The man that did my toes and nails stated rted off fine and not in a rush he was did a good job on my toes. When he started my nails he was very sloppy. In a rush. Did not clean up around the edges at all. Will they last most likely not because the edges are not cleans up and overlap on to my skin! It was a waste of my time and money. read more

My First time to get a powder dip manicure. I didn't know what to expect. I learned later that I paid way over the going price. Their ventilation system was not good. The place reeks of Chemical smells. They seemed rushed and in a big hurry to get you in and out. Clipped my nails short without asking. Seemed a little rough with the filling of my nails...felt like she was filling my finger a couple of times. My nails weren't well shaped when all finished.....thick and unnatural looking. I will probably never go back. The manicure did last...6 weeks and no chips or pealing....just new growth showing. read more

This is an update to a previously good review. I've been visiting Crystal Nails since before my daughter was born (so 4+ years) and always had a relatively good experience. However, this last time was the *last time* I will ever visit them. I've had issues with the "Gel Nails" as it usually falls off after 1 week. I would just be pretty gentle with my nails (no opening soda cans or peeling a sticker off anything...) and they'd last maybe a week and a half. This time they didn't even make it to a week. And after visiting another nail salon 3 weeks earlier and having my gel nails stay on the ENTIRE time without one chip... I realized that Crystal Nails is skipping steps... putting on coats way too thin, and being sloppy. VERY sloppy. It's too bad. I really liked this place but I just can't keep supporting a company who is clearly taking advantage of their customers by cutting corners and doing a bad job. read more

Usually this place is my favorite place ever to get my nails done. I usually have Quan do my nails. But this time he was gone. And the guy just didn't capture the image I had. I brought in a photo for him to look at and still didn't get it right. When I first got there, I was told that the wait was 20 minutes. I waited for 45 minutes to even get to the tech. Then he did my nails and I was honestly just ready to get out. He told me that because I had so much done that it was $55. I've never paid that much ever for nails. I paid and left. When I called back I told the lady that I didn't like them and was asking how much a removal and a new set would be. She said I would have to come in and get them looked at then hung up on me. After going here for years, I'm done. The last 3 times I've been in I've felt rushed. Neither Quan or Van are listening to my requests regarding having my nails rounded not square (they should know this) , I've actually had to scratch Quans arm to show him how rough the edges are. The polish peels or chips off within days. I've always brought in my own designs for them to copy. Over the years I've had many compliments on my nails, & always promoted Crystal Nails. This past week Van couldn't do a simple Fall leaf design and it took her over an hour and 1/2 to complete my manicure.. I guess I should have left her napping on the couch, which is what she was doing when I walked in. The waxing area is disgustingly dirty, I haven't had my brows waxed there in months. I'm sad to see this l salon go down hill so fast, it's easy & convenient to my home, the staff has always been friendly & able to accommodate my my whimsical designs. I have used this nail salon several times. Usually had Ivy. Loved her work. I usually just walked in and I didn't mind waiting but always felt rushed as she would have someone else come in. So then started making appointments. They don't honor them. Came in today (in the middle of the storm) and I was drenched. Not wanting to be late. She told me she was ready for me, then went over and started doing another lady and her daughter. When I ask about it she said "10 minutes". No. That's the reason I made an appointment. If I had the extra 10 minutes I wouldn't have made the appointment. This is about the third time this had happened but it will be the last. I won't go back. I use to recommend this salon. No more. There are too many nail salons. I have worked by appointment my entire career and always honored "their time". Don't go unless you have unlimited time. read more

This place has went down hill over the last few months. I have been several times. At first, service was fine, but lately it has been terrible. My last two times there, customers were complaining about quality or wait time. I've also noticed my shellac chips after about 4 days! I needed to be done by 5 and made that known when I made my appt for 330. They seated me quickly and did my pedi. During that time, one of the workers was asleep in a pedi chair. A group of "regulars" came in and asked if they could get worked in. I had to wait over an hour and a half and ended up leaving without the manicure because they bumped me. Poor customer service! Quan said I should have told them I needed to be done by 5....I DID! I told them when I made the appt, when I sat down and a third time when the pedi was done. First time here with my wife. Staff seems very courteous and friendly. Acetone levels in the air are high or maybe I'm high now I don't know, I can't breathe and the Asian lady keeps looking my way. She is probably checking my cuticles with her hawk like eyes. Thankfully she can't see my toe nails. They are rough when getting acrylics. 25 bucks for a fill 30 if changing colors. Nice people but honestly guys they are rough when doing acrylics and if they made me bleed they probably do other people too and they do not clean those drills after each person. I've waited a few days after my experience to cool off a bit before I sounded off about my recent venture to Crystal Nails in Ozark. First, I called one week in advance to make an appointment for two people to get a manicure and pedicure each. At the same time. The owner told me over the phone that it would be fine and it would cost me $35 for each person. I called the day before my appointment to make sure I still had reservations for two people to each get a manicure and a pedicure. He assured me everything was fine and we were good to go. My mother (whom had never gotten a mani or pedicure before, I thought it'd finally be a nice treat for her!) had no idea how salons worked or what to expect. The ladies doing our pedicure were very nice if not overly chatty to each other at times. However, the lady doing my mother's nails not only asked her why her skin looked so bad (I'll tell you it's a touchy subject because it's from radiation from when she underwent cancer treatments) but then asked my mother if she wanted the basic or deluxe. No explanation about any of it. My mother responded with "oh just the basic, please." No one asked me anything at all. In fact not once did the lady doing my feet say one single word to me. Also, I will mention here that there was not a "deluxe" or "basic" option on the website or the pricing chart on the wall. We get our feet finished and they placed us in the drying booth. We waited while walk ins went ahead of us to get their fingernails done. Finally once we realized we were not in line for our mani we piped up and asked nicely if we could get that done too. Here in lies our miserable time. The some-what inconsdierate lady from before yelled across the salon at my mother. She said "I ASKED YOU AND YOU SAID NO!". My mother embarrassingly replied with "oh, I guess I didn't understand you". Which got a collective scoff from the crew working. After that we were not treated with respect, in fact we felt like a nuisance. We did feel rushed and like they just wanted to get rid of us. I know everyone was working hard there, but please at least be nice to the customers! I did everything in my power to make sure my reservations were in order. Why take down reservations if you're not going to use them? Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I will find a nicer place to attend next time. read more
