Always enjoy this place. Good food and live music. What else could you ask for. Love the atmosphere.

I took a friend to lunch there, and we loved the ambience and excellent service. The environment was nice for visiting as we looked out the big windows at all the beautiful peacocks and the stream running through the property. Our meal was delicious and I can hardly wait to take my husband there next. read more

Worst Service I've Ever Had in Lubbock We had 8:30 PM reservations and were seated promptly, but that's where the positives ended. Our server, Natalie, took our order and then disappeared until it was time for the check. She asked me why my margarita flight and appetizers were removed from the ticket maybe because we never received them! You'd think a waitress would notice that. I ordered the prime rib, which was dry and flavorless absolutely subpar. There are far better places in Lubbock for a decent steak. On top of that, I got the wrong side and had to flag someone else down since Natalie was nowhere to be found our entire dinner. What they brought out were soaked mashed potatoes sitting in au jus with no quality. When she finally came back, she apologized and said they had run out of baked potatoes but no one ever bothered to ask if I wanted something else. When I asked why she said kitchen is a mess and they just told her no bake potatoes till she brought the check when I had to ask for check. Overall, the service was inattentive, the food disappointing, and the experience not worth the price. I'd recommend skipping this place altogether until they seriously improve their service and communication. read more

Party of 10 last night. Lots of misses. Greeters. 3 teenagers in baggy wrinkled clothes. Another in pj bottoms w hoodie. All Needing a scrub. 2. Dont offer bread when its cold. Hard. If cannot do signature bread take Off menu. 3. Ordered 2 queso skillets. Cold. Like poured cheese from can into skillet add salsa on top. 4. Menu states fresh fish flown in daily. 2 of us had salmon. Not. More like frozen walmart squares. No sauce. Not butter, garlic, dill, lemon. No tarter. Semi warm. And too fishy for my niece to eat. 5. 2 men ordered fajitas. Meat stringy. Tough. Good flavor just tough. And one ordered Combo got double beef. 6. 6 had mashed potatoes for side. Portion large. Cold. None of them ate the potatoes. 7. Okra. Soggy 8. 3 had steaks. All satisfied w meats. Flavor. 9. a pasta w creamy sauce. Cold. 10. Shrimp grits. Not tasty. My friends were treating all for granddaughters 18 and just did not want cause scene. Our server Vanessa? Pretty girl, glasses was great. Sat in bar area. Rez at 5. Good service. Just very underwhelming food. And finally. Add lighting in parking lot. Too dark as leave restaurant to parking. read more

So- first, the location is nice; out in the "country," peacocks walking around, little pond to look at, super job on outdoor ambience. The inside is rustic, dated, but homey. The food is average. We started with the chips and salsa/guacamole. No matter where we order chips, we always devour them; unfortunately here, we let the waitress pick them back up without hardly making a dent. They were EXTREMELY SALTY... like, wowza... unbearable. As for entrees, my husband got the chicken fry, which he said was good, and I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. The salad was fresh, but the chicken was over cooked and extremely dry. It was advertised as having cornbread croutons (which I was excited about), but none came on it ‍ Overall, glad we finally tried it, but not sure we will drive back out. read more

Amazing food! But the Strawberry Chilton was my favorite drink ever! Disappointed that the patio was full when I arrived, however, I did walk around outside after my dinner and it's a beautiful property. Steak was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Green beans were very unique and delicious. Deviled eggs and baked potato were loaded with brisket and tasted great! read more

We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding and we were over the moon for this location. The event staff were great to work with and responsive, especially as we were making plans from out of town. Very unique place as you can dine with peacocks!! I really appreciated that this restaurant has a separate menu for special diets like vegan/vegetarian. Pretty much a substitute for all the variety they offer. Service was good our waitress was training and she was attentive and figured out our questions as necessary. read more

Best food ever Childrens menu taste like an adult meal so good the Texas ranger is so good brisket was so tender definitely coming back

Location was great with peacocks running around with nice water features and a patio deck areas outside. Inside was rustic with a steakhouse feel. Brisket deviled eggs were mid but the spinach artichoke dip was pretty good. Mom had the smoked prime rib that was fairly tender but fatty and heavily smoked, i had a pretty small chicken fried steak that was fairly good. Both of our baked potatoes were more steamed and disappointing. Her salad was minimally stocked with vegetables, all iceberg lettuce. Our waitress was very nice but apologized for the meals that seemed to be some of the last ones coming from the kitchen after the rush and not really impressive. read more

food was good but it came out in like 40 minutes or so. I enjoyed sitting outside but both outside and inside are nice. overall would recommend i assume i went on a bad night so there were a few mixups. also very cool peacocks they were in the front and outside in the trees. read more

