Food is amazing, been loving this local business for a long time so happy to see them growing, you can see the love and passion they have for what they do and for their community! Everyone involved in bringing this place to the city of wildomar should be proud of themselves, service has always been great when I go, truly feels like a true community spot! Montague brothers and partners you have outdone yourselves! The attention to detail in bringing quality ingredients and doing things with excellence does not go unnoticed. Praying for this business to continue to thrive :) read more

Me and my friend recently tried this place. My friend came all the way from San Diego to try it- and we were not disappointed whatsoever! The burgers were amazing and tots were the cherry on top. I was concerned that the single size tots would not be enough- but it was the perfect amount. The meal kept me with the a full belly all day. I already have a line of people wanting to try this place with me- so I'll gladly be coming back. The place was very cute and I appreciate all the live music- makes the place lively. Thank you Corner Post for your wonderful hospitality read more

Food A+ Service A+ Supporting a small family business done right A++ The Corner Post offers a simple menu done right. Burgers, tots and shakes served the old fashioned way with your choice of dipping sauce for your tots. Don't let the line out the door scare you, it moves quickly and there are several tables and counter space inside plus table sitting outside on the patio. read more

Loved the food and service and vibe! You can tell the burger is fresh and high-quality meat because it has a slightly gaminess taste to it. That's what you want. I have seen a few negative reviews about the meat flavor....Too many people are used to fake, chemical-filled food and don't understand what good meat is supposed to taste like. The tots are AMAZING as well. The vanilla milkshake was very very good in flavor. The service, just like Montague's, was top-notch. I have two pieces of critique. 1. I do agree with some comments about the buns being too big. I know they're made fresh daily by a local bakery and the flavor is terrific but it's just too thick in my opinion. 2. The milkshake was very very good; however, it wasn't cold enough. It was like drinking a cold glass of milk instead of an ice cream shake. I think this happened because the milk or ice cream gets defrosted a bit as they're making a few in a row. I know it's still early on in their journey too so they'll figure it out I love this place and will be a regular! read more

The Corner Post! Holy moly, this place did not disappoint. And of course, the reason why: the owners. They are the best kind of people: kind, serving, loving, and skilled! Raphael and Nichole are my favorite small business owners (and my first bosses when I had my first job at Montague) They hired a great team, and they certainly know what they're doing. Zero surprises there. I got the Cattleman Double, and my wife got the regular Cattleman. Both were so buttery, juicy, and piping hot! They serve burgers with perfect homemade taste and care. Obviously, I can't leave out that the burgers are grass-fed and everything is cooked in tallow, including the tots, which were criminally crispy! If you order the family-size tots, expect to have potatoes for the entire year lol! They do not slack on their portions! We also got a vanilla shake, which we were happy to notice is made with Tillamook ice cream. No wonder it's so dang good! And I can't leave out the lemonade. They're literally squeezing the lemons right in front of your eyes! Overall, everything tasted perfect. Zero complaints. And of course, it had that classic Montague Brothers decor. You guys are going to do well! God bless you guys! read more

I was fortunate to truly this out today. I tried the following BUCKING BRONCO...$15 House seasoned patty on a toasted brioche bun with white cheddar, bacon, lettuce and creamy cowboy candy spread 1959 burger with Swiss cheese added...$10 Patty on a toasted brioche bun With cheese +$1 Your classic burger for anyone especially the kids. The Swiss changes it up a bit. The patty was cooked perfectly. You can upgrade your burger ADD BACON $2.50 MAKE IT A DOUBLE FOR $4 BURGER BOWL 2.95 Tots - cooked in beef tallow single size $ 5 family size $ 13 Fried in beef tallow and seasoned with our housemade spice blend My favorite item!!!!!! A great little snack to share. Vanilla milkshake - $9.50 super thick and creamy tillamook ice cream Fresh brewed ice tea $4.50 Spot on flavor Hand-shaken Lemonade $4.50 The location is cozy and warm, with a really relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to hang out for a while. The menu is small and not overwhelming, which I actually appreciate. The burgers are tasty and the bucking bronco, The tots are by far my favorite item. They're crispy, seasoned to perfection, and perfect for just nibbling on while you hang out and enjoy the space. It's the kind of place where you don't feel rushed, you can grab something to eat, have a drink, and just enjoy the company and atmosphere. Sometimes a smaller menu done well is better than having a hundred things to choose from, and this place gets that right. I'd definitely come back, even if it was just for the tots and the vibe. read more

