Absolutely loved everything about this place. It has been quite some time I visited, but the last time I was here, all the Food and Drinks we ordered tasted great. Service was fast enough even though the place was packed when we were there. Staff were very polite and helpful and made us feel welcome. Everything we ordered tasted good, but I especially loved their Clams, it was cooked to perfection and tasted awesome, and it still remains the best clams that I have tasted so far. They also have some Brunch Specials that you can try. Definitely recommend for a Date or Dinner with Family and Friends.

Food, ambiance, and device was amazing. The weather was on point tonight so we ate outside! Such an amazing experience! Our waitress, Bianca, was amazing!

I had a fantastic experience at their original location in Livingston so I was very excited to try their new location in Jersey City. Located adjacent to the water with scenic views. Upscale steakhouse decor. Similar to my original experience, the food was delicious. Steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The sides, including mac and cheese and smashed potatoes, were also delicious. The calamari was nicely fried and not too salty. The garlic bread was quite under salted but when we added salt, was quite tasty. The main reason for the lower rating is because of the service. Drinks were well made, but our first round took about 40 minutes to come out. We had almost finished the appetizers when the drinks finally arrived. Then the steaks took forever to come out - well over an hour. We ordered medium rare steaks so it shouldn't have taken more than 10 minutes to cook. The place was rather empty (surprising for a Friday night) with plenty of staff members so not sure why the order took so long. When the steaks finally did arrive, we had to clear the table ourselves to make space for the food. No one came to collect our drink glasses despite asking if we wanted another drink. The service was so slow we didn't even bother to risk dessert. Overall, this place has real promise if they can get their service together. Otherwise, given the high prices and immense competition in Jersey City, they may struggle.

A Must-Visit Culinary Gem in Downtown Jersey City! We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Jersey City's newest hotspot during its soft opening night, and we're still raving about the entire experience. With breathtaking views of the marina as the backdrop, this restaurant delivers not just on scenery but also on exceptional food, service, and atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable--special shoutout to our incredible waiter Johnathon, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly made our night memorable. The cocktails were expertly crafted, each one perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor--clearly made by a team that takes pride in mixology. Now onto the food, which was absolutely phenomenal. The sushi blew us away--each roll was a standout, but the Truffle Scallop Roll, The Feathered Roll, and The Foxy Roll were next-level in taste and presentation. Fresh, creative, and unforgettable. We started with a gorgeous spread of appetizers including the Gulf White Shrimp, Daily East & West Coast Oysters, and Broiled Oysters, all impeccably fresh. The Beet Salad was a refreshing, earthy complement to the richness of the seafood. The main dishes were equally outstanding. The Filet Mignon and Prime NY Strip were both cooked to perfection--tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The Peppercorn-Cognac sauce deserves its own spotlight--silky, rich, and the perfect pairing to the steaks. The sides were a highlight all on their own: the Classic Creamed Spinach was comforting and creamy, the Duck Confit Mac and Cheese was decadent and unique, and the Mashed Potato Rings were a brilliant twist--crispy, creamy, and unforgettable. To finish, the desserts were divine. We shared the Meringue Tart, Chocolate Cake, and a few others--each one was the perfect sweet ending to an extraordinary meal. We honestly can't wait to return, and without a doubt, this is now the best restaurant in Jersey City. Whether you're going for a romantic evening, a night out with friends, or simply to indulge in top-tier cuisine, this place delivers in every way. Bravo to the entire team!

A few years in and still going strong. One of the best steakhouse experiences in Northern Jersey and can easily hold its own with any of its NYC compatriots. The fantastic service only adds to an enjoyable time here.

The Feathered Fox is a solid 4.5, but I am giving them a full five because our waitress Amber and the pastry chef Ian made the experience more memorable. Made last minute reservation two hours before on a Saturday night because another restaurant fell through, and they seemed booked online. I then decided to call, and they were able to fit all 6 of us. To start we ordered the Essex roll, Spanish octopus, and broiled oysters. All three delicious, but the broiled oysters were the star of the night. Just perfect. For the entree we ordered a mix of different cuts of steak, the lobster fettuccine carbonara and Barnegat Sea scallops. For the sides we had the duck confit mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, and mashed potato rings (a must get also). Everything was delicious! For dessert we order the bread pudding, cheesecake that comes with pistachio ice cream, and a chocolate cake. When I say the ice cream was the most creamy and flavorful ice cream I have had in a long time. Cons: The sushi was ordered as an app but arrived right before our meal. Food took a while to come out. Scallops were cold in the inside and we were advised we had to asked for the temp to be fully cooked which I have never experience before. But I will still be back because the service and food was absolutely amazing from start to end.

Venue is nice, it's inside a hotel which was not expected. Well decorated and clean with a full bar. The food is okay. Octopus was delicious, sushi was ok at best, filet mignon was good, halibut was ok. The servers kept rushing to retrieve plates - barely had finished my second bite of the bread and the waitress asked if I was done. Everything is served family style which is nice but each course was missing utensils or plates or something.

The Feathered Fox is a fantastic find! Although the restaurant is located right off Route 10, it's definitely easy to miss from the road since it is inside of the Westminster Hotel. Once inside, the decor and ambiance are absolutely wonderful. It's a great place to enjoy cocktails at the bar or a delicious meal in the dining room. The octopus starter was the best octopus I've had outside of my visit to Portugal earlier this year! The portion size is significant and can definitely be enjoyed as an entree. I loved the freshly baked bread that was served before the meal. It was so soft and warm! My scallops dish was also excellent, and if I had room for dessert, I would have absolutely tried the house-made sorbet or pineapple bread budding! Our server, Jesse, was also fantastic! I can't wait to come back for either a dressy night out with friends, special occasion or dinner date!

