Still giving a 5 stars because I want this place to stay, but I am kind of unhappy with the recent crepe I got. Got adventurous and tried the strawberry with matcha custard this time. Again, the crepe feels smaller and if anything, I couldn't really taste the matcha custard at all. Not sure if it's just a different taste but it wasn't as strong as I would have liked. Also got the Ginger Milk Tea Hot, no problems there. Indoor seating is back, so I'm glad for that!

I'm not sure if this is new or just change in ownership... but I also know my other tea spot is moving here (80s Tea)... the pink unicorn used to be at 80s tea. Came by to pick up 2 teas... grapefruit green tea and a lychee green tea... both are a bit too sweet... there's not a lot of option to choose from... more basic selection. There's not much option around this hood... it's either ViVi or 80s Tea or this Crepe place. I like my 80s tea super fresh grapefruit tea... with fresh fruit inside. A little disappointed that they don't offer the fresh tea here, but I guess their focus is more on their crepes... I do see people getting their savory crepes for lunch. Haven't tried their crepes yet.. I hope they expand their tea selection and will return to try it.

This is a small mom-and-pop shop that recently opened this year. I like it here. I haven't had bubble tea for many years and I was introduced to this spot by my bf this 4th of July weekend and now I'm hooked. We came here for our bubble tea and strawberry milkshake. And we also got the ice cream crepe to share. The flavor and quality were authentic and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back again. My goto spot for bubble tea and especially strawberry milk shake! Please stay open.

Upon submitting the online order, I received a text confirming the order. I was able to confirm the price. They were going to charge me an extra $12 for the outline of Crayon Shin-Chan's face that I requested. They said it wasn't a simple drawing, which I didn't realize, so I swiftly changed it to just mini cone designs. The mini cone design was a good call because they added different flavored ice creams that I didn't choose for the cake to the cones. One of the ice cream cone flavors was orange or something, which I don't think I saw as an option on the ordering form, making it even better and allowing us to try even more flavors! It was $65.33 (incl tax) for 3 flavors for the second biggest size cake (I think it was for 10-12 ppl). The three flavors I got for the cake were: Cookies and cream - 3.5/5 My least favorite flavor here even though I generally really enjoy cookies and cream. Not enough cookies and the texture of the cookies is not soft enough. Don't think it will taste like your favorite pint of cookies and cream. If I were to try to describe it, I'd say it'd taste like a healthy cookies and cream? Taro - 4.5/5 My favorite flavor because the taro came through but in a nice, subtle way. This was also the least sweet of the three flavors. Black sesame - 4/5 Undeniably black sesame. The taste was very strong and the black sesame seeds gave it some texture. A tad bit too sweet but overall ok. I've gotten ice cream cakes from here in the past, and I thought I wrote them a review already, but I guess not.

Both flavors were good, not overly sweet. The two cones on the cake were flavors that we couldn't choose and it was strawberry and matcha. Personally for me, the matcha was a bit too bitter. When I do this; I usually find " buried restaurant treasure". On a recent visit to Prospect Park, I decided to try a different place and got off the B16 at Caton and Coney Island Avenue. The place: Lark Cafe. I was in a mood to cheat and have a toasted wheat bagel with scallion cream cheese and a Chai. I got almost everything, except, wheat was sold out and chose sesame bagel. As I waited, I wanted to check out the adjoining ice cream shop that sells Jane's ice cream, made in the heart of the Hudson Valley. I will return for a future cheat. Jane's is known for popular flavors as Killer Chocolate, Blue Zoo, Unicorn Cake. My order was ready and one bite of the bagel: heaven! The bagel was toasted to perfection and the scallion cc was delicious. And what a generous schmear! The Chai was light and frothy. As I devoured, patrons around me were typing on their computers enjoying Stumptown coffee and iced tea. LC offers a variety of tasty options: whitefish on a bagel, smoked salmon, cheddar chive biscuits, tea bread, croissants, doughnuts.. The ambience is relaxed and there is a book nook if you need a good read. Lark also hosts private events and for families there are sing along and story times. The service is kind and my bagel was absolutely made with TLC. I left Lark happy and walked straight to Prospect Park. Off the beaten path is always full of nice surprises! The jewish customers that stay here LOVE LOVE LOVE to stare anyone of colour down, i am brown, could you imagine how hard they would stare at anyone black? There was a radius around me that no jewish person in the building would even dare to approach even if it was life threatening. The stares you get is constant and never ever will you have an experience from them that isn't different. They are literally bordering a brown community and they still act like this. I ordered the nachos. The chips were nice and crispy. I requested cheese. It was very liquidy, cool, and had a thick skin covering the top. I also ordered some salsa for an additional $2. This was even colder and had a sweetness to it. Both of these were not the greatest nacho dipping sauces but this is an ice cream house after all. I would still go back to try some of their ice cream or smoothies. This is a great place for dates, kids, or families.
