    Margherita Pizza
    Michari L.

Came to Bonfire Grill for lunch with my boss and coworker, and since I rarely make my way to the Tomball area, this was my first time here--and wow, what an introduction. They had been hyping the food, and I'll admit... the hype was very real. Let's talk about the margherita pizza. I've had a lot of margherita pizzas, and none of them come close to this one. I don't know if it's the sauce, the cheese, the basil, the dough--or the magic of all four together--but every bite was perfection. Easily a 10/10 and officially in my top 10 margherita pizzas ever. The only reason I didn't give it five stars yet? I need to come back and explore more of the menu--especially now that work will have me in Tomball more often. But trust me, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Start with the margherita pizza... you can thank me later.

We love this place and was so surprised to see the low rating. Pizzas are incredible EVERY TIME. Happy hour is also great. This place should be a regular stop for everyone local.

We were looking for a good place for lunch. We happened upon Bonfire. Well this place is fantastic. The Deviled Eggs are amazing, creamy and delicious. The Brussel Sprouts are fabulous with a great flavor. Wife had the meatball appetizer. This is one great meatball in a delicious gravy. The Ruben is on spot and one of the best I ever had. We staying nearby will be back. The wood fire pizza looks spectacular!

Place was amazing. From the food, to the cocktail and wine selection. I got the lamb shank, chachutterie board and the bonfire signature cocktail. Wife got the bolognese. Both dishes well prepared. Jamie was our waiter and was friend and knowledgeable with plenty of recommendations. We will be back. The only downfall is we tried to call ahead and set a reservation but they were too busy to answer the phone. When we arrived, we were told no seats available, only patio seating, and we needed to make a reservation to sit inside. Welp, I tried... I guess the fix is call multiple times or days in advance. Understandable with a small staff and a busy restaurant. Small issue but they worked it out immediately to accommodate. Thanks!

I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! I rarely if ever eat fried food - so clearly this was my big day to completely go off my standard fare, but those fries had the perfect crunch and flavor. Apparently, when my husband made our resv, he told them it was my birthday, so our server brought out a delightful complimentary spiced cake dessert after we were finished eating - for us to share. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Thank you to the entire staff at The Chefs Table yesterday, for helping to create a memorable and delicious birthday feast for my husband and me. We will definitely be back to try some other delights because the menu is packed full of amazing looking dishes.

I ordered the smaller portion of the BBQ chicken salad and I still felt like it was huge. I had to have my husband help finish it! The spinach dip is some of the best we've tried and that's saying a lot as this is usually our go to appetizer for most places. I'm not a tuna fan, so I didn't try my husband's meal, but he was happy with it. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area to just come and chill at the bar. It's very spacious and the restaurant has such a cool vibe. I've never had anything to eat here that I didn't like. Their drink selection is vast, especially if you're into beer. They have Angry Orchard on draft (my favorite) and that's hard to find in a restaurant. This is a great place to grab a drink before going out for the night, but it's also a great place to be your sole destination!

First, it's a freaking shopping strip with trash parking. That's the only complaint...oh and pretty warm inside but we are in the Texas heat. However - the food and experience was impeccable!! We got the bluefin tuna tostadas (10/10), Grilled Octopus & bone marrow (10/10), potato & queso empanada with caviar and crème fraiche (8/10), peach & burrata (9.5/10) as the appetizers and I can confidently say I was already blown away. Then we got the Wagyu Carne Asada (10/10), Duck two ways (9/10) and the Street corn agnolotti (8/10). Nothing was bad. it was all so good and I now see why there's so much recognition around this place. The service was great, the ambiance was unassuming, the food was perfection, and lowkey - I'm going back in the fall for next season's menu. Kudos to this place bc holy shit. Parking was expected to be an issue as the lot is shared with other businesses in the center, but was not an issue for an early evening Saturday. But parking can be an issue at times, I was told. The restaurant is small with only tables and maybe 4-5 seats at the small bar. We arrived about 15 minutes before our 6:45pm reservation and had to wait due to no available tables, but that was not a showstopper. The noise level was moderate throughout our stay such that one could easily carry on a conversation with table mates without having to scream. Almost all patrons were nicely dressed. Since this is a Michelin acknowledged restaurant two years in a row, we were expecting uniqueness and we were not disappointed. That said, food was very good, but I would not rate it as spectacular. The blue fin tuna tostados were delightful and hands down the best dish we had. Ceviche mixto was excellent with a just a hint of heat. I would order these two appetizer dishes again. Main courses consisted of duck 2 ways, redfish with green mole and risotto, spring cavatelli, and grilled shrimp & pork belly. All were delicious and uniquely tasty with the exception of the duck. Mind you, I really like duck and the sliced portions were excellent and perfectly seasoned and moist, but the pate-like accompaniment was not that good, plus the mole sauce was not what I was expecting. Table sides of Brussels sprouts and fried cauliflower were good but nothing special. The Eton Mess with strawberries was simply delicious. Would I go back? Maybe, but not anytime soon.
