Brought my daughter to the Diner for her birthday and it was a horrible experience. The service was slow and the food was cold. Stood at the counter for over 5 min waiting to tell someone because the waitress did not come back. The ladies were to busy discussing their 401 k to even ask if we needed anything. Finally the waitress came and told my wife I'll take off his meal and bring you hot fries. She had finished her whole meal before the fries came back. My daughter ordered her a birthday banana split and my wife ordered coffee. After waiting 20 min we got up to leave. The lady was just starting the banana split but who wants to sit and wait longer. We had been in there over an hour just trying to have a good lunch. It would have been a better experience if they would have at least acknowledged you at the register. We usually look forward to coffee and ice cream and cheesecake but no more. $48 for food unfit to eat. read more

Honestly I wouldn't even give this place one star. We just walked in and couldn't even get passed the attitudes of the people. Promise we won't be back. read more

We have eaten here in the past and it was just ok....not bad or good just ok. We went for breakfast and it was not busy at all. We walked in and waited for about 3 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. She tells us it will be a minute. As we are waiting we look up at the ceiling at the air conditioning vents.......they are DISGUSTING!!! We start looking around and the place is filthy!!!! We decided if that is what it looks like where we can see I can only imagine the kitchen. There are a lot of other restaurants around to pick from. When you have that much competition around I would think cleaning and service would be a priority. read more

We were in town for a cheer competition and read the reviews online. Thought we would give it a try on our way out of town. BIG MISTAKE!!! Took over 30 minutes to be seated even with empty tables available. There was a 20 minute wait to get our drinks and place our order. Almost 40 minutes for our food to come out. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children and there was an issue with every single food order. Cheddar burger came with no cheddar; so they brought out a cold piece of cheese on a plate. Spaghetti and meatballs came with no meatballs and no fork. Waffle came with no syrup or fork. Patty melt was served with ice cold burger, cold cheese and raw onions. Yuck. Nobody ever received silverware or a drink refill. My favorite part was when the server came by to ask how everything was and was walking off before she finished her sentence. That's the only time she checked on us. Another server had to bring some of our missing food items and complained to us that she wasn't our server. Over priced, terrible service, awful food; basically don't bother! read more

First off, our waitress was great and deserves more than 3 stars but the food doesn't. Atmosphere was cool- lives up to it's "Diner" title. Between the 4 if us, we ordered an angus burger, elk burger, regular cheese burger and a spaghetti. We did order the burgers, all 3, medium but at least 2 were BRIGHT red inside. We ate them anyway... Onion rings had a good flavor but full of grease. Fries were cool. Won't be rushing back but it's not crossed off our list of eateries. read more

I would not return to this restaurant. My mom had the grilled cheese: one piece of cheese between two dark brown grilled slices of bread. Lukewarm french fries. I had the vegetable selection. Good mac & cheese. Two lukewarm pieces of cauliflower & broccoli. Tasteless coleslaw and tomato slices. Cherry pie was terrible. Blah, under baked crust with cold, tasteless filling. Friendly server. Watched customers stack up inside front door & then leave before being seated. read more

We would be willing to drive the 10 hours just to have one of these milkshakes!! We were there twice in our four day stay!! This visit really added to our stay in Sevierville!! read more

Had Thanksgiving meal at The Diner. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! This is one of Sevierville's best places to eat. Meal was perfect, prices best in town, old school atmosphere, and the service was top notch. Owners are usually always on site and checking on customers, food is made from scratch, and the desserts are incredible. Thanks for another great eating experience!!!! read more

I highly recommend this place the food is pretty good but Our waiter was really good. he was the best part make sure you ask for Matthew he loves to entertain his guests with magic tricks I would recommend it especially to people with young kids read more

The best hashbrowns i've had in years.not everyone can make hash browns. Service is always great. Clean clean clean. Thanks guys

Fantastic diner food, floats, and desserts. If you are staying nearby, you should skip the hotel restaurant and come here instead. You should definitely have the rum pecan pie. read more

