Absolutely horrible experience and paid $180. I did dip and a pedicure (pedicure was amazing) the dip and nail tech were horrendous. I showed a picture of what I was wanting - color - shape and length. The techs said what color and I said I'm not sure but I really want one close to this color ... he then proceeds to tell me I don't know what color that is and walks off. So I find a color as close to the picture I can find on the samples. When he opens the jar of powder I immediately say that's really pink and not really what I wanted. He ignores me and continues to start dipping my fingers in the powered. I let him get one coat of powder on thinking maybe when he filed it down it will lighten up... so I ask and he said this is what it will look like. I again said that's not what I wanted or chose, he again ignores me and keeps working so I asked if we could put a white of something over it to tone it down a little and his response was no. So I said I do not like this color and asked my niece to go get the sample to make sure I didnt tell him the wrong number and I didn't. I showed him the color and put my current nail to it and it was white compared to the pink he was currently putting on my nails and so I said see this is not the right color and I do want this color. His excuse was those samples are 15 years old. He then said he can put a milky white over it to see if it helps so I just said ok. At this point I was beyond frustrated and ready to go. I also had to ask him to reshape one of my nails as it was nothing like any of the other 9! At the end the color was completely wrong, the dip is lumpy and thicker in areas, and the milky white he put on is different on every nail. One looks more white the one right next to it. Now to my daughter's experience. My daughter (11) getting her nails done since she was 7 wanted french tips this time so she did acrylic ( I do not let her do this often) the nail tech made her bleed under one of her nails and her fingers had red rings at the nail beds where it looked like they filed her skin off! They also left white paint on one of her fingers where she accidentally touched the side when it was still wet. read more

This was the worst pedicure I've ever received. I had come one time before and received very good service but a couple of days ago i came in selected an ombré polish that changes color with the temperature, i noticed that the color was very different from the one i picked and was told it would change with the temperature but it did not , i think the wrong bottle was used. Its not even close , i contacted the link that was sent to me to give my review and received no feedback, at further inspection not only was it the wrong color but poorly done. I have been going to unique nails for 6 years or more . They were my first experience in dip nails. Due to travel or other scheduling issues on rare occurrence I have had to go elsewhere and never am happy with the results. My nails last the longest when I have them done at unique. Not to mention all the compliments I get ! Kyle , Justin, Laura, Bradley and staff are all great and feel like my nail family at this point ha! I have nothing but positives to say. My daughters also go there and we are all happy with our service . They have always had competitive pricing and now offer more colors options than ever. I work in healthcare as a nurse so I have not gotten nails done in a very long time. my first time back in probably 2 years I get basically laughed at because I was unaware of the check in iPad and greeted with a snarky and mocking tone because of that. Then I ended up getting gel paint but with no fake tips just my actual nails! that is not what I wanted. I wanted the fake tips and then gel. I have never been to a single establishment where not everyone knows how to do fake nails. Also their website didn't specify and their response: "you have to know what you want before you come in here or make an appointment" so rude and I wasnt even being a pain I was just asking. anyways never going back! 0 stars-I hope anyone considering going here reconsiders. I went in today to have acrylic removed/gel polish applied ($35). The young man/tech doing my nails wasn't the issue-though he seemed inexperienced-taking awhile to soak/file. I was polite, said thank you many times smiling at him, asking him to correct certain areas regarding inconsistent shape. I asked how long he'd been doing nails-silence. He asked the man to his right questions-they spoke in another language. Not all the acrylic was removed on some of the nails-I asked the tech to please remove it all-I was afraid if any was left it may break/ruin the polish I was about to get which isn't cheap (one of the nail's acrylic already broke-reasonable). The other man said it would make them stronger-to leave whatever was left on-I said could you please remove it all. I know it was to get me done faster. I asked again-which I do with techs doing my nails-how long he'd been doing nails. The other man was irritated-snapping at me 'it's taking too long, I pushed the tech too hard, he doesn't understand what I'm asking for, it was wrong of me to ask how long he'd been doing nails & that he'd been doing them 6 months'-which could be a lie. I said I'd been nice, wanted what I was paying for, I had the right to ask how long he'd been doing nails (I hear people requesting specific techs based on their experience because they do the job they like so this is a normal thing), was I his first time, & it wasn't my fault he didn't understand. He retorted 'it wasn't the tech's fault' & I said I didn't say it was. Now I know the other man heard me ask the first time how long the tech had been doing nails & didn't want to answer. During this rude experience, yet another man walked nearby staring me down-continuing to give me a certain look which I didn't appreciate either as I'M A PAYING CUSTOMER WHO HAS NOT BEEN RUDE, CURSED, OR TREATED ANYONE BADLY NOR LEFT WITHOUT PAYING. This is all while other customers are in the salon. I said we're done & paid the quoted price for acrylic removal only ($10 as the tech stated) without tip & left. I recall having been there a couple times prior in the past year-the other 2 techs were great-& THIS SAME OTHER MAN is always snippy trying to push you to what he recommends-the last time I went he pushed getting a fill instead of just sanding down the acrylic layer I had which would have been more expensive of course. I didn't appreciate getting chewed out/treated poorly when I had done nothing inappropriate. I've heard customers in salons before speak rudely & that was not my behavior. Usually I'm too nice to the point of not getting what I want, so this time I was more particular-if particular is asking for the nails to be the same-not 'too much'. If they want it to go faster then another tech should step in. Just because they wanted to not be thorough doesn't mean I should have to accept it, nor their obnoxious behavior. I regret going here, WILL NOT BE BACK EVER, & I hope the owner/techs see this-I'm sure they will. They may think customers are a dime a dozen, this won't matter & they are justified-they would be mistaken as word of mouth/reviews go far when ladies are looking for a regular salon & there will likely be some ladies that go elsewhere based on this review as I myself have done & appreciate ladies that warn others about this kind of treatment. They wouldn't want to be spoken to like this in front of others. Don't bite the hand that feeds you-fix your customer service skills. I could say nail salons are a dime a dozen-THEY'RE EVERYWHERE. If you treat people poorly you may lose that regular income/referrals forever. Treat your customers well/with respect as they PAY YOU FOR SERVICES YOU PROVIDE, ESPECIALLY when they're not offensive like you. If you cannot do this, then you shouldn't be in business. Of course it can always be worse, but this is ridiculous. SHAME ON YOU. read more

