A few of the ice cream options

Dolly Llama is tucked in the corner in the Fountains Way plaza. There's quite a few restaurants in the area so it's the perfect dessert or snack spot when you need to fulfill any sweet tooth cravings. We tried the Llama Gone Nuts waffle (vanilla ice cream, peanut butter sauce, almonds and bananas) which was a very generously-sized portion - enough for my husband and I to share. It was only when we were almost done that we realized the almonds were missing. My teen devoured her Build Your Own Waffle which was filled to the brim with fresh strawberries, strawberry ice cream and whipped cream & topped with powdered sugar. Next time, the Bubble Waffle Jr may be the better option for her as she didn't quite finish her regular sized waffle despite her extreme fondness for all things sweet. Staff at Dolly Llama were very welcoming & friendly from greeting us when we arrived to thanking us when we left. It's also very nicely decorated for the holidays. Loved the HUGE ice cream themed tree.

What a fun and yummy place! The place is bright and getting all dolled up for the Christmas/Holiday season. You order at the counter. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They gave us the run down on how to make our own creation or chose one of the signature items. Our order took a little time to come out as each item (especially the bubble waffles) was carefully made freshly. Everything was delightful. Both Bubble and liege waffles alike. I adored the ube ice cream. Our whole crew of 6 were happy campers after this sweet treat. 100% recommend and 100% coming back!

I've been wanting to visit a Dolly Llama Waffle Master store for quite some time, so when I was finally in the area of one today, I dove in and visited with my toddler son. The shop is currently decked out in Halloween gear, including a giant skeleton. While my son was frightened (he's an easy scare), the decorations were pretty cool and make it stand out from your average strip mall dessert shop. I ordered a Sugar 'n Spice Liege waffle, which is topped with horchata ice cream, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, caramel sauce, Biscoff cookies, and whipped cream. This was $10, which while on the pricier side, is what I expect to pay for a fancy, quality dessert. The ice cream was the highlight of the dish, as it was pleasantly sweet and creamy. There was probably more cereal than there needed to be. For me, just a few pieces would be enough, especially with the far superior Biscoff cookies that are included. Unfortunately, the waffle was just not what I was expecting. The waffle was premade and heated up a bit before serving not enough to be crisp or all that warm. My first (and best) experience with dessert Liege waffles was in Pittsburgh, where each waffle was made fresh to order. Obviously that takes more time, but the waffle tastes so much better as a result. If Dolly Llama's waffles were made fresh to order, that would up the experience and make it worth the price. I really, really wanted to love Dolly Llama's waffles, but today was not the day for that revelation. If I visit again, I'd likely go for just ice cream and an extra-toasted waffle. If the waffle and ice cream are good, everything else is really just a distraction.

Y-u-m-m-y....! Stopped in for the yelp event and was so happy to find it and try it. The store was easy to find, ample parking, super clean upon entering, and the bathroom was spotless. It's the little things for me. Service was top notch, such kind staff so friendly and accommodating. The ice cream was soo good. I chose the flavor Ube it tasted like coconut, but to my surprise it was made with Taro Root! Crazy I would never think of that for ice cream, but I am glad they did. I will definitely be back to get another scoop of ube. Waffles were warm and so light, fluffy, and a perfect addition to the dessert. If you are near the area stop in for a wonderfully made waffle, amazing ice cream flavors, and OUTSTANDING customer service.

We've been trying to get to the Dolly Llama for a sweet treat and finally made it tonight. Talk about indulgence. I love that there is ample parking because you know places like these are going to be busy. He went in and day were quick to greet us. The place is extremely clean and well lit. They have lots of different options and it comes to bar Falls and ice cream so we decided to do a little bit of both. We got the Horchata ice cream in a bubble waffle And a regular maple waffle my favorite was the regular waffle because it was almost cake-like in texture. Both were delicious. The service was quick and there's plenty of seating if you decide to stick around.

The Dolly Llama Stacy and Anthony Lightning ripped apart the dark grey and black sky with blinding bolts of white light. A hot fluorescent web of electric energy followed by the atmospheric crashing of the sky collapsing on itself. Thunder clapped like the applause of a thousand Scottish gods at the Highland games. In nearly whiteout raining conditions idiots drove with their hazard lights on. We've all done it. Nobody wants to get their ass smashed by a Semi if they can help it. Through the 7empest I emerged like Moses and the Israelites beyond Pharaoh at the Red Sea . Into the car park it was time for a spooky sweet safe haven. I'd never heard of the Dolly Llama until franchise owner Stacy Searcy and husband Anthony paid me a visit thanks to some reviews here. She left a few waffle treats for the staff so I decided to pay her a visit. Her store is located off I-95 at 210 immediately off the interstate in the same plaza as Tikka Bowls and Tacos , Grumpy's, Jax Spice and Dapper D's Cigars. I actually had an intentional spicy lunch at Tikka Bowls to enhance my sweets saga. That review is coming... The Dolly Llama is the ultimate mixed indulgence of ice cream waffles , coffees and shakes . Stacy described in detail the nature of the different waffles, the arrangements of cones, shakes and scoops and made several personal recommendations. I prefer to order right off the menu but occasionally make some substitutions. I ordered a variety of items snd posted up next to what must have been an Avatar Navi skeleton. This thing was 12' tall. The whole store was spooked out in Halloween deco. She made each item fresh for me as a family of four entered and then she helped them. For a small child this place must have seemed magical . It's been years since I've enjoyed anything as much as I enjoyed my visit to the Dolly Llama. Childhood nostalgia or even post adolescent visits to Gatlinburg where everything is novel. The experience was so gratifying and worth sharing since this type of dessert restaurant has several competing concepts tirelessly reviewed and praised and criticized here. I found the Dolly Llama to be exceptional in quality, presentation, price and atmosphere and I applaud Stacy for operating a true dessert destination for all to enjoy. Keep an eye out for future stores as she's bought rights to additional stores from Palm Coast up along the First Coast east of the river. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100091508182058&mibextid=haYZDX -- eating dessert with Stacy Searcy at The Dolly Llama.