I was camping down the road and the menu online mentioned the chicken and dumplings. It sounded good. I ordered that as a meal. When it came i could not find more than 1 or 2 strings of chicken in it. The manager brought out another bowl but it was the same. Then she said that they grind it up fine. Sure they do. The sauce was tasteless too. Really disappointed and still hungry when I left. read more

Absolutely amazing! I ordered a Cadillac burger and it was one of the best I ever had. My wife ordered a peppermint shake and it was THE best I've ever tasted. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Wait was a little longer than expected but the taste of the food made up for it. read more

Excellent service and food. Reminds me of day gone by. Reubens and roast beef were good. Liver was also. Best peanut butter malt I've had in years. read more

Our waiter, Gary, was such a delight! He has us laughing everytime he came up to the table. He was really great and I would advise everyone to request him!!! Such a great guy!!! The food was really good as well. The Diner has such a nice vibe. Would go again read more

The diner is absolutely wonderful! Great atmosphere, relaxed environment, fun music, very friendly owners and servers. We ordered the sedan deville burger and the FGT BLT sandwich. A five star restaurant all around! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some great quality food! read more

Great breakfast! Ordered Mamaw's Favorite - 2 scrambled eggs, 2 strips of crispy bacon, plenty of hash browns, 2 hot biscuits, and a bowl of gravy for the biscuits were served on a platter! Lots of food cooked perfectly. The service was excellent - friendly and helpful. I ordered hot tea with my breakfast and received a cup of hot water, a small pot of water for a refill, and two tea bags. No waiting around for a second cup like most places. The other two people in my party were equally pleased with their meal. To sum it up, The Diner serves lots of food, nicely cooked and served at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend. Arrive hungry! read more

First timer. Service was awesome! Food was ordered, prepared and served promptly. We all ordered different meals & everything tasted great! Definitely recommend this fine diner! read more

I love this place the food was good and so was the service probably my new favorite place to dine in and eat at . The food was fairly expensive to and not crazy like other restaurants are in the Sevierville/Piegon Forge area is , I'll definitely be back for sure read more

The elderly woman Suzette that was seating tables is one of the most miserable people I've encountered at any restaurant. She was nasty when we asked her what the quoted wait time was. When she sat us we asked her for a high chair and she said ok and proceeded to seat more tables for almost ten minutes while we held our daughter. I went to ask her again and she said she was getting around to it. The server was at the table at this point asking us if we needed a highchair and we said yes. Suzette came over and said to the server "if they ask for a high chair one more time": excuse me? If you are seating a table.. fully seat the table. A few minutes later she came around the corner in a nasty manner and slammed her leg on something and was limping around. Karma. Don't be rude to guests. The server told us people had been mean to her all day. I don't want to hear that and you certainly don't be rude to any guests because others were rude. That wasn't our fault. Don't make me hold my daughter standing for ten minutes. The food was terrible. The place was dusty. The Mirrors were filthy in the booth. I had one fried pickle and it was 1/4 the size of a normal pickle and they charge you almost $2 for that. I regret not taking a photo. I had a patty melt which absolutely tasted like nothing. No seasoning what so ever and the onions were raw. My fiancé had a southwest breakfast wrap and they sent the wrong one. The cheese was not melted. Onions raw again. The food also took a very long time. Just don't go here. When we paid suzette didn't say two words to us. She ripped the paper off the receipt in a nasty manner and just took our money. No thank you or even a smile. They are hiring and I'm sure if anyone works with suzette for a day they'd certainly quit. read more

There was a plastic food container in the bathroom floor to catch a leak. The food was pretty greasy and not impressive. We've eaten at lots of diners but we will be avoiding this place in the future. We spent $40.00 for 4 people. Not my worst dining experience, but not the best. In this case, we feel we were misled by more positive reviews and wonder if these reviews are legitimate. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience on your vacation, look elsewhere. read more

The Spicy Cajun Burger was amazing!! And to top it off the chocolate covered strawberry malt was made from scratch and it was so delicious. I had my dad and one of his friends. We all go different burgers; none of us complained about service or the food. For the price you pay it's pretty awesome! I highly recommend it! read more

