I can't imagine how someone could eat all that in one sitting, but it was definitely great value for the price. The chicken parm was tasty, although the linguine was just average in quality. The restaurant itself is very large with lots of seating and a parking lot in front. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. The service speed was also fairly quick. The vibes are very casual/chill inside. Overall, Dewey's is a very solid choice for American food in Moab, especially if you are hungry for a large portion.

BBQ sounded amazing and I've never had a platter like this before. I couldn't turn down the 3 meat platter to try everything that peaked my interest. Starting with the hush puppies, fried, sweet, and savory. Yum! The brisket was so tender and juicy. The ribs were also tender and fell off the bone. The andouille sausage had cheese throughout it and I felt like it was too oily and fatty from that, but that ended up being my husband's favorite. We devoured the sides too. The beans and mac and cheese were a must. If I had more stomach space I'd eat a dozen more hush puppies. Outdoor seating allows your furiends. Order at the counter and enjoy! I don't expect fancy food from a diner, but I do expect potatoes to be cooked properly. Actually I'm saying 2 stars as the Waitress was kind enough not to charge us for the Potatoes or the fries, but the food itself was a huge disappointment. 5 stars for the Server, 1 star for the cook.

We arrived around 6:00 p.m., and not long after we were seated the restaurant really started filling up, so getting there a little earlier was perfect. We started with the small Greek salad, which was fresh and a great way to begin the meal. My partner ordered the flat iron steak with a baked potato, grilled zucchini, and a roll. The steak was unbelievably tender...you could cut it with a butter knife. I ordered the Zac Mac & Cheese, and it was delicious. It was loaded with fresh, crunchy bacon and fresh jalapeños throughout, giving it just the right amount of flavor and a little kick. It also came with a warm roll. Between the excellent food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere, Zax made for a fantastic first dinner in Moab. We'd definitely come back.