I had a fantastic pedicure, but my SNS gel manicure was a mess. It was my first time getting artificial nails, and it was for my wedding so I had a picture of what I wanted. The first man left after putting on the powder, leaving me with a man who had apparently just been woken up from a nap at the store by the first man. I guess the first man did it so that my design wouldn't work, so the second one tried to fix it with regular polish on top of the gel manicure. They were hurried, made my nails weirdly textured, and didn't seem to listen to my request. Update: minutes after posting this review, I was contacted by the business owner, Kyle, and his wife, Laura. Kyle was the original man working on my nails earlier. He invited me to come in after hours and have my nails fixed. He explained where the confusion between what I wanted and what I got came in, and proceeded to fix the uneven spots and file away the rough edges for me. He added layers of gel for strength so I wouldn't experience more breaking, as well. read more

I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. I get there checkin, and the owner already had a disrespectful attitude. When the owner was "done" with my nails, he asked me to go and sit over at the pedi area. The owner didn't shape my nails and said he will do it after my pedicure. The pedicure was wonderful and the woman did fantastic. After my pedicure was done, they asked me to wait for the owner to file my nails. You want me to wait till you're done with your client when I made an appointment and you decided not to complete my service? That's bullshit. Period. I told the lady too. Poor woman did amazing but I thought it was so disrespectful. I came in for my services and you half assed it to move on to the next. Not to mention, my manicure was the worst manicure I've ever received in my life. I came home and in less that 3 hours I took them off. They were so thick I couldn't even type and they looked awful. The owner tore up my cuticles too. Not only that, the sanitation in this place is very sub-par. I work in a field of work where sanitation is important. If you are providing services to your clients, ensure that proper sanitation is taking in place. Moral of the story, if you want a manicure don't go here. At least don't get one done with the owner. I'm pissed I even had to pay for the worst manicure and the shittiest service I've ever received. No wonder they are having trouble with their business. Step it up y'all! read more

Second time I've been here for the SNS nails. I will never go back to shellac. Kyle does an awesome job. They use a nail drill to cut off cuticles which is cleaner and less messy than cuticle scissors. The staff is funny and engaging. Love this place. read more

Worst Manicure EVER...the guy put my fingertips in cold water, pushed my cuticles back, cut my finger nails to short, painted my nails and then got up and walked away. That was it.
