This is one of my favorite bakeries in Phoenix! They make some seriously delicious treats, so when I heard they were opening a store front right near my house, I was so excited! Seriously, if you haven't tried their treats or cakes, you're missing out. I had the peanut butter banana cake for my birthday last year and it was super cute and delicious....we ate that cake for days until it was gone. They're a little pricey, but definitely worth it. I ordered a cake from here for the first time for Easter. I was so excited because the cake on their Instagram looks beautiful and I thought this would be the perfect cake to bring over for Easter. I ordered the 7 inch cake and when I went to pick it up, I thought it was a different cake that I ordered. When I mentioned it to them, they just said nope that's the same cake so I went online and saw that not only it looks different like they just did it so quickly and didn't put any time and effort into it but it was only 5 inches compared to the 7 inches that I paid for that was $55. I called the manager Olivia and told her about what happened and she just basically brushed me off and said that maybe they should've added on their website or on the Instagram posting that beware of the cake will not look exactly like what was posted. Will definitely not be ordering any more cakes from here. read more

I came to Yelp today to find a bakery that was open on Sunday. To my surprise this bakery opened up just a few weeks ago in my neighborhood. You go to their website and they list what they have available today. I was looking for a cake and they had carrot cake available today. It was listed as a 9 inch carrot cake with pecans walnuts mascarpone frosting. I find myself to be a carrot cake snob sometimes. I love carrot cake that has all the extra ingredients inside it, I love to bite into the nuts or pineapple or carrots. There carrot cake fit the bill. It was so flavorful. Also it looks fancy enough to serve to guests. But taste delicious enough that I would get it for the family to eat for dessert. I have never had mascarpone frosting. It looks like a thick heavy frosting. But it's not. It's a lot lighter than you expect. And it had a delicious flavor And it tasted perfect with the cake. I also tried their chocolate chip cookies. CC with Maldon. Maldon Is artisan salt flakes -It really complemented the cookies nicely. I'm definitely excited they're in the neighborhood and I can't wait to try their lemon squares. And whatever other goodies they come up with. If it's your first time visiting like it was mine, there is parking in the back of the building and the entrance is also back there opposite of the hamburger works. read more

It's aight. The banana bread is good, but not nearly chocolatey enough for a chocolate banana bread. But the raspberry jam shortbread cookie was insane. The dinosaur branding is fine, there really isn't much to it other than the name and molds used for the bread. read more

A wonderful background nearby my house, finally! The bakery is more of a grab and go bakery, which I'm hoping they expand to where I can go, grab a treat and enjoy it there. I've been anxiously awaiting to try their pies which I've tried their strawberry lemon cream, banana cream, and olive oil cake and none of them disappointed. I loved how the sweet level was just right, not overly sweet. You can taste the freshness of each of the pies. I noticed they started serving individual pie slices which I'm looking forward to visiting and grabbing a slice without the need to scavenge a few people to finish a whole pie. The bakery is tucked in a complex and if you're not familiar with the area, one could definitely miss where this is located. Overall, great bakery! read more

You can get a cookie anywhere; but you can only get a strawberry shortcake with mascarpone cream in a cup or corn flakes and cream ice cream at The Dinersaur. This place is so unique and it's what celebrity chefs Christina Tosi or Claire Saffitz would make. Lovely experience!!!...So me and the littlest Lady had some time together this AM...so after seeing this little gem recommended on AZ family, I had to bring her by. Especially since her favorite book is "nite nite dinosnores" we tried the breadosauras and butter pecan tea cookies, I also saw a German chocolate cake I would've loved to indulge but maybe next time . Service was A1 as the little one spit up a very sweet young lady baker helped me by cleaning it up. We also decided to adopt "Bliss" an adorable knitted dinosaur plushy one of about five little custom made Dino's up for adoption on the shelf to the right when you walk in. There are cute little dinosaurs everywhere including a ride on dinosaur head in the corner that the little Lady noticed, and tiny brass dinosaurs for about 10bucks, there are also blank Dino post cards by the register. We had fun and the chocolate banana bread shaped as a dinosaur helped get her into her car seat with no issues 5 stars for suuureee. Stye ambiance and experience and a full tummy HELLO!! I absolutely love this bakery! Walked over today after a beautiful yoga class. The employees were so fun and so welcoming - and it smelled divine. I bought several of several things. and (I am a professional bakery/dessert eater, btw) everything was delicious! Oh my good night nurse. Standout (hard to pick though) was the churrover. Crazy good - like a churro pastry with lovely vanilla custard inside. But my other purchases were also crazy good: spritz cookies, raspberry linzers, and the sesame butter coins. That was my lunch. Ever since this discovery, I've been on a quest to try out as much of their pastries and baked goods as I could. Everything I've had has been extremely tasty but the Millionaire's Shortbread is a regular staple in my haul on every visit ! I highly suggest to get here as close as you can to when they open to make sure you get the best selection (certain items are sold out by the afternoon). Can't go wrong with any of their goods! We happened to stumble upon this diner, coming from Encanto Park. From the reviews, we were looking forward to a slice of carrot cake. We circled the block three times and finally found a single door with a dinosaur on it on the backside of the building, from the parking lot, and entered. Otherwise there wasn't any signage or advertising we could find on the exterior. The menu was posted on the wall but they didn't have everything on the menu available. There wasn't any carrot cake, and although key lime pie was also on the list of available items, it was not available as a selection - but it sounded like they would make a pie for you if you didn't mind waiting. They had a public bathroom inside. The diner was basically a single room with enough room to form a line, pick out your food and then leave. There wasn't any seating inside, and no table or chairs were outside, although a neighboring business did have outdoor seating. Maybe they allow guests to sit there and eat? The items were cute with the dinosaur logo on each product. We each purchased a piece quiche to go, and are when we got home. I enjoyed the taste very much so, especially the arugula and lemon, but my spouse thought it was only satisfactory. I think I'd stop back again but my spouse would likely skip out. I wouldn't say this is a diner because of the lack of food and drink options, but rather a grab-and-go. Snacks looked tasty. read more

Everything that comes out of this kitchen is magical. Seriously some of the best baked goods I have ever tried! Some of my personal favorites are the oatmeal iced cookies, the ice cream and any and all of the pies and cakes. The pumpkin chiffon pie was honestly the best pumpkin pie I've ever had! It's a super cute concept, and if you're going there for the novelty, then you'll be satisfied. However I bought each of my kids a breadosaurus (chocolate chip banana bread, which is normally one of their favorites) and they each spit it out after the first bite. It was dry and very little taste of banana. My small tea cookies, however, were delicious and I could probably eat a whole dozen if you let me. .
