I scheduled an appt today at 12:30. I did not leave until 3pm. It was an appt for my 2 daughters and me before we go on vacation. My youngest daughter is 7 so it was a simple mani/pedi. We made an appt at 12:30 and did not leave until 3 pm and I am still not happy with my nails. My oldest was happy bc the lady did exactly what she asked when my daughter showed her the pics of her inspiration. My pic I showed from the gentleman, was not close to what I asked for- shape of nail and color. I usually only go for special occasions and every time I have been to lucky nails, they have been great but this time was not. The people there are lovely and I will admit, I am not one to complain. My oldest daughter had a great experience. The nails he did for me were not like the pic I showed the gentleman there and he didn't speak great English. Halfway through, I asked if he could just paint the entire nail the color of the line I wanted. He said he could not. My nails were not the shape I asked and also not the (pink/ low white color I wanted) I did ask for brown instead of black but it still isn't anything I wanted and when I asked if we could just do the entire nail the brown color he didn't understand and said he couldn't. If he could have just fixed it, I would have been happy. It cost me $270. The lady there that did my daughters was amazing and did exactly what she wanted from the inspo pic. It is in the 3rd and 4th photo. My daughter's inspo pic was almost exact to what the nail tech did. So I am happy about that. read more

You know, when you question something in your mind, you should not ignore it! I got a pedicure here and was put in a chair where there was an older gentleman before me. My thought was "Did she change the liner in the tub?" My mistake, should've asked or walked out. Few days later , my big toe hurt in the middle of the night, few days after that, I had puss at the cuticle and now my nail is squishy. Was in town when I broke a nail. I read several reviews on multiple salons before deciding to try out Lucky Nails. I was not disappointed!! Friendly staff and I am just sorry they aren't in my home town! I'll be back next time I am this direction. Jessi did a great job and was very gentle to my nails as one had broken my nail bed. Unfortunately, at this business, it doesn't matter if you make an appointment or not, you're not getting in on time. I gave them three chances on three different occasions at different times of the day and on different days of the week. Each of the three times I made an appointment and each of the three times I had to wait at least 30 minutes if not more. I will not go back again. They have re-done the inside to increase the number of nail stations but now there is nowhere for customers to sit other than 8 chairs in the middle. The wait time was long with several people opening the door and then letting it close as they walked away. Hated my nails from a previous salon, so went here to get them removed and redone. Can't say I really enjoyed the removal process, he cut the acrylics down, filed and pried off, all while making sure I wasn't in pain- if I was he would soak those nails in a warm nail polish remove 'bath' and then would continue after a while- still hurt, but this was the fastest way to get them off. He knew I was upset about my previous experience from the other salon, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted from the picture I showed him, he even went as far to tell me what polishes he didn't have to match the picture and to find the closest remedy to it. Each step he made sure I was satisfied and never 'forced' me into a decision. I would and am totally going back to Lucky Nails, and Only with Eric! Bit pricey, removal, full set, design on 4 fingers came out to $45.00; but very worth it! read more

I've been a customer for 7yrs - I've always been extremely happy with my results. Their old location was always bright and clean and friendly. Today was my first visit since their move - not only was it aesthetically gorgeous, but it was also immaculate (not that I would expect anything less). The new salon is trendy, updated and hosts a variety of technology to improve the customer experience. The owners and techs have always been friendly and welcoming, that trait continues in their new place with the added bonus of increased organization with the electronic check in system. I briefly thought about going elsewhere this past weekend while they were closed preparing for the grand opening (poor timing on my part). But, after visiting other salons and/or reading reviews, I couldn't bring myself to receive subpar service. Words cannot express how glad I am that I waited until they were open!! Worst dip nails of my life. I have had 3 years of dip nails and never seen the atrociousness that I had on my nails. I requested ombré nails, and instead of standard dipping technique, my nails were covered 2/3 with white dipping polish painted on with the liquid used in acrylic nails. They were then painted on again with the base color which was sheer. It looks like someone glued white tips on the nail and then my 5 year old slathered on the color on the bottom. The technician bragged that they made dip nails so thin it was like they were natural. What I got was 2.5 millimeter thick nails at the base/middle (they look like they're pregnant) and then paper thin nails at the bottom. So thin, this is day one and 1 nail has already cracked. One sure rule of dipping is you never coat the nail with shellac. It's a sure sign of a salon that does not follow best practices. But that's what I got. Not only that, the shellac clear coat separated and my nails look so lumpy, streaky, that I'm pretty sure my 5 year old could have done a better job. I needed my nails done to go to court for my brother's murder trial, and looking the professional part was important. With that in mind, I requested a refund for my nails (my pedicure was decent so I just requested the dip nails returned) . They denied my request so while I dispute the charge from my bank, I will be sharing my story on every review site. One sure way you can know if a company has integrity is how they treat their customers after they leave. Be sure to avoid this place unless you like wasting your money. They will give you the worst manicure of your life, and keep your money. read more

