Counter person was very pleasant and accommodating although not very knowledgable. I got A CHICKEN CUTLET. They looked scrumptious @ $20. $32.99/lb. I will pay for quality. Last two times I went there, I ordered and paid for an iced coffee and then was told they were out. Oh and it costs $9.66 for a large iced coffee with almond milk. Insane. I love the country table but I'm not sure if they're just having a bad week or if it's just me. But I have some notes: For starters, for pick-up, their online ordering system is VERY confusing. This might just be a me thing. So anytime I order I call in. Well today, I made a large order and they messed up one of the salads, my coworker still ate it even though they gave us the wrong one. And I ordered a chicken parm sandwich and the chicken is burnt, dry, and hard to chew, like a hockey puck. For the price of it, it is not worth it. The other thing was this past Sunday. Now it says they close at 4:30pm. I got there at 3:50. Woman behind the counter said that the kitchen was closed. I don't know if they just need to update their hours or what. Like I said, every other time I have been here has been yummy and great. But something was off for sure this week. I hope it improves. I also want to add I normally don't post negative reviews. I genuinely feel bad doing it. But I really hope the owner reads this and pays closer attention to the quality of their food. read more

Like some other merchants, due to proximity to a certain demographic...they price themselves where it deters returning customers unless no other convenient options exist. It's a shop that resembles some New Hampshirite communities. Not really a destination for those that may consider making a trip here. It's sandwiches, build your own salad, etc. Food is nothing extraordinary but they do care in presentation. At current prices not a reasonable choice for most. The whole cult of food glorification needs to be slapped back into reality. A take away small salad with a few slices of chicken should not cost $22 before expected tip and tax. This is a tourist style pricing for those who desire to spend exorbitantly without the bed and breakfast or holiday setting/community. Well curated menu option, nicely displayed, easy to follow menu. one issue: Belgian waffles are frozen /reheated which means by the time you start to eat it, it's hard texture is difficult to cut with the plastic cutlery they give you (please let customers know the waffles aren't freshly made). Really disappointed in this place. Went for a coffee and croissant and it was inedible. Not only did the croissant taste stale and grocery store quality, it was $6!!! That is $2 more than what Raphael's Bakery and Maman charge, which are fresh and made in-house by French pastry chefs. The price of the food for what you get is absurd. Will never go back. If the quality reflected the prices, then it would be less egregious. But the food is really bad. Pastries are stale, sandwiches are dry, portions are tiny. Don't go here. Great little shop with delicious food, beautifully finished interior, good clean space to work, fast Wi-Fi, a couple tables outside by the Byram River and private parking lot. Only thing I don't like is they can't make a mocha or any flavored lattes. read more

We used to love this place, but when we went back recently on a not crowded Sunday afternoon we waited over 30 minutes for our food (one grilled cheese and a pre-made sandwich). When we got our order and brought it home, the bread was burnt on the edge and not cooked at all on the inside on the grilled cheese. It honestly was so bad that you couldn't even eat it. Excited to have this new spot in the heart of Glenville. For breakfast, we tried egg, bacon and cheese on a brioche. The egg was perfectly runny, nice amount of bacon, this sandwich was delicious. We also go a few generously sized chocolate chip cookies. They were great, full of chocolate chips. On a different day, I got sandwiches delivered for lunch directly through the website/DoorDash and they were great as well. We tried roast turkey as well as custom turkey and custom roast beef. Had an incredible lunch the last time I came here a year ago. Was excited to go back. Ordered the same veggie pita I had a year ago and my boyfriend got a BLT. The veggie pita had completely changed - a almost stale pita with a small amount of a bland veggie mix. My boyfriends chicken cutlet BLT took 30 minutes to come out. The prices are very high but the sandwiches are well done. The chef is very talented. The staff is attentive and smart.

Excellent all around. Wonderful food, quality, ambiance, and helpful staff. The vibe is great and they have fun merchandise. My only suggestion would be to take advantage of the great back patio with some additional outdoor seating and add a water bowl for dogs. I'm sure these additions are forthcoming. I payed $14 for two chicken cutlets (some of the worst I have ever had). They refused to even sell me anything less than their full size container of salad. Please go down the street to castle view deli where the cutlets are twice as good for half the price. Horrible just horrible establishment. Their prices simply make no sense if a sandwhich is $14 why in the heck would two pieces of chicken be the same price. Unbelievably expensive!!! Incredibly bad!!! My wife and I grabbed a quick bite on our way through town and thought this place looked nice and clean but after a couple really terrible sandwiches, Chicken Parm (dry AF! on an even drier roll) and something called Texas Toast (Incredibly fatty, very rubbery brisket, my bad for trying it I guess?) and a few other side items the bill was over $100!!!. We would've been so much better off getting a Subway grinder and splitting it for like $8 it would have towered over this tragic meal! I'm more than happy to pay handsomely for great food but I feel like we were robbed and I just had to say something... (I've never posted a negative review before) Hopefully somebody will see this and not make the same mistake. Living in Greenwich I understand the premium for services and goods. I've lived in NYC for almost a decade and have developed a thick skin for being overcharged. However, 26 dollars for macaroni and cheese and 10 dollars for a croissant is a bit ambitious. Perhaps their overhead is high or the owner is high believing their price strategy is accurate. They have failed to measure the competitive environment. My suggestion is taking a look at kneaded bread in port Chester. Half the price , half the time to compete an order and twice the taste. read more