Came on a Friday night with reservation. Service was friendly and there were plenty of seating. It is located inside a hotel and there was plenty of parking. 1. Feathered roll - Big pieces and a good appetizer. Good quality ingredients also for their sushi. 2. Ribeye - Cooked more on the rawer side even though I ordered medium. Good taste and not overburnt or overpowering. Overall, good to try at least once. Definitely a pricey place.

One of my girlfriends and I came to this location for my PreBirthday outting. We had reservations for 7pm. When I arrived I noticed the place was located inside the Westminster Hotel. I found parking close and walked in. I was greeted by a very nice host, Jim. He lead me to where one of my girlfriends were. Shortly after the manager came to us and asked if we were eating and since we weren't he asked if we could move to the bar area since they had a full house. It was cool so we did. We moved to a table by the bar and Justin was our bartender and he was good. For my first drink I got the cosmopolitan and it was tasty. My friend got the grapefruit mojito and she liked it. My second drink was a lemon martini and that was good. My friend got hungry and ordered the burger and fries. I tasted both and it was pretty good. We definitely had a good time and I enjoyed my PreBirthday.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The vibes, staff, food and cocktails are phenomenal. We had the pleasure of having Amber provide us amazing service. She made great recommendations for our appetizers and dinner. We started off with pigs in a blanket with the most delicious mustard sauce. I got an order of the Barnegat Sea Scallops. If you like scallops, do NOT miss out on this dish. Cooked to perfection! My fiancé got a rib eye. it was cooked perfectly. Last but not least - the cocktails are divine. Their filthy martinis are scrumptious. I ended the night with an espresso martini made to absolute perfection.

While I can't comment on the wine list personally, I know they are well-known for their extensive selection. After placing our order, we were delivered the sesame pizza bianca, which is a complimentary starter bread with dinner. The bread was a nice size and light and airy with a perfect crust and a delicious, crusty sesame seed bottom. The prawns were our starter and came three to a dish. They were sizable, though since they are served with the head and tail, there isn't a ton of meat on them. That said, they were flavorful and juicy with a nice sauce and just the right amount of spice that didn't overwhelm the fish. The snowdance chicken was the star of the show! It was incredibly juicy and tender with perfectly prepared skin, so I was happy to learn they keep this on the menu year-round. It was topped with some spinach that was solid, though nothing special. We also ordered a side of mushrooms which came with a creamy sauce and fish roe intended to be mixed at the table. The roe wasn't fishy at all but added a great element of umami to the flavorful, well-textured mushrooms. Overall, the service was very professional, though I thought the pacing could have been improved as the dishes came out a bit slowly. I would also recommend ordering at least two dishes per person, as the three plates we shared between two people felt like just a touch too little food. I'm already looking forward to going back--I'd try the winter chicories salad or the veal sweetbreads next time, but I'm open to exploring everything since the quality is so high. I noticed a side dish listed on their online menu that wasn't actually offered in person, so it might be worth double-checking if you have your heart set on a specific item.

I made reservations after seeing their special hot chocolate on social media and had a wonderful meal! Started off with the hiramasa which was fresh and went deliciously well with the citrus-y and sweet cara cara orange, as well as the aji peppers! The castelfranco chickory salad was fresh, crunchy, slightly creamy and slightly tangy - basically everything you need in an appetizing salad! Their house sesame bread was fluffy and chewy with a good amount of sesame flavor without having too many seeds. For mains, the farfelle was very interesting and tasty! The pasta was al dente and the sauce was addicting! At first I was wondering if it would resemble a nut butter, but it was creamy with very prominent walnut flavors and interesting texture (perhaps from the blended walnut skin component?). The addition of burrata and other cheeses was perfect for a cheese-lover like me. The pork chop was flavorful, well-seasoned, and juicy. The leek and cabbage mixture soaked up all the sauce and I wish there was more! Their special hot chocolate with an espresso martini marshmallow was fire!!!! Hot chocolate was decadent, not too thick, and not too sweet. The toasted marshmallow melted quickly but definitely had coffee and alcohol flavors. The amount per serving doesn't appear a lot but appropriate considering how rich it is. The mascarpone dessert had a great balance of fluffy cream, extremely crispy phyllo, and crunchy nuts with a touch of chocolate and vanilla! For drinks, I was really curious about the bi lemongrass but they ran out. Staff recommended the semiplume, which felt like a beer, tea, and sparkling wine all at once! Loved the floral aroma and bitter tea notes. My partner's cocktails were also well executed. Staff were nice and friendly. We got seats right by the kitchen so staff often checked in with us, including the chef!! Vibes were intimate with the dim lighting and minimalist decor. Definitely want to come back to check out their chicken and other dishes!!

Closed the night with the ricotta cheesecake -- soft, rich, and honestly one of the few things sweeter than me. Place has the vibe on lock. Decor? Classy. Environment? Smooth. Staff? Incredibly welcoming... like "you sure you don't work here?" level friendly. Perfect spot for a date or a meetup -- trust me, you'll look fancy without even trying. foodieinthebigapple2025
