I was shocked that there's nearly 2000 reviews and I hadn't heard about it but definitely walked by several times. Upon entering, I immediately got school classroom vibes from the decor to the desks used as tables. We went with 3 cupcake options but they have more to choose from and even customizable ones. The Peach Cobbler Cupcake was the Winning Flavor on Food Network's Cupcake Wars! I can see why. The peach purée along with the brown sugar streusel was so good! The Blueberry Cheesecake Cupcake had a delicious cheesecake cream and the blueberries were tart and juicy. The Creme Brûlée Cupcake had a creamy custard and caramelized glaze on top which is exactly what you'd expect from creme brûlée. These cupcakes were some of the best I've ever had! All 3 were made with vanilla cake which I have to say was super moist, not too sweet, and tasted great. Next time, I would try their other cupcake bases or even do a TooGoodToGo order which would give you an even better deal on these!

The most recent time, I got a Ube Buttercake Bar for $4.25, or something very similar. As per the name, it is made with ube, or purple yam, and it has a slight purplish hue. It was just a bit rich, had a soft texture inside, and had a very mild ube flavor with a bit of vanilla. The dessert was decent, but not strong enough of a ube flavor for me to buy it again. Much better was the Brookie I got the first time for $4.50 or so, listed as a blend of their Ooey Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar and Fudge Brownie. I was happy that the chocolate chip part was dark chocolate, and it wasn't overly sweet. Otherwise, it had a nice mix of textures, with some soft and crunchier parts. I liked it a lot more. The prices here are decent enough, and the quality isn't that bad. It's not a place I would go out of my way to go to, but it's nice to be nearby if I want to pick up a snack or something similar. I would probably try a slice of cake, or another bar such as their lemon or dream, next time.

My sister came upon this website because I needed a cake for my "wedding" dinner in NYC. It was literally the find of the century. I had no expectations, I just wanted something that was pretty. The company was so easy to work with, sending confirmations and delivery updates - and the cake tasted incredible! I got the vanilla cake with lemon and raspberry filling and the frosting was delicious. It tasted so fresh, and looked beautiful - got the one with the roses all over it - wanted something classic. I ordered a few cakes for special occasions visiting friends in NYC. The cakes didn't disappoint! The Dulce de Leche was delicious and we really enjoyed the Chocolate w/Hazelnut frosting. The flavors were unique but not so far out there that the kids weren't able to enjoy them. The cake was moist and sweet but not too sweet! The online purchasing process made it easy to do on my own time once the kids were in bed and the deliveries arrived in the timeframe I specified. The cakes were neatly packaged. Our wedding plans had to drastically change due to COVID, so as we moved all our plans to a virtual platform, it was amazing being able to have a small cake to celebrate the day. We wanted a simple but elegant design and Nicolle and team didn't disappoint! They also delivered to western edge of Long Island at a reasonable rate and everything was on time as promised.
