Luckily, I got there early today so I didn't have to wait. I also knew what I wanted in advance which was helpful because they have like 1000+ combinations, and I'm not exaggerating--the girl behind was saying how she was having analysis paralysis trying to choose. I always opt in for Tigers Blood with marshmallow in the middle! It's literally my obsession and the shaved ice captures all of the syrup juice which is NOT watery at all! They are a little more expensive but honestly ITS worth it! My medium/large I forget was by card $6.36 and I tipped half... I finally decided to treat myself to One Sweet Moment after years of trying to get to them! It was the very first day of fall and it was super warm! I made sure to have cash since they only took cash. It wasn't a long line at all and patrons were patiently waiting for their treats as the lady behind the counter made her preparations. She was the only one working, but she was diligent and nice. I ordered a snowball with bubblegum and cotton candy flavors. It was so refreshing and fresh! I sat and enjoyed my treat in the car. My favorite snowball stand since I was a kid. The flavors are OUTSTANDING, the ice is perfection (you can get shaved or crushed), and the ice to juice (aka syrup) ratio is exceptional. This particular visit I ordered a Large Skylyte extra juicy and it was everything! I don't think I've had a skylyte snowball that tasted this good. I just got charged 28 bucks for 4 large snowballs lord I will not be back! They charge a dam middle fee for putting your French vanilla ice cream in the middle! And if I known it would cost the same amount for a large snowball to put the kids soft serve on top I would have told them no! read more

Overall very good. I was disappointed that when you add marshmallow, they don't mound the ice and syrup over the top of the cup. They flatten it at the level of the rim of the cup. I've never had a snowball place do that before. Very friendly staff. read more

I must have caught them on an off day or maybe I ordered the wrong flavors but there's no way I can say this is the best Snow Ball Stand in Baltimore City. I can't even say it's in the top 3. 4 of us were in my party - none of us thought it was that good. They weren't that flavorful to us. They are never dry and always refreshing. They also have over 100 flavors and will let you try them. Please just don't hold up the damn line. Don't try to test all of them like your at the Liganore wine fest. The flavors I have tried were Sour Apple, Sour Watermelon, Grapefruit and Mojito and they were pretty good. They also have a total of five different sizes ranging from Child size to Jumbo. The snowballs are so worth it. The only challenges is that it is no where to park. So be careful and also bring cash. Great local spot in Hamilton right off of Harford Rd. I have never seen more flavors and combos of snowballs! Around the corner from the Geen onion on Harford, it is a cheap place to cool off on a summer day. You will see a line out to the sidewalk but it moves quickly. Lots of families...kids...solos. My tip is to park in the lot behind Green Onion although technically not supposed to. It's really an old storefront booth of a place that you order from. Cash only. Try blood orange...delicious. Glad place for a snowball! I work near this place and always see a line out the door. They don't have any parking but Harvest Fare is right across the street. You probably can't legally park there but snowballs don't take long! I was supposed to see they have a large selection of flavors and cup sizes so you can definitely get your pick. As far as I'm concerned, these are the best snowballs in Baltimore. We're not talking about gourmet shaved ice with flecks of real fruit or anything of the kind - this is your traditional choice of crushed or shaved ice, a wide variety of artificially flavored (and usually, but not always, artificially colored) syrups, and the ability to add marshmallow fluff and/or cream. For a long time I went with egg custard with cream and marshmallow in the middle, but lately I've been skipping the fancy stuff and going with White Lightning (clear sour lemon) and other flavors like Skylite (blue...well, blue). A few notes: the parking...well, you can pay $1 for parking to one side, but a lot of people park at the Harvest Fare grocery store across the street and just watch to make sure their car isn't towed, because they're not supposed to go to any other businesses. The immediate neighborhood is on its way towards gentrification but there's definitely a mixture of long-time locals and more recent transplants. Also, the nearby Hamilton/Harford Road intersection consistently has beggers looking for money from cars waiting to cross Harford. Cash only, so come prepared with enough for your order, which may not be as cheap as you expect it to be (due to paying with cash) but it really is pretty cheap if you think about it, like $3 for a small and $4.50 for a large - keep in mind that the main cost for them isn't the supplies but the labor and rent, and there's plenty of demand at their prices, so it makes sense that the smalls don't give you great value. The service is good, too; the people who work here are nice so try to tip them if you can. read more

I am totally obsessed with snowballs from One Sweet Moment. Their shaved ice is a bit denser than others I have tried, more like finely ground ice crystals that don't melt too fast, allowing you to enjoy the actual snowball and not end up drinking it like those from other shaved ice stands. They have well over 150 flavors/combinations to choose from but so far my favorites are black cherry, blackberry and egg custard and I usually get the Hershey's french vanilla ice cream added to the bottom of my snowball (it brings back memories of my childhood trips to the snowball stand on Walther Blvd. with my grandmother) but their marshmallow is also delicious. Parking can be tricky and the line long at times but they move very quickly and their system of giving you a numbered ticket when you pay for your purchases keeps things moving smoothly, the longest I have ever waited from start to finish is under 10 minutes - and trust me when I tell you it is worth every second. read more

THIS IS THE SNOWBALL STAND I"VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! I grew up with two great snowball stands around the corner that were basically hubs each summer and permanent set-ups. I live in Rosedale now and it's been impossible to find a good snowball stand. Our go-to shut down and others we've found have either been not good (snowballs out of a seafood shop...just not their specialty) or have pretty limited flavor options. A co-worker told me about this spot and I can't believe I didn't know about it sooner! HUGE selection of flavors (like, HUGE, and there are combinations and options for chocolate and flavor mixes). You can also choose between shaved ice and the traditional coarse ice. I also like that if you want marshmellow you can pay a little less for a tinier serving. I find that I spend a little more here than at other stands b/c they have kind of in-between sizes, so I always get the slightly larger one. Usually a line because it's so good. And it works out of a townhouse, so it's not like the usual shed that you have no idea if it will open next summer or not. Great spot! read more
