My mom really wanted a manicure and pedicure and she told me she had noticed a nail salon on Republic Road. When we pulled up we were happy to see it noted on the door "Walk In's..." since we didn't have an appointment. It was a Saturday but only one nail tech was there. Jessica explained that typically there are 3 or 4 other techs working but they all had taken the day off so she was working by appointment only. My mom uses a walker and she said how disappointed she was about struggling to get in. Just as I was about to tell my mom we would look up a place Jessica acknowledged my mom's situation and said that she could get my mom in for both the manicure and pedicure which she did. My daughter in law had an event to attend. I had not had my nails done in years.We both live in Republic and I had been to Lady nails before years ago and Jessica did a wonderful job. So we called several places in Republic and even went into their facility and they said we can't take any walk-ins even though their door clearly states they take walk-ins. Anyway, I called spoke to Jessica and she said how soon can you be here and I said in 15 minutes because she had other appointments and she said well come on in. So her and her daughter did me and my daughter-in-law's nails in between her appointments. Even doing our nails in between appointments, they were still really quick and efficient. we were very grateful and next time I will know to make an appointment. Jessica has been doing my nails since last year but every time I'm rushed through, leave with polish all over my skin, cuts and uneven nails. The location is close to my house and was convinent so I was hoping things would just eventually improve. My biggest complaint is every time I'm there I'm charged a different amount. There is no consistent pricing and she says she charges more for longer nails. My nails are natural with dip and have been the same length every time I have been in. There are plenty of nails salon options in Springfield that I'm sure could do a far superior job for less money and consistent pricing. read more

Have been going here for years, and used to be the best place in town. All new faces in there now except for one. My last three pedis have been subpar...and this last one was horrendous...no more. Cuticles not cut, remnants of previous gel polish still visible on two toes, she cut my toe, and my 8 year old granddaughter could do a much more professional paint job (didn't even cover the whole toenail!). Sad because this used to be my place of relaxation. I wish the old employees would come back! Looking for a new pedi place! read more

Always love coming here to get my nails and pedi done. My husband comes with me for a couples date day pedicure once a month.

This nail salon has nice people but the quality of the work really isn't worth the price. I have been here twice and both times my nails were completely horrible. My toes nails were uneven, I had nail polish all over the side of my toes, my nails were not smooth, and the nail polish on my toes did not cover my entire nail. I could have done the exact same quality of work in my own home for free. read more

I have been going to Lady Nails for over ten years. I used to have Benny do my nails and I would give him a 10, but since he has left, the quality of the service has gone down hill. I have made appointments with Jessica twice and she has pushed me off to a new lady and her teenaged daughter. My nails are uneven and sloppy and my toes are just as bad. I got a shellac manicure and it was $25. They don't do any spa type stuff for a basic manicure (like warm gloves, nice massage). I did not know this before going in. I guess a tip could of been that a basic manicure was only $12. They just do the basic nail manicure stuff (clip off dead skin, polish and shape nail). After she did my nails then she just rubbed bath & body works lotion on my hands and up my arm. However, she did do a good job of applying my nail polish. Before I moved to another state I always used to go to lady Nails. I never had any issues and enjoyed going. However, I just moved back and went. I was disappointed that they didn't have the color I wanted, but I did find one I liked. My biggest complaint though was the man who did my nails. He spoke zero English, working with the public he should at least speak some or not be in charge of taking people's money or requests. I walked in and asked for a full set, another guy (I believe the owner) told him to do my nails, so he did. Unknowingly though, he gave me shellac, which I didn't ask for. I asked for a simple, full set. Once he was ringing me up, I asked why I was being charged $35 instead of $25 and he just said "$35". Again, if he can't speak the bare minimum he doesn't need to take peoples payments. Of course I called in to complain since he couldn't understand me in the store. The man I spoke with (owner) was very rude, told me I could come in and he would take this off and repaint it and give me $10 back, which wouldn't be worth my gas. Not only that but the man did an awful job. I'll be finding a new salon for sure. Overall bad experience. read more

Horrible experience. Took my little girl to get her nails done at the salon for the first time ever. She was so excited. We waited and waited and they kept doing others nails first even though we had gotten there before them. They were going to others because they were making more money that way. Wouldn't make as much doing a 2 year olds nails. Kept waiting then I said "Do I need to just do them?" The response I got was, "Yes, go ahead and do them. She wouldn't sit still for us anyway. I got gel nail polish, didn't have any previous nail polish on my nails and they charged me $25. My friend got a gel nail polish color change and they charged her $15. We had booked appointments and they were clueless when we came in.
