    Nice Outdoor Seating Area

Snowballs are Baltimore must have. They are very simple but not everyone can get it right. If the ice is to chunky or to thin (like shaved ice) ... Then it can throw of the authenticity of the snowball. Also the syrup is really important, you want good flavor, you also want the syrup to be able to " hold on" to the ice. If....... When the ice melts, you want the syrup to still cut through a bit. I know this sounds like a bit much.... But any true Baltimorian has had a horrible rough chunky ice snowball that you have thrown in the trash. And on the flip side..... You've had that perfectly balanced sweet with nice smooth ice snowball. The Snowballs from here are flip side. Also nice flavor choices, but NOT that one with an overwhelming 509 flavors to choose from. They also have other treats, I can't wait to try them.

Came here to try out the halo halo. You can find street parking in the area and it's free. It was $8 without tax and was a pretty good sized serving, definitely share with another person unless you can eat a lot. It doesn't seem like the traditional stuff because it was vanilla soft serve on top instead of ube. Still pretty good though. They had a bunch of toppings like red&green jelly, flan, coconut, this purple jam(?) and jackfruit. I enjoyed it except at the end because the "snow cone" melted together to a block of ice. Probably wouldn't get it again, but it was nice to try. Probably will just get a plain snowball next time. If you want something icy and sweet, I would recommend trying Korean bingsoo; it's usually cheaper, prettier, and you can share between 3-4 people.

I had heard great things about the coffee at Cafe Dear Leon and I thought I'd try something new…read more Why five stars: *Incredible vegan friendly drinks! I ordered a Brazilian Yuzuade with Espresso and a Japanese Cold Brew with Oat Milk. Both were great, the Yuzuade was extremely pleasing. I wasn't expecting much from it (citrus and coffee?) but it was my favorite of the two. *Line moves quick. When I arrived, there was a line out the door. I was able to order in a lot less time than it seemed. *Personable service. The Cafe limits the number of guests inside at one time to six. This allowed the staff to focus their energy on only a few people at a time. I ordered the drinks about an hour a part and the person at the register remembered me and struck up a conversation about my earlier order. Despite the five stars, what don't I like? *No vegan baked goods. I will definitely be returning to Cafe Dear Leon because there is ample parking, the prices are good and the drinks are awesome.

Finally made it to the most talked-about bakery and yes... I stood in line wondering if it was all…read morehype. It wasn't. This place is the real deal. Hands down, the best almond croissant in town. Perfectly flaky with a generous almond filling that tastes rich and authentic. I also tried their Brazilian drink and added matcha to it, and it was incredibly refreshing. Truth be told, I wasn't expecting it to be that good! I ordered the veggie sandwiches too-fresh, delicious, and very filling. I can't wait to come back. The only thing I missed was a place to sit and really savor it. The outdoor seating is limited, and the glass canopy doesn't do much to keep the heat away. So I ended up enjoying my breakfast on the park bench next door... and honestly, it wasn't a bad spot at all. One tip: they're a small-batch bakery with a set menu available during specific hours, so check their timings before you go.
