I have had treats from Dinersaur from a local coffee truck but this was my first stop into the store. We were welcomed in and it's a cute little spot. There isn't any tables inside and can get cramped if there's a few people in line. They have multiple different cookies, breads, cold items, sandwiches. We really enjoyed the Banoffee as I haven't found a local spot that sells it and it's amazing from here. The oatmeal iced cookie was chewy and fabulous. I cannot wait for another stop in to try everything they offer!

We found this place by accident and we are so happy we did! We tried some of their deserts and deviled eggs, all were delicious. Super cute store, especially if you have a Dino lover in your family to buy for. My toddler loved it! Service was amazing, the ladies were so nice and helpful. Some of the best deviled eggs I've had and I'm from the south, so I don't say that lightly.

We originally thought Dinersaur was a classic diner serving eggs, soups, buffalo wings, fries--typical comfort food. But after doing a bit of research, we realized it's actually a small bake shop. They offer a variety of cookies, pie slices, and small cakes, all with a playful dinosaur theme. To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed (my kid who loves EVERYTHING dinosaur didn't care for it, either) and don't quite understand the hype. Maybe the buzz comes from their limited hours and daily stock, which makes the place seem busier than it is. It's also a very tiny spot--five people inside feels like you're packed in a sardine can. Here's what we picked up during our visit (along with some cute dino stickers): - Chocolate Banana Breadosaurus (dark chocolate, no nuts) - Stroopwafel (butterscotch) - Key Lime Pie - Dino Sugar Cookie (shortbread with whipped royal icing) None of the baked goods really stood out. They were fine, but not so amazing that I'd go out of my way to come back. Definitely not a "must-visit" in my book. Also, seeing a fly chilling inside the baked goods case--on a dropped cookie, no less--was a big turn-off. Eww. Sadly, even if we're in the area again, I don't think we'd return.

I don't want to brag, but my husband spoiled me with a birthday cake from here over the weekend. I actually want to brag, because he also bought me additional treats to enjoy! This is the cutest little bakery, and I've been a big time fan since I moved to Arizona back in 2018. When it was time for our 2 year wedding anniversary and everything was on lock down, I wanted us to have a cake to really celebrate. It was beautifully made and so so delicious. We came back over the weekend, and it was the cutest shop with dinosaurs everywhere! I picked up a churrover, an oatmeal cookie with vanilla bean frosting, and raspberry jam linzer cookie! Everyone was so nice and helpful! As for the cake, my husband got us a chocolate olive oil cake with a chocolate pudding, and marscapone frosting! This is such an adorable shop and it's such a plus on how yummy it is! I highly- HIGHLY recommend

Can I give 6 stars? We got basically one of everything and I wish we got more. The baked goods were delicious!! We really loved the oatmeal cookie, the churro, the chocolate chip cookie. I will say we didn't really like the black sesame cookie, it gives a savory/ sesame oil flavor, and not sweet like we had expected. The Ceaser sandwich was BEYOND good. It also came with chips and a little tea cookie. We fought over the last bite of the sandwich. Everyone inside was very sweet! We got terrific service. It's a cute little shop! The only thing is there's no place to sit and enjoy all the treats! We will definitely be back to try different goodies!

This place is great! I was craving something sweet and my cousin suggested this place. Love the theme and their pastries. I ended up getting several things. Banana bread, a churro, tres leches. There is something for everyone. The people are helpful.

I first discovered The Dinersaur at First Place Coffee, my favorite coffee truck in the greater Phoenix Area. Having sampled the banana breadasaurus and churrover (popover X churro + vanilla custard filling), I had to check out their brick & mortar. The Dinersaur offers lunch items in addition to their many baked goods and everything is made fresh daily! Their "eggies snack box" is filled with brightly colored fresh veggies and a delicious egg salad. They also offer seasonal beverages (recently, I found their fall lemonade: lemon, thyme & ginger!) I was lucky enough to snag one of their holiday cookie boxes on pre-order this year and everything was beautiful and delicious! 2 dozen assorted cookies! The staff is patient, knowledgeable and so sweet! The bakery has gone through a few iterations in their floor plan. Currently, the entrance is on Thomas Rd. and all purchases are to-go. There is no seating inside. They've really leaned into the "Dinersaur" theme, as the holiday decor and a lot of merch all include dinosaurs!

