I've also recommend the salon to two of my best friends, who now come here regularly. However, this experience I had was really disappointing. I initially got a full gel x set done by Vee, and within a week three nails popped off. I photographed two of the three nails coming off and included them in the review. I came back twice to get fixes, and each time the owner Kim said it was my fault for being "too rough" and "they never had this happen before", rather than acknowledging a possible nail application issue. There was no apology for the inconvenience. When the third nail came off, I requested a new set. While I appreciate that they fit me in quickly, the customer service during the redo was poor. Kim cut me twice during the service and did not apologize or stop to clean the area. At one point, I flinched because it hurt, accidentally got polish on her glove, and received an annoyed reaction. Overall, they were quick to fix the nails, but the combination of nails lifting within a week, being blamed for it, and being cut without any apology made the experience frustrating and stressful. As a loyal and long time customer, I expected better service and professionalism.

They were dull, appeared to have scratches all over them on day one, and lifted quicker than acrylic. I went in after a few days to have the dullness fixed and they buffed them, then put a top coat of gel polish. This only made them shiny for about a day, then they looked awful again. Getting your nails done is such a nice self care splurge, but such a bummer to pay for nails that turn out bad. I tried a new salon with my mother in law and I realized just how rushed they are at US nails, they're rough on your nails, I would bleed sometimes and just tell myself "beauty is pain." I noticed a girl getting her nails done with a male tech, and he seemed to be very meticulous. So i decided to come back for a gel mani before my bridal shower. That was a Thursday evening, and it's now Tuesday and almost every nail has chipped/torn off. When he did it I could tell he didn't care at all about the polish application. My cuticles also look like crap. The "massage" was not even close to that, more like an aggressively quick arm lotion rub.

REALLY? I have had my nails done way better the same style for 25-30$ I think it is ridiculous how much they charge. I asked the lady why so much and she said "because of the coffin shape and my nails were long. Mind you they aren't long at all. So $40 bc of length and shape and $10 for shellac. I could have went else where and got the same exact nails and a pedi for $50. I'm really upset I spent that much and could have gone elsewhere for better nails. The nails seem big and bulky to me . No water was offered and it felt rushed. I also didn't see a color I really wanted so I had to settle. So no I will not be going back. Save your money and go elsewhere. Update: 2/17 - one day after getting my full set/gel. Did the dishes this morning and now the gel has chipped and started to come off.
