I recently had Kilwin's ice cream for the first time and I was by no means whatsoever disappointed. This ice cream is awesome. It was creamy. It was delicious. There were tons of flavors to choose from. The staff was kind and friendly. In addition to ice cream, they had all different types of fudge and little pastries and stuff. All in all it is a great experience. What I also loved was that they made me a fresh waffle bowl and it was warm. I've never had a waffle bowl that was freshly made and warm and crunchy and delicious. Hats off to all the people working at Kilwin's for making that delicious waffle bowl. I absolutely loved it. I think you should try it out and I will be back soon to try even more ice cream. read more

All roads finally led back home but off othe new Beachwalk homes in St Johns county is the triple threat, ice cream, candy and fudge. I went for then first option, ICECREAM. There were so many choice but I selected mint chocolate chip. It was oh so food. I had it in a waffle cone. It melted right in my miuth. My cone stayed the course, the icream dripped on my clothes once. No one else wanted icream so to the sexond window I wnet. The worker was upbeat and handed me the waffle cone as she said, Have a Nice day! I will and thank you Kilwins for my decadent waffle cone! read more

I wish I would have taken photos!! Such friendly staff and a really big space with lots of seating inside and outside! They also have a drive thru which is awesome! They have a ton of options for chocolate flavored items/candy/ice cream and fudge! My husband got the rice crispy treat covered in caramel and white chocolate and loved it! We also got some chocolate covered Oreos/pretzels! But the star for me was the chocolate covered peanut butter with rice crispies in it! That was divine! Kilwins opened recently in St.Johns. It's conveniently located in a strip of shops popping up near The Beachwalk community. Upon entering the place it looked so festive for Halloween. So naturally I was excited to try the pumpkin ice cream. Kilwins will give you a taste of whatever you like. I wasn't really a fan of the pumpkin but I did taste the coffee flavor & thought it was delicious. I had a sugar cone of it topped with chocolate sprinkles. I also purchased some cute Halloween themed chocolates for some family to go. Kilwins has an extensive showcase of every kind of chocolate you could want. Not only is it nice to have a quality ice cream shop closer to home but the fact that there's a drive through?! Yes, please. Kilwin's has a good variety of flavors and a classic churned mouthfeel. My husband loves their waffle cones, especially because they're pressed at the bottom to reduce dropping. We used the drive through just to try it out and had great service. They had a sign up to speak loudly so people didn't struggle. We couldn't see inside very well but it was well lit. read more

I've visited Kilwins in several locations, most recently the one in St. John's Town Center in Jacksonville. My main reason for going there is the caramel apples with pecans - they're always fresh and delicious. They also sell chocolates, fudge, and ice cream, all of which have been delicious. If I'm near one, I can't resist popping in. The staff at the counter are always friendly. There's no indoor seating, but due to the location, there has always been a bench or chairs outside at a nearby café or something. I've loved Kilwins and have been enjoying their treats for years. read more

I would have given only 1 star had it not been for the friendly service. I picked up fudge - it was just the worst! It tasted like it was made months ago. It was hard, stale, overly sweet, and just ick. Not to mention a total waste of money. I have been to other Kilwins and that was never the experience. Suffice to say, I won't be back. read more

This was my first time ever going in a Kilwins and I was extremely impressed. When first arriving in the store, I was a little bit, overwhelmed with the amount of products. They had both of ice cream and chocolate items, however, one associate named Megan helped with my decision process. I ended up getting a regular scoop of chocolate brownie with caramel on top and it was absolutely delicious.