Such a cute and fun idea! My kiddos loved it. Tasted great too which was surprising. I was worried it would be dry but it wasn't.

This was a cute little spot. I love the dinosaur theme. Service was fine. There's lots of parking in the lot behind the building. I don't go to places if the parking sitch is horrible but there were plenty of spots available. I had just left brunch so I didn't buy a bunch of treats. They are pretty reasonably priced. The salted chocolate chip cookie was okay. It had a little too much salt, so much that it overpowered the chocolate and just tasted like a salty cookie. Super cute looking though. The banana bread was adorable. It was shaped like a little stegosaurus. Flavor was kind of bland to be honest. I think the banana and vanilla flavor should be increased, and probably increase the sugar just a bit to really make it pop. Props for being a cute theme, love the vibes, but I wasn't a huge fan of the recipes. Maybe I'll have to go back and get a bigger variety.

The Dinersaur is a cute themed bakery that is set up to grab and go. Two of us stopped by during our time in Phoenix and sampled a few of their treats - the chocolate banana bread, dinosaur cookie, and the raspberry jam linzer. Overall the treats were tasty (especially the linzer!) and the overall theme and vibe was super cute. Service was helpful and friendly. I'd recommend stopping by if you are in the area and need a treat!

I love dinosaurs and snacks so I love this place so much! It was easy to find and lots of parking. Most things were still available even though I visited late in the day. It's so cute inside and the folks working there are super nice. The price is good for the quality and the service is fast. I got a lemonade, banana bread o saurus and sugar cookies. I also bought some dinosaur gifts (pen and pencils and so on). I wanted a t shirt with the cute art but they were all long sleeve so maybe next time. If you like dinosaurs this is a must visit! I wish we had a location in Utah. I hope I have to come back to Arizona for work again so I can have an excuse to stop by for more bread o saurs!

I personally don't understand how a full grown adult could think Dinersaur could have wings hahahahaa!!!!! But! The cakes are always a hit at a party! If you go on instagram you can get inspired by their quality. I've had questions with my orders and received a quick response through email. I've never walked in to hang out just to pick up my cakes. This is a bakery if it's not obvious. Lol

The cutest bakery/ cafe! The decor is full of dinosaurs and cute animals as well as on their pastries! I ordered the Banoffee cup and it is TO DIE FOR! All the flavors just work well together and if you're a banana fan, you will love this item! The Staff were also super polite and helpful when choosing from the many delicious pastry/ dessert options! Please stop by for a yummy sweet treat if you're ever in the area!

I wanted to try a bit of everything.

There is a nice variety of sweet treats, and the service provided by the team inside the truck was stellar. One of our student organizations was hosting The Scookie Bar, and after walking around their event, you could score a ticket for a complimentary Scookie. As we pre-ordered so many as incentives for our students, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, something wasn't set up properly so we didn't have the cookies themselves, but we did have sundaes. We had six options to decide between. I went with The Standard consisting of vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce, and on a normal day, there would have bene a chocolate chip cookie, too. The other five options included the Chocolate Lover, The Celebration, The Signature, Reese's Lover, and The VNA. While I enjoyed the sundae, I'm sure it would have been even better with the cookie included. The Scookie Bar is "where the scoop met the cookie" and serves freshly baked, warm deep-dish skillet cookies also known as scookies. They have a location at The Churchill in Downtown Phoenix, though I would assume I would more regularly see them when their food truck stops by ASU. Their Churchill location is closed on Monday but open Tuesday through Friday from 5-10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 10 PM. If you want to order catering, it includes 2 hours of service and a 100 scookie minimum. They can provide a Build Your Own Menu where guests can choose the cookie, ice cream, and toppings, or they can choose from the Signature Scookie Menu which is what ASU did. They have been operating since 2016 in Phoenix. Now that I realize that I was missing the chocolate chip cookie, I need to try it again with that included! I definitely recommend this sweet treat to others.