This is the worst restaurant ever over 40 mins for a burger and cheese fries not even a damn rush

We happened upon this place on accident. We were looking for a pancake restaurant that didn't have a line wrapped around the restaurant, which is very hard to find this time of year. We were driving and took a chance. So glad we did. We ended up eating at the Diner twice while we were here. The atmosphere is 50's and the music is great. Brought back so many wonderful memories. The menu is huge and the food was good. We loved our waitress. She was so sweet and attentive. The only complaint I would give is the wait for the food was kinda long, but in their defense they were short a cook and dishwasher. If I ever go back to Pigeon Forge on vacation I would definitely go back to the Diner. It was great!! read more

The service was fast and efficient and the staff was extremely friendly. The whole atmosphere gave off a great vibe as soon as we walked inside. The coffee was probably the best restaurant coffee I have ever had and the prices were reasonable to go along with the fresh tasty food. I would definetly recommend this to anyone looking for a funky place to eat in town. read more

This place is a real diner, not a new place made to look like one. What you get there is diner food, not great but good, and never had a wait. We went for breakfast and everyone liked what they got. read more

Meh. Service and food delivery was slow. Food was just okay. Nothing write home about. This was our first visit to the restaurant and we won't bother coming back. read more

Good service. Food was not tasty and prepared correctly. My steak was not cooked when I asked for medium well. Prices were high for what we got, I was not impressed and would not recommend. read more

I was thrilled to find this little treasure, very clean, and cute decor. I was also surprised by the extensive menu. I had the chicken tenders (4) small pieces, mashed potatoes (instant :( ), green beans (just ok), rolls (dry). My husband had the catfish filet, he said it was good but it didn't look cooked enough to me, breading was mushy. He also had baked beans that tasted to me like warmed pork and beans and mac and cheese that was a lot like kraft out of the box. I'm sad to say that I was not nearly as thrilled after I ate as I was before. The waitress was friendly but not overly, it was late in the evening so I'm sure she was tired. I'll not go back. read more

Awesome place! The 50s style diner setting is cool and the people are super friendly! Exactly what we wanted! They had everything from breakfast food to sandwiches and steaks. The Diner in Sevierville, TN has the feel of a 1930's diner. Complete with black and white tile on the floor and lots of neon all around inside and outside. The menu has some excellent choices as well as excellent prices. I ordered liver and onions along with turnip greens and beans and the meal was excellant country home cooking. My spouse ordered grilled chicken which was likewise delicious. The prices were excellent as the meal was less than $8. The place is really a nice treat from all the fast food places of today. The inside it all chrome, red vinyl and neon. Great old place to visit. After I posted our location on Facebook, we got numerous message. Most were asking how we found so many neat places to stop for food. We love traveling the back roads and this location while not exactly on the backroads is certainly not in the large tourist area found just a short distance down the highway.Wish we had this sitting in Dallas, Texas. Also loved the old car sitting at the entrance. read more

My boyfriend and I love trying different restaurants when we come to Gatlinburg. Our server was wonderful & checked on us just enough to bother us, but to make sure we were taken care of. I got the club with fried okra and my boyfriend got the diner dog. It was very delicious! Also loved the atmosphere. read more

I picked up an order to go and was pleasantly surprised with the bacon burger. My girlfriend had the chili cheese fries with bacon and ask for jalapenos on top. What a great pair for a nice hot snack. I also had the bread pudding with the rum sauce. The diner is a neat little establishment and I wish I would have eaten inside verses taking my food across the street to the Hampton. I will definitely visit them again there. Try it out for yourself and I think that you will enjoy your meal. read more

Awful service. Kept getting wrong meal and waitress obviously doesn't know how to read the menu. She charged us extra for something when it was clearly stated it was included. Also we were supposed to get grits and it never came. Will not recommend this to anyone. They need new staff. read more

Dined at the Diner for lunch. The decor was what you would expect from a 50's Diner. Burgers and fries were good. My few complaints are the wait for our food was about 40 minutes once our order was placed and the waitress was new, 4th day, and you could tell. read more
