Really cute place to have breakfast. I ordered avocado toast and cappuccino. Food was great. Service was great too. Fresh ingredients, nice presentation. I would certainly return if in area.

This was a disappointing meal. It came as a top rated spot on yelp for breakfast and in the local area. This was our first stopped after landing in Denver and we needed breakfast. This inside was a cute charming but freezing cold cafe. I started with an apple cider that they throw an entire cinnamon stick in. It was good but the entire cup was sticky for some reason on the outside. I ordered the build you own omelette with shredded potatoes and sourdough toast. First off the toast was not sourdough it tasted like stale white bread. I know sourdough because I have a small business at home in which I make sourdough and that was not it. The omelette was very watery and the amount of cubed ham inside was not edible. The cheese and spinach inside was not even cooked. The shredded potatoes were alright but needed so much salt to be decent. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito it was horrible. The entire inside was undercooked unseasoned breakfast potatoes. There was maybe about two pieces of sausage inside and it was drowned in sauce. Conveniently all the waitstaff seemed to disappear after our food came out and we were starving so we attempted to eat about half of our horrible meals. Then trying to get a staff member to pay the bill was next to impossible as I tried to flag someone down twice and no one came to the table. It was maybe about 20 minutes before someone finally came over. Parking is a very small tight lot or paid street parking. Save yourself a trip and find a better spot for breakfast. This was such a disaster and not worth the experience.

This place is right near the red rocks amphitheater and has a unique selection of food. From grilled cheese or Mac and cheese to burritos or tacos. It took a bit for us to get seated and make sure you have your ID because they card everyone. That also delayed our service for quite a while. The place is simple and there were quite a few people both inside or using the outside seating. I ordered the Reuben and my wife had the grilled ham and cheese. The Reuben was perfectly cooked and quite good. The French fries were a unique cut and also well done. We also tried their hot sauce and I purchased the garlic Serrano which was something different and very flavorful. Certainly a good option for lunch if you're in the area.

We stopped in for brunch before hiking at red Rocks. The wait wasn't too long and the patio is dog friendly! It was also enclosed and heat which was perfect for the chilly morning on the day that we went. One interesting thing here is that the service is team service so you don't have just one dedicated waiter/waitress. Food was good though and good portions!

Stopped in before heading to Red Rocks. The Bloody Mary was interesting. Very pickle forward, in a really good way! The omelet I ordered was massive. They have their own hot sauces; and they're delicious! Glad to have popped in. The cow art in the bathroom is hilarious! An added bonus for sure.

Avocado toast with cilantro and chili peppers. Yummy. Toast slices were big.

Great little diner in cute town by Red Rocks. We stopped for breakfast on our Lariat Scenic bypass loop. Service was quick. Servers were attentive. Breakfast was fast and yummy. They even had vegan options and were able to adjust a few for me. I ordered the avocado toast, oatmeal with water instead of milk. Friends ordered a jumbo pancake which was bigger than the plate and a bowl of fruit. Prices were a great especially for Denver area. Paintings of cows everywhere and some were very funny! Will make another stop next time we're in area.

We had just explored Red Rocks and wanted to explore the (very!) small town of Morrison and we decided to have lunch here due to the crowds. Despite the restaurant's name, we opted for a berry salad without the cheese and added salmon on it. We asked the staff about it, wanting to make sure we weren't making a mistake, and they told us the salmon was surprisingly good! And honestly, it was. We were pleasantly surprised by it. The salmon was cooked really well and the ingredients were fresh. Seems like a good spot for a burger and fries too. Really friendly customer service here!

A rainstorm caused us to cut our hike short and make a stop in Morrison and so glad we did! Solid grub and the BEST SOFTSERVE! Cherry dip is the way to go with a swirl of vanilla and chocolate underneath! Yum!

We stopped by The Cow for lunch with the family yesterday. It was pretty busy, but we were seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The space is small but has a cozy, homey feel--definitely has charm. Service was great throughout the meal. We started with the fried PB&J and sweet potato waffle fries. The flavor on both was good, but the PB&J was a bit dry--not quite enough peanut butter or jelly. Fries were a little soggy but still tasty. I had the berry yummy salad with a side of vegetarian green chile. The chile had a real kick to it, but the flavor was on point. Salad was fresh and hit the spot. My husband ordered the regular chile, but it was too spicy for him to finish, so just a heads-up if you're sensitive to heat! Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would come back. Great service and a welcoming vibe--just a few small misses on the food that kept it from being five stars.

My sister and I had breakfast at this wonderful, small restaurant very close to the red rock amphitheater where we watched the sunrise. The service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. The portions were large enough so that I could eat a second breakfast with what I brought home. The gigantic cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious, and the coffee itself was worth the visit. The atmosphere inside is warm and cozy with plenty of seating both to the left and the right of the main entrance. I guarantee that if we are ever back in Morrison Colorado, we will definitely be eating one of our meals at The Cow Now go make memories... Safe travels

Appreciate the owner reaching out after my review. Since we had waited over an hour we came in to speak to the hostess so never saw the text and didn't see the menu until we sat down and were handed a menu where the waitress said it's now lunch so here's your menu. lol We were charged $1 for a tablespoon of honey mustard (who does that?) and $3 to substitute fries for fruit. Not sure that goes with the rising costs. Lol But like I said, I appreciate the response and the intent to do better. So will give you a 4. But definitely recommend checking the menu first, which we should have done.

Blackbird is cutesy and inviting with brightly painted exterior (featuring butterflies and sunflowers), cozy and wooded interior, with one hell of a Creekside view. The layout inside is a little awkward - and entrance is right near the kitchen. However, we maneuvered to a table in the corner near the window - with a nice, sunny view and was greeted by a friendly face who gave us a rundown of the specials and allowed us ample time to peruse the menu. We decided to sip on Arnold palmers and split The Rachel - essentially a Turkey Ruben with a side of fries and sweet potato fries - because two types of fries is always the right choice! Within about 10 minutes, our food arrived, which was just what the doctor ordered. Splitting the meal was perfect, as the sandwich was huge. Mom's fries were delicious while my sweet potato fries were a little burnt, but still yummy. Service was friendly, welcoming and accommodating to our lunch date. Pricing is on point and reasonable for a cute mountain town. I'd easily return!
