Fun times.. Atmosphere is great.. Drinks are a bit expensive and I don't care for the food. But would go back in a big group

Food is just ok. Not terrible but not great either. I popped in with an out of town friend for an early dinner; about 4:30 pm on a weekday. The waitress threw some menus at us and after we ordered we were orphaned until the food came while she yacked it up with the bartender. Following she never came back until check close and we were the only people there at the time. Disappointing. Would have had better customer service at the Whataburger around the corner. read more

Let's start with the important thing: great beer selection. This place is aptly named, and they still have a huge selection of canned/bottled beers if you don't see a draft brew that you like. Something for everyone. Their lunch menu prices are shockingly low, which nicely offsets buying a pricey craft beer. I would give one more star if there were some comfortable seating or arranging that promoted staying a while and chatting with friends. This place is pretty much one large, long room. Some room dividers and booths would help. Just a plus, for a bar, the bathroom was very clean. :) read more

The service was not good at all. Very rushed and didn't listen. I asked what the soup was. She said there is 3-4 they rotate. Didn't go and see what it was. Gyro is not lamb. It's like fajita beef. It was horrible. Fried pickles were decent. That's about all I can say positive. read more

Fantastic to have a sports bar in Kingwood with great burgers - try the double pork - so freakin juicy and full of bacon, pulled pork- one of the best! The bar tender makes me special drinks not on the menu and is interested in them. I appreciate that. Been showed undue respect from all bar tenders there. I thank them for that wholly. The waitress have alwayz gone out of their way to be super friendly to me too and, Im usually here alone for work or with a colleague. Bartenders are quick! The Bhan Mi's and Parish Ghosting Machines are a wonderful thing and there is a iTunes music player. Bring your own smokes if your gonna want one after a buzz. I felt welcome here, to have a few drinks or go overboard a tad. Its never been anything but ordinary for me but its what I expect here. The make up of this bar is quiet groups of civilized peeps who just got off work or well to do college kids~ when I've been. A better cliental socioeconomically than other bars in Kingwood 4 sure~when I've been. I give it 5 stars because its nice. Also its great that this place has so many IPA's. read more

Went last night. to start the parking lot is very tiny and a VERY tight fit. walked in and was bombarded by the loud noise. The music is so loud everybody is talking extremely loud to be heard over it. with all the hard surfaces and no ceiling tiles it just reverberates! Waitress was right there to get our drink order. I ordered Deep Eddy's ruby red vodka and soda. I get Plain Deep Eddy's with grapefruit juice and sprite. I get it the waitress doesn't know the liquor line up but the bartender? come on... first if you don't have my call liquor inform the waitress so I can make another choice (and educate her at the same time as what you DO have) just don't make up some drink and send it out. If your bartender doesn't know your liquor line up then you have some serious trouble in training right there, and if your "bartender" doesn't know what soda is that's a major red flag! I had to educate the waitress that "soda" is NOT sprite in bar speak. Now on to your paper menus (which have scene way better days!) I ordered the Frito pie with "Texas" chili. No way no how is that Texas chili! Texas chili is called a bowl of red for a reason. The chili was not even pink let alone red! the flavor was bland, I added some of the salsa from our chicharrons and that helped to give it some flavor. I know you have only been opened a few weeks but you should hire experienced staff for at least bar-tending and cooking! also all of a sudden we have to have our id's scanned because they are in Montgomery county...... ok well we drink at Los Cucos, Union Kitchen, and Texas Roadhouse (all in Montgomery county and just across the side street from them) and have NEVER had to have our ID's scanned. Arrived on 7/26/15 at 130 pm. The bar was occupied, so we grabbed a table, which there was no other guests at tables. The server saw us and ignored us. We finally approached the bartender who immediately gave us the proper attention. Then the server decided to greet, really. No thanks now. They were out of mixed vegetables, so the bartender said anything else on the menu i could have on him, soi asked for onion rings which were great, then got the bill and he charged me??? I wished the Draft had been around when I lived in Kingwood! I moved closer into town about three years ago, but I still go and see my Dr. at the Berkeley Eye Center. Old habits are hard to break. I needed gas and stopped at the nearby Chevron. Got hungry and went next door for a cold beer and some wings. To start, the staff was very gracious. I decided to get the potato-bacon soup. Granted it was a 100-plus degrees outside, but every bite of this hearty soup was "slap ya mama" delicious. I topped it off with fried wings -- something every bar has these days, but these were perfectly crisped, golden. As for old habits... they sometimes take you to where you least expected, and I'll definitely be en route to the Draft next time I need new glasses. read more