They did a wonderful job on my nails. I got a basic mani-pedi for $35. Reasonably priced and a job well-done. I gave it 3 stars because of their waxing service. It seems that they started a nail salon and succeeded, then decided to somehow incorporate a waxing service, though they are not equipped for waxing. The waxing area was in a tiny 4'x4' room labeled "Office," and the customer sits in the "Office" chair. The tools were not sanitized and the stick used to apply the wax was reused. The only place I trust to do my nails right. My favorite is Jessi or Ken for my nails. They are masters. Every one else is good too but I am generally prepared to wait or make an appointment with them. I like getting a pedicure and manicure with shellac polish. I sometimes get solar gel tips which are the best. No Wi-Fi. read more

I've been going to Lucky nails for almost six years. I always enjoy my nails after Tiffany is finished. However, as much as I'm going to miss Tiffany, I can no longer justify the wait times. Even with an appointment, you can expect to wait a MINIMUM of 30 minutes. One example of this reoccurring issue occurred today. I had an appointment for a pedicure with Tiffany at 5:15. When I arrived they said it would be quite a bit later before she could get to me. I asked if anyone else could get me in sooner, in which the owner replied yes- about 10 minutes. I've sat here waiting for almost 45 minutes while the owner sits without a client. My pedicure could have been finished by now, but she insists she only does manicures. The work is decent, the waits are loooong. Time is money and I'll be taking my money elsewhere. Updated to say almost an hour after my scheduled appointment, Tiffany is still with her previous client and her appointment that was supposed to be after me is now waiting on her. read more

I have always had above average and excellent service here. One thing I truly appreciate is that the staff do not sit there and converse with each other in their native language during my entire appointment (like so many others do). Other than just a sentence or two, they communicate in English. Lately I have had some longer wait times than usual when I've been a walk-in, but that's okay. That's what making appointments is for. Staff is errogant and stuck up. I came in an hour before close and they wouldn't let me do a manicure, only a pedicure. I have gone in 4 times at this point and it is the same attitude every time, so I'm not basing this off of one experience and one employee. I've never had a bad experience with the customer service and hospality in this salon. All the employees are friendly, interactive, and good company. I, myself have been coming here for 3+ years or so, every two weeks and I wouldn't have it any other way. Kenny, Jesse, and Tiffany are so good at what they do and I always leave happy! I recently went to lucky nails. For the past 2 years I have gone here to get my nails done and the experience will not be going back. I had an appointment for mani/pedi and when I got seated for my pedi there was no water in the bowl. Someone walked by and asked if I was getting one and filled the water bowl for me. A few minutes go by and someone is getting ready to be seated next to me and the put something in wrong in the water bowl and it pops off. Water goes everywhere and I got a mini shower from it as well as my shoes did. Thankfully I wore flip flops. After they clean everything up and gave me a towel to dry off, they apologize and finished my toes and fingers. It seemed to be rushed afterwards when finishing my toes. They did not give any sort of discount. They called me the next day and apologized again but still did not give any sort of discount. I think for getting me and all my stuff wet something should have been done. I will be finding a new nail salon. read more

I rarely get my nails done and when I do, it's a treat. Unfortunately I chose Lucky Nail salon and my nails looked terrible. I don't typically leave bad reviews but when you email them to let them know of the issue and they don't respond or try to resolve the problem, I'll choose negative WOM instead. First of all, my appointment took over an hour and a half - so you'd think my nails would have been beautiful. Instead, they were uneven, crooked, and all over sloppy. They started pulling up after just a week. I sat on my hands for a week or kept them in my pockets because I was embarrassed for them to even be seen. After a week I went to Signature Nails on Republic Road and they fixed them and they look amazing! So if you need a salon, go there - they were wonderful. read more

well here goes, this was the first time I have been to this salon and the last.. the nail tech I had was the worst I have ever had.. she did not pay attention to what she was doing. my girlfriend had the same thing I had only with another tech and he did a great job. my pedicure was rough and the polish I had put on was not completely put on my nails. there was a gap between my polish and the nail bed. the polish was not smooth my nails still had dust on them from the sanding. please do not go to this store you will be disappointed like I am. read more