I can't speak on the customer service as we never left our table and our waited just walked over and got what we needed. We were pretty stuffed from our massive meal, but we decided on sharing a cup of gelato just to satisfy our sweet tooth. I peeked inside as our table was right at a little walkway from the restaurant to the bakery. Gelato is just one of many things they serve here. They also have all your typical Italian desserts. Cakes like tiramisu, pastries like Italian flag cookies, cookies like Italian wedding cookies, cannolis of different varieties, and of course gelato. What was suggested to us if we wanted gelato was the hazelnut flavor. I was expecting a little cup for the 6 of us just to get a taste, but what he brought over was a massive serving. I don't know how many scoops it was or even how much we even paid, but we all got plenty with some even left behind. Now this gelato was life changing. Probably the best I've had in the states. I know it's gotta be way better in Italy, but I'll take what I can when I can. Think of a Ferrero Rocher but in gelato form. It was delicious and I couldn't get enough of it. It wasn't overly sweet and it had a little crunch with bits of chocolate and hazelnuts. My sweet tooth was extremely satisfied after having dessert here. I have literally been thinking about that gelato since I left Phoenix. Luckily this company has locations in Texas so I will definitely be seeking out this gelato soon.

Have a meal at The Sicilian Butcher and then follow that up with dessert at The Sicilian Baker. There are several locations in town, with this one being in North Phoenix. On my most recent visit, I stopped by on a Thursday. Parking tends to be busy in their complimentary lot, but you'll find a spot. Ambiance (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is connected to The Sicilian Butcher. It's a small bakery, with only a few seats. More of a grab-and-go type of spot or the source of your dessert if you're dining at the restaurant. While small, the decor and ambiance is nice. Service (3/5): A little bit of bad luck, but on my most recent visit, they were having trouble with their refrigeration so no gelato was available. While interacting with the staff, it was an average experience. I will say that the service was much better in the restaurant. Drinks (N/A): I only got dessert, but they do have coffee and a few other beverages available. Food (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is known for its cannolis, tiramisu, gelato, and lobster claws (dessert, not real lobster haha). On my most recent visit, I had a cannoli. They have your classic cannoli but also a nice variety of other fillings including pistachio, Reese's, and more. A+ for creativity, though I decided to stick with the classic. Solid. In fact, all of the desserts I've had here over the years have been quite good.

It's smooth, rich without being too heavy, and the flavor actually develops as you eat it instead of just being one-note sweet. You can tell they take this part seriously. Leave it outside the fridge for an hour and watch that cheesecake melt on your tongue crystals (if you have the patience for that) Their rotating monthly flavors keeps things interesting, and you're not just stuck with the same lineup every time. Out of what I tried, the banana pudding one was easily a standout--super nostalgic, creamy, and just done right without being overly sweet. The coconut one was also up there, more subtle but still really clean and flavorful. Love me some coconut! They also have a punch card system--buy 9 slices, get the 10th free--which is a nice touch. It lowkey turns into a mission because once you've tried one flavor, you kinda want to work your way through all of them anyway. Now...the downside. The customer service just isn't great. It's not aggressive or anything, just noticeably lacking. There's not much warmth or engagement--it feels pretty transactional. For a place that clearly puts effort into their product, you'd expect at least a baseline level of hospitality, and it's just not really there. So overall, if you're going to Banhams, go for the cheesecake. The rotating flavors keep it fresh, the quality is legit, and it's definitely worth trying. Just don't expect much from the service side, and you'll enjoy it a lot more.
