We sat inside the first two times and noticed that indoors, especially in the rear of the restaurant, is a bit chilly for me, so we sat outside on our last visit. Some restaurants we have visited have slower service when seated outside, but not here. The outdoor seating is on the front porch of the restaurant and is super quaint. The food is amazing. One visit I did ask our server if the fries were supposed to be cooked this way, as I held up a fry and it flopped over. She said no, and had a new batch fired up and they were perfect! We had the Kobe burger and the red fish special. The last time we shared the burger again, it was that good, and the special which was osso buco. Best dish I have had in a very long time from anywhere! I wish it were on their regular menu. I do wish their selection of desserts was broader or that they would switch the dessert menu up, but my waistline is much better for it! lol. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Street parking is limited,…read morebut there's a large parking lot less than a block away that's shared by surrounding businesses. Housed in a renovated home, Graze has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, with plenty of characters. The place is pretty packed for Friday lunch time. We started with a few appetizers. Shi Tuna Wonton (4.5/5), Foie Gras Meatballs (3/5 - meatballs are good, but the BBQ glaze is a little too sweet for my taste), Fried Brussel Sprouts (3.5/5 - good flavor, but wish they'd been cooked a little crispier). For the main, we both got the Kobe burger and substituted the regular fries with Tikka Masala fries. The burger was excellent, the tikka masala was solid, however the fries were a bit soft from the sauce. For drinks, I wasn't a fan of the Social Butterfly mocktail, but the Jaded & Confused cocktail was very good. Overall, we had a lovely lunch, I can definitely see why it's popular!

We know exceptional hospitality when we experience it, and we absolutely know a GOOD drink when we FEEL it. And Bonfire delivers on all three--every single time. Everything about this restaurant is a 10/10 for us. What makes it even more special is that every time we visit, we receive the exact same level of service, food, drinks, and hospitality. Chef Joe is incredibly passionate about what comes out of his kitchen, and he'll personally come out to greet you and make sure you're having an amazing experience. From owner Tracy, to the General Manager, bartenders, the BEST server ever--Christian--and the entire staff, everyone makes you feel genuinely welcomed. And I have to give a special shoutout to my favorite bartender, who makes a Carajillo Old Fashioned like NO OTHER! I could go on and on, but I don't want to leave anyone out because this entire team is phenomenal. And let me tell you--the Chef's Table is by far the best table in the house! Watching these guys work that line with such precision, rhythm, and teamwork is honestly rewarding and refreshing. You get dinner AND a show! If you haven't been to Bonfire, you are seriously missing out on one of Tomball's finest. Locally owned, locally operated, incredible food, incredible drinks, and hospitality that keeps us coming back. Bonfire is a GEM--and we're lucky to have it right here in Tomball!

Sadly I must update my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. Why? Obviously the original chef has left…read moreand the quality of food preparation has declined. As this is basic Spanish food cooking technique is paramount and current chef clearly does not understand/have skills. The gazpacho was recently overly thick and creamy (more bread and olive oil) and was lacking fresh vibrant vegetable flavor. Plus it wasn't as chilled in past (did they originally use a little bit of ice during pureeing? And now stopped). The paella was a total mess. It arrived soupy with a quarter inch of liquid still in bottom of pan. While not "overcooked " to mushy. The rice was well past al dente. Obviously achieving socarrat was impossible. While yellow it was lacking ANY distinct saffron flavor that it used to have. I also did not notice any threads- have they now gone to powdered saffron and cut back on amount too???? The Torta San Sebastian was still "very good" but it's crust was overcooked and gummy. TBH, it really wasn't that bad and normally I wouldn't comment but given above complaints I feel it is part of a trend. We have been coming here about 4X per year. Will still come back to try Tapas, but again their basic Spanish Tapas require a deft cooking technique- so we'll see how those go. Oh well, As George Harrison wrote in 1970 "All Things Must Pass" This is not an uncommon trend in Mom & Pop places - once successful, staff get hired to replace overworked family and quality deteriorates I kept it at 3 stars because food wasn't terrible nor inedible. Just nothing special. Poorly made average American version of European classics. I am also holding out hope that it gets better- I have to believe other regulars have commented (or did they just quietly stop coming? Which is the worse)

I re-asked several different ways and finally got what I was looking for! We waited about 5 minutes. We ordered a drink at the bar and then got sat. Once sat, our waitress acknowledged us about 3-5 minutes later. We ordered 2 waters, a coke and cheese sticks. The coke came first. The cheese sticks about 5 minutes later, then the water about 10 minutes later. Our waitress stopped by before the water got there to see if we were ready to order. We didn't even have water yet! The place was pretty busy. Our waitress just struggled to keep up with her tables. There was another waitress who was more experienced that jumped in and helped us. We finally were able to order our dinner. The cook, or someone, came out to tell us they were out of the cut of meat we ordered. This was a disappointment because we were here to celebrate my other half's birthday. So it wasn't off to a great start. We picked something else and by the time we got our food, it was cold. (Can you hear the heavy sigh?) The manager offered to take care of my meal, but I'm not about getting a free meal. I ended up letting him give us a discount.
