Mr. Hari brought French wine making skills to Montgomery and is committed to making his juice in Southeast Texas, one of the most difficult areas to grow and produce wine in a subtropical and erratic climate. They tried but the overall experience was mot good at all. Food was really bad and service was inconsistent and lacking in any real professionalism. Seemed like really inexperienced people trying to run a restaurant. The only redeeming quality is that they were nice people but need help to be a real restaurant. read more

Yes for wine, not for Easter Brunch Met friends here for Easter Brunch. Not much on the brunch buffet. Bacon , sausage and lamb chop nothing fresh or fresh and fresh exciting. Omelets and crepe to order but all orders were messed up. Glad for the company and Rose. read more

H Wines was a great place to sample both local and international wines. The staff was friendly and helpful. They customized a wine tasting for us to only include Chardonnays. The building is around 100 years old with some original interior such as the bank vault and other items. Prices can vary depending on your taste and budget. This place started out as one of our favorites in the Montgomery area. Steve & Phillipe are great host and really know their French wine for sure. Love the style of the old bank building they are in. I would give them 5 stars!! Sadly they loose start because of the owner though. Be sure to keep track of what you drink because you can't check your receipt ahead of time. We had a few glasses of wine and were taking a bottle home but got charged for two bottles by the owner. The owner gave me attitude about even asking to check my tab, so when I did get it I just signed it and we left. Wasn't worth the trip to go back and get it taken care of. read more

This winery is located in historic Montgomery and the building is an old bank. The place is full of history and still has the original vault, safe as well as a couple of other items (like bullet holes!) from a bank robbery like100 years ago... The service is exceptional and they have a great variety of wines. Wines can be purchased by the glass, or by the bottle. The staff is always willing to give a recommendations according to your taste and also willing to give you a small tour of the place and a history lesson! It's a very quaint place with great vibes, great drinks, and amazing staff. I definitely recommend you stop by for a drink if you're in the area. read more

Warm and cozy atmosphere with a really nice selection of wines. Some wines are made by Steve and he is happy to help you make selections! The building itself is a bank building with a vault still inside. Steve is excited to share the very interesting history of the bank-especially of one of the last bank robberies from the early 1900s. In addition to the wine selections, there is a wine club available at different price points. There is also a wine and dinner pairing on Wednesday nights-reservations required.
