the garden. We had our dog with us, and it was the perfect outdoor setting for her to relax while we enjoyed dinner. Our server was pleasant, but she didn't seem very attentive or able to read the table. We started with the Brussels sprouts, which were delicious and probably the highlight of the meal. We know this restaurant is especially known for its whitefish and lobster boil. After tasting our meals, my mother said she wished she had ordered the whitefish since we'd heard such amazing things about it. Unfortunately, when it became obvious that we weren't enjoying our food, our server never asked if something was wrong or if we'd like to try something else. The crab Rangoon dip was just okay. The lobster bisque was completely flavorless--the worst lobster bisque I've ever had, and I order it whenever it's on a menu. The sage butter gnocchi was equally bland and lacked any real flavor. My mom ordered the ribeye, and she said it tasted more like a sirloin and was totally overcooked. It lacked the rich flavor you'd expect from a ribeye and had quite a bit of fat. She only ate a few bites before giving most of it to the dog. The vegetables (I believe asparagus or broccolini) weren't good, and the au gratin potatoes were equally disappointing. The only real win was my son's chicken tenders. He's an extremely picky eater, and he genuinely enjoyed them. What disappointed us most was how the situation was handled. When our server checked back, she asked how everything was, and we replied, "It's alright." Later, when she saw that our plates were still mostly full and asked if we wanted boxes, we said no. That would have been the perfect opportunity to ask if something was wrong or if there was anything they could do. Instead, the conversation ended there and the check was placed on the table. At that point, we just wanted to leave. Between the underwhelming service, the bland food, and the high prices, the experience simply wasn't worth it. We left feeling incredibly disappointed, annoyed and hungry. It's unfortunate because the location and atmosphere are beautiful, and we truly wanted this restaurant to be a highlight of our trip. Sadly, if we make it back to Baileys Harbor, we won't be returning.

Two of us got Beef Wellington which they are known for. Both of us who ordered this have had it several times in the past at other restaurants. We both started eating it and we looked at each other and realized neither one of us liked the nasty taste of it. We both had a few more bits and tried to like because it cost so much. We both felt kind of sick and it just laid in our stomachs. Our waiter felt bad and talked to the manager who gave us a percentage off but because we gave most our meal back and really were not feeling good we did not want to try anything else. So my son talked to the manager who was not easy to talk to and asked for the two meals to be removed from our bill. He insinuated we were just trying to get a free meal which was not the case. Instead of apologizing for how we felt he would rather accuse us instead of making things right. First time to try this place and will not be going back because of the attitude of the manager. The place is huge, and has 4 distinct dining areas and a capacity of 400 guests. The 4 areas include the popular and extensive patio area, a lower dining room by their bar, a large upper main dining room, and another upper level dining area (where we sat) with a view of the patio. Corinne was our friendly, attentive, and capable veteran server with 17 years experience here. Wife ordered their breaded grouper with mashed potatoes. It went for $39.95 and included a traditional French onion soup without cheese. I had their queen sized prime rib for $44.95 and it included a cherry spinach salad and rice pilaf. It was a nice medium rare as expected and it was all delicious and filling for both the wife and myself. The dishes were quite good values when considering the portion sizes and the quality of the mains and the sides. I also had a delightful Wisconsin Old Fashioned for a very reasonable $8.25! Apparently they also offer a Wisconsin Old Fashioned with a premium brandy that goes for $13.50, but the $8.25 version was delicious and plenty good enough for me and it packed a punch too btw. It really wasn't that busy for a Saturday night and the food came out readily. It felt like throughout our visit this weekend that vacation traffic was not at expected summer peaks and the pro-tip in theory here is that the first weekend in June is typically not as busy as school has just let out and families aren't in vacation swing just yet. We really enjoyed the quaint and colorful venue along with the good value dinner and I would not hesitate to return except that there are so many other restaurants to try up here!