Pretty disappointed. The name draft led me to assume that there would be plenty of microbrews on draft. The large part of the list has a binch of mainstream beers. I am a fan of dark beers and the best offering they had was New Castle (they had another that was out). Pretty spendy for what they have ($9.50 22oz Angry Orchard). Food was pretty good. I was expecting to be underwhelmed, and while the decor does leave something to be desired (there's only so much you can do with a strip mall)...WOW the food is good. We had the wings and philly steak sandwich. Both were amazingly delicious. Definitely coming back. read more

Great place, lots of beer choices, friendly, helpful service. The food was pretty good, not great. I had a burger and chili. The chili was typical, nothing special; and the burger was super overcooked. It's just a personal preference, but I actually don't really like super thick meat on burgers. I actually like the same amount of meat flattened and spread out more...easier to eat that way and tastes better. We'll be back, but probably more for beer and snacks. read more

This place still has some work to do with decor and service but it has more than enough TVs and beers on tap to become a successful, local sports bar especially once football season starts. I couldn't tell you what the food tasted like because the manager felt it was ok for one person to hold a table for six for over FOUR hours while he waited for his friends to show up. We asked for him to relocate him to a smaller table so we could sit we were told no. He choose to let this ONE guy run this table instead of serve a party of 10. Needless to say we went elsewhere but I feel sorry for that waitress. She's the one that got the short end of the stick last night. read more

So we finally decided to stop by and try The Draft. Loved the variety of beers on tap! Cold glasses, great environment, friendly customers. My husband and I ordered burgers as well. They were average to good. We enjoyed the appetizers a heck of a lot more. So next time it's beer and appetizers only. Aside from 1 minor annoyance, we enjoyed ourselves and had a relaxing time. Our waitress was definitely not the friendly type at all. Not a single greeting or offer to order another round for us. She cleared our table of salt, pepper, mustard, and ketchup while we were still eating! Lol! Seriously! What better way to tell a customer to leave than that? She was def prompt with the check, so yeah, there's that. This isn't a whole staff problem (yet), we could see the female working the bar was super friendly and very customer oriented. I liked this place okay until my last visit. The service was not bad, however, they kept my ID and my credit card for my tab. When I left, I forgot them both behind the bar. I realized this immediately and turned around and drove back. When I walked back in they said they gave both my credit card AND my drivers license to a guy that was sitting with us at the bar. This guy told them he knew us, however, I had just met him there that day. Recovering my stuff turned out to be an all night ordeal. That accompanied with the fear that a random person was out there with my ID and my COMPANY credit card made my experience horrible. When we finally tracked down the guy and threatened him with law enforcement until he returned my things, I walked in to get them and the manager mumbled sorry and laughed about the "mix up". I will NEVER return here again. The best part of all of this was, I was at lunch with my boss and she was paying, so there was NO need for them to have taken either of the cards in the first place. I know they just opened but really? 4-5 video games and 2 dart boards..TONS of TV's ..ask where are your pool tables or shuffleboard tables? don't have them not enough room. ( move out about 5-8 table and chairs out till you get busier!!!) just a hint. The bar is dark, they have a ton of beer taps on the wall but who can see them? ( get a spot light on them!! advertise what you have!) Went there for the first time during their "soft" opening. This place has a lot of potential to be an EXCELLENT spot. Kingwood definitely needs a nice, fun sports bar. We were not impressed with the general manager and his lack professionalism and interaction with the staff. Huge turn off. It would have been nice to see the owners, given that fact it was the second day of opening, they should have been there overseeing the operations. Our server was not attentive to us at all and they were not busy. They are family friendly, that is a big plus for us! So, my first impression was not great. We are going to be returning tonight to give it a second try. Hopefully, the service will be better. It would be nice for the servers to have a little more beer knowledge given the fact they have a decent craft beer selection (hopefully they will branch out from just Faust and Silver Eagle). We are very hopeful that they are successful with the craft beer but it is imperative that the servers can educate customers on the different styles of beer. We wish them the best of luck and hope to be regular customers once the operations are running smooth. read more