Food was very good, split the bbque plate with extra meat and shared it. Young lady who waited on us (sorry, forgot her name) was very attentive, suggested a few items, one being the green chili cream corn(was excellent actually) and was very personable. If you are near this area, I suggest you try it out. If you are camping at Lubbock RV park, it's very close and worth the drive over to grab a meal. Pretty location. They had a keyboard playing that evening which was a nice touch. Enjoy. read more

Ordered chips and salsa.. chips taste old and like they had been reheated over and over. I ordered the BBQ platter, way to salty, dry no flavor. Kid ordered the pozole, she got a plate full of hominy that tasted like beans from a crock pot. I also ordered a house margarita , not good at all. Atmosphere is beautiful outside, service was slow, young girl was to busy talking with her friends. Worse birthday dinner of my life. read more

STOP!!!! great food, outstanding service! A bit hard to find...look for a lake and park like setting. Go West off Hwy no matter what GPS says. Leah gave top notch service. The layout, patio and peacock birds to watch make this a nice escape from norm at Lubbock. Portions are large. Menu has large selection. Friendly service made this a nice lunch visit and we had similar in past for dinner. I can see this is nice venue for events. I wish the food was higher end but this is a middle of the road type of place for anyone to be comfortable eating. read more

What a wonderful little town with wonderful artistic paintings. The food here was fantastic. I also had two old fashions which happened to be the best I've had. Our waitress and manager was so sweet and helped with food choices as my wife and son are gluten-free. Thank you so much! read more

This place is simply amazing. We were greated in the parking lot by one of the peacocks. We had reservations and so we were seated after walking in the door. The staff was very friendly and attentive (even with it being graduation weekend). Appetizer we got the bread basket and Texas deviled eggs. The Chile cornbread was so moist and sweet. The Texas deviled eggs were amazing! I think I could do half a dozen and call it a meal My wife got the chicken fried steak. It takes up most of the large oval plate. It had super crispy breading with a very tender steak. She couldn't eat half of it, good thing they have Togo boxes. I had the BBQ platter. The turkey was a bit of miss for me, it didn't seem to have captured the smoke as much as I would expect. The sliced brisket made up for it. A nice smoke ring around the most tender, juicy brisket around. Atmosphere=10+ I don't think I could eat on the patio. I'd be too distracted by peacocks walking around. Service=9 it got real loud when all the big groups finally arrived. But the staff was amazing! Price =10 it was better than you might expect. It was a great place for our anniversary. read more

The Furrs tribute night was chaotic to say the least. We were there over 45 minutes before even getting a drink. They also ran out of several of the few items they offered. Why is this place empty?? My husband and I were the ONLY ones in here at dinner time. It's a beautiful location. Large Peacocks to enjoy the sight of right outside the window. The service was quick, polite and friendly. The cornbread and rolls in the bread basket were warm, soft and moist. I ordered the Cajun pasta. Large portion. Took some home. Delicious and my husband got chicken fried steak. Large helping of mashed potatoes and corn. Delish. Well fried. Hot and crispy. AND reasonably priced?? GET. HERE. read more

Recall years ago when this was County Line BBQ??? The setting is amazing and gets three stars. Maybe I'm missing it and the restaurant had an off night but the bar stock was out of many items listed in their regular drink menu, at least four beers and one tequila. Also the service out of kitchen wasn't great. Order missing items or delayed and varying quality. menu high points Great deviled eggs see picture. Very good. Great mashed potato and 3 oz lobster tail on special of day Great baked potato Menu low points Whatever the green beans were swimming in reminded me of brown gravy and too salty Steaks were over cooked just a tad from what was ordered but of high quality so they were edible. Cookie skillet would have been ok if there was a little more cookie in it and when delivered, told kitchen ran out of chocolate drizzle. It reminded me of a cookie dough ice cream. We seldom travel to Lubbock but I'll find other dining locations in future and wanted this to work out given the outdoor experience it offers. read more

Great experience both times we have been lately! Their salmon is some of the only wild salmon in town and they cook it perfectly! Our service was great and we love the atmosphere. I would love to see more vegetable options including a sweet potato. They normally cook their veggies in oil but they did say they would cook my broccoli in butter and not oil, which I appreciated! read more

Traveling through Lubbock and wanted to try the barbecue here. This place did not disappoint! Great food; Great atmosphere; Great service from Alexa; Great weather so we could sit outside and listen to great music live. Ribs were really good and the pecan pie was spectacular. We must have lucked out with our timing. I heard the word "reservation" a lot and we didn't have one but got seated outside right away. I'm guessing that Texas Tech having an away game helped out. read more
