I showed a picture of what I was wanting - color - shape and length. The techs said what color and I said I'm not sure but I really want one close to this color ... he then proceeds to tell me I don't know what color that is and walks off. So I find a color as close to the picture I can find on the samples. When he opens the jar of powder I immediately say that's really pink and not really what I wanted. He ignores me and continues to start dipping my fingers in the powered. I let him get one coat of powder on thinking maybe when he filed it down it will lighten up... so I ask and he said this is what it will look like. I again said that's not what I wanted or chose, he again ignores me and keeps working so I asked if we could put a white of something over it to tone it down a little and his response was no. So I said I do not like this color and asked my niece to go get the sample to make sure I didnt tell him the wrong number and I didn't. I showed him the color and put my current nail to it and it was white compared to the pink he was currently putting on my nails and so I said see this is not the right color and I do want this color. His excuse was those samples are 15 years old. He then said he can put a milky white over it to see if it helps so I just said ok. At this point I was beyond frustrated and ready to go. I also had to ask him to reshape one of my nails as it was nothing like any of the other 9! At the end the color was completely wrong, the dip is lumpy and thicker in areas, and the milky white he put on is different on every nail. One looks more white the one right next to it. Now to my daughter's experience. My daughter (11) getting her nails done since she was 7 wanted french tips this time so she did acrylic ( I do not let her do this often) the nail tech made her bleed under one of her nails and her fingers had red rings at the nail beds where it looked like they filed her skin off! They also left white paint on one of her fingers where she accidentally touched the side when it was still wet.

You can tell they really care about their clients, not just going through the motions. Anna did my pedicure, and she was incredibly thorough. From start to finish, my manicure and pedicure felt smooth and stress-free. The service overall was excellent, and you can really feel that they take pride in what they do. I'm visiting from out of state, and I have to say--I felt really taken care of here. It's not always easy to find that kind of genuine service. At one appt I asked for my nails to be shaped squoval and she snapped at me that there is no such thing. Excuse me, the posters on the salon wall show squoval as a shape. The final straw was booking an appointment on a Saturday and showing up on time and being told to come back in an hour. I work all week and plan my weekend carefully so this was not acceptable. She could have called and not let me show up just to be told to come back. I don't pay for someone to be rude to me and I won't be back. April needs to get a personality that is not so rude, nail salons are a dime a dozen and some actually make it a pleasant experience.