We missed the Grand Opening (yesterday) but we are so glad we decided to stop by and check out the newest location of the Dolly Llama. The employees were very friendly and also very informative. The three of us all decided to go with the Dolly's Dream which was a great choice! The Bubble Waffles were served warm in a cone-type holder. Inside was the ice cream you had chosen (in my case, Cookie Monster) and slices of strawberry, chunks of fresh fudgy brownie and whipped cream. Decadent! The Cookie Monster ice cream was a cookies and cream base with a nice swirl of chocolate chip cookie dough. We all enjoyed our choices and we will definitely be back again!

Stopped in to The Dolly Llama today for the first time while in St. Augustine. The owner Stacey is so sweet and welcoming! I ordered a milkshake and my mom and aunt both ordered waffles with ice cream and some different toppings! Everything was delicious!! They have TONS of options to choose from... From ice cream to toppings! The waffles are made to order so they are hot and fresh when handed to you. We really enjoyed our afternoon here and can't wait to come back when we are back in town! My aunt who lives a few minutes away is already planning on coming back with her husband.

Greeted us with friendly workers upon entering the store. Servers explained to us thoroughly the different combinations of treats they offer and even offer us samples of the ice cream flavors they offer. The creation we ordered was beautifully made and very picturesque. The ice cream and the waffle were so good with the combination of warm and cold. Would definitely like to come back and try more of their treats.

Took my kids to The Dolly Llama ice cream and waffles shop off 210 recently...WOW!! Tons of options, and different things you won't see other places. My selection was this warm waffle with cold ice cream, and toppings galore. Absolutely worth a visit - picture worthy and so delish!!!

This place has the best waffle ice cream I have ever had. If you are lactose intolerant like me I will recommend the vegan peanut butter. The ambiance is very family friend with enough space for a big size family.

We stopped by to check this new place and it did not disappoint! The service staff was friendly and they helped us understand all the options. Great ambiance and very clean. The food was incredible, the bubble waffles with ice cream are absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend trying this place out!

My BIL got his usual brewed cup of Joe black and said it was great. The service is fast and friendly. And the place is immaculate. It's got a very chill atmosphere with a comfy couch and chairs where you can sit and enjoy your coffee and scroll on your phone to research the origins of the business. At least that's what I usually do...I'm endlessly curious and interested. I thought PMCH might have been a franchise like so many other businesses popping up in the area. I was wrong. To my surprise and pleasure, Pour Mike's Coffee House is locally owned (St. Augustine residents) and that particular day, Mike and his wife (the owners) were actually there amongst their customers. Mike asked us how we liked the coffee. And we let him know we definitely enjoyed it. It's nice to see business owners interacting with their customers. I love seeing that and really appreciate it. They have plenty of Pour Mike's Coffee House merchandise for sale, Mayday Icecream available for purchase and they seem to offer a mix of local goodies to help and support other area businesses. From the moment we walked in, the space felt clean, bright, and welcoming, with a simple Mediterranean style that made it comfortable to dine in. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going, both dining in and picking up takeout, which immediately told us this place has built a loyal following. The food is where The Great Greek really shines. We started with the four dip combo, and honestly, that alone is worth the visit. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor without being heavy. The tirokafteri had a bold kick that built just enough heat to keep things interesting. Paired with plenty of warm, soft pita, it is an easy dish to share and one we would happily order every time. For our main dishes, I ordered the gyro, which I often use as a benchmark when trying a Greek restaurant. The meat was flavorful, the pita was fresh, and the tzatziki sauce really stood out, tying everything together beautifully. The feta fries were another highlight and were hard to stop eating. Susan ordered the Atlantic salmon, and it ended up being the biggest surprise of the meal. It was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and paired with sides that complemented the fish rather than overpowering it. Portion sizes are generous, pricing feels very fair for the quality and amount of food, and service was friendly and efficient throughout our visit. Even though this is a counter service restaurant, staff brought the food to the table and checked in to make sure everything was just right. We even left with leftovers and dessert to enjoy later, which is always a good sign. What we thought would be a quick meal turned into a really enjoyable dining experience. This is a restaurant we will absolutely be returning to and one we are happy to recommend to anyone looking for great Greek food done well.
