I was super happy getting acrylic and gel here for about a year. The tech advised me to try dip for longer lasting nails, unfortunately something went wrong and they looked terrible. They were dull, appeared to have scratches all over them on day one, and lifted quicker than acrylic. I went in after a few days to have the dullness fixed and they buffed them, then put a top coat of gel polish. This only made them shiny for about a day, then they looked awful again. Getting your nails done is such a nice self care splurge, but such a bummer to pay for nails that turn out bad. I tried a new salon with my mother in law and I realized just how rushed they are at US nails, they're rough on your nails, I would bleed sometimes and just tell myself "beauty is pain." Overall I think if you're looking for something quick and affordable then this is your spot. But I don't recommend dip from here at least! This place did an amazing job on my feet! I got a walk-in appointment at around 9:30 AM and was immediately seated. My feet were wrecked - I had done a ton of walking a few days before and had some blisters that were healing. She was very gentle on the sensitive areas but did an amazing job taking care of my callouses! The nails I got were thick and short and not even the color I wanted. I picked my color and I noticed she was out when she checked the bottle and the artist just picked up a darker shade of the color I picked without even asking if it was okay. As she was doing my nails she cut me pretty deep on the side of my pinky- enough for me to jump and pull my hand back. She then said "don't move" not oh, I'm sorry I just sliced your finger and you're obviously bleeding. THEN I noticed she was getting ready to paint my nails and they were not even close to the shape I wanted (they were boxy square, like 2003 style and I wanted oval) so I said something and this lady yelled at me so loudly my friend from across the room looked over with her jaw dropped (she said I shouldn't say anything until she's done- she was "obviously" still working) overall bad experience and down environment. Every other place I've gone in Springfield just doesn't leave me as satisfied as US nails. But within like 2-5 min the nail tech that was gonna be doing my nails was right beside me. That seemed a little pushy to me and I felt like I had to choose right then and there so I chose a dark blue with sparkles. I've been trying out nail places in the springfield area for a few years now since i've moved here. This place was just okay. I got their $35 pedi. They had a great selection of pedicure scents to choose from and they did a good job on the paint. My only issues were the water was cold when soaking my feet and after she put a hot towel on my legs left me to sit there for 20 minutes. They don't offer student discounts which made me a little sad because so many other places in the springfield area do. Will probably only go back if I can't seem to get an appointment elsewhere. read more

My main issue with US Nails is they never have enough people staffed. It seems like any time I try to just walk in they are overcapacity. You really have to make an appointment unless you're ok with sitting for 20-30 mins. This isn't just a one off thing, I've come at different days/times, they typically have 3-4 people working even on the weekends. I always walk out happy with my nails but that's if I'm willing to wait or make an appointment ahead of time. I went to get my dip polish removed and chose this place because it was close to where I live. I didn't have a wait, but instead of removing the polish with remover the worker ripped them off using a cuticle tool and an acrylic nail. It was painful and damaging to my nails. To add on to this the price was $10 for the removal instead of the usual $5 at every other nail salon. Will never go back. read more

I travel the country with as a mobile marketing ambassador and just happened to be in town as I drive across the country. I had yet to get my nails done on the road in fear of price and quality. I as I'm sure every female is, particular about how my nails look. US Nails is a great spot to get your nails done at. The manicure is unbelievable, when they are getting ready to trim your cuticles your hands are placed into a baggy, cuticle treatment, and then into an electric glove(similar to an oven mitten). They are quiet precise on how they apply the 25$ shellac(gel polish), getting as close to the edges as possible, and have an abundance of colors to choose from. When going in for a 15$ polish change, I was asked if I needed any nails trimmed and pointed out which ones I thought needed it. I'm not normally one to get polish changes either, but couldn't help myself because the service was nice. The staff is friendly but quiet which is perfectly fine with me. read more