New place in Wildomar great burgers you can actually taste that it is very well-made!! decent grade burger, The meat Some people say that there's no flavor, but you can actually taste the meat.. which is signs of a really good burger. They also have tater tots and they're actually really good. didn't try anything else had the cowboy burger and the outlaw burger I believe is what they were called. Both were delicious and the cowboy candy sauce I think it was and the aïoli was delicious. I met the owner. She was very sweet. Was asking a couple next to me if they like spicy and I was just joking around said I like spicy too, and I introduce myself and we talked a little bit very friendly. The ambience is very cool inside so far so good guys!! nice to have a farm table burger place, not too far from the house... read more

They keep it simple here and you just can't go wrong with burgers and tots! The staff were busy accommodating the constant line out the door and patrons continued to get in line even as they closed having to just order shakes and drinks only since the kitchen closed. There's patio seating outside the diner. Dining area inside is a decent size surrounding the register. I had the outlaw burger in a bowl and the bowl had tots on the bottom half filled. Not much lettuce when I assumed I'd get more to substitute the bun but I was wrong. The chocolate shake was smooth and very creamy, it tasted like chocolate pudding. A water dispenser off to the corner of the serving counter along with utensils. Great spot to keep it simple!! read more

For a quiet soft opening for an extremely anticipated spot they handled themselves so well! The team didn't seemed to be rattled with the masses. We ordered 3 different types of burgers and all were amazing. Love the tots. My toddler had no complaints and ate all his food. Though they are small there is seating inside and quiet a bit of seating outside. And is connected to the coffee shop patio. They had great music playing, friendly staff, and always the family is awesome. Love our little town and supporting our local businesses. read more

Sophia was absolutely amazing! I was ordering for a family of 10 and was feeling a little indecisive, but she was so patient and gracious in answering all of my questions. On top of that, I had all of my kids with me, so there were plenty of interruptions and chaos happening in the background, and she remained incredibly kind, patient, and efficient throughout the entire experience. She made the whole process so much easier, and I truly appreciated her wonderful customer service. Thank you, Sophia! We also got one of almost everything The hand shaken lemonade Chocolate milkshake The outlaw burger The cattleman burger 1959 burger Box of tots The cowboy candy sauce (obsessed with) Everything was an absolute 10/10! Finally a quality burger shop in Wildomar! Excellent ingredients, a ¼-pound grass-fed burger patty that's a solid 10/10, and the tallow tots? Also 10/10. Honestly, I expected it to be more expensive and was pleasantly surprised by the price. It's right on par with other burger places except the food is significantly better. You can see and feel the thought, detail, and love poured into every inch of this place. If you're looking for fast, cheap, lab-grown mystery meat...this probably isn't the place for you. read more

Let me start by saying that their customer service is wonderful! From the moment you step inside they make you feel welcomed and just gives you that home family feel. Super unique little place with nice decor touches and outdoor seating as well. And although they were super busy everyone had smiles and food didn't take long at all. Literally EVERYTHING we had was AMAZING!! Their tater tots are PURE PERFECTION and don't get me started on their burgers! We had the Bucking Bronco with their very refreshing lemonade and loved their sqeet spicy sauce great for dipping the tots in too We will definitely be coming back to try their milkshakes next! read more

We ordered the Cattleman and Outlaw burgers. Unfortunately, both lacked seasoning, and as others have mentioned, the patties are pretty small for the price. The tater tots, however, were delicious and well seasoned, and the lemonade was refreshing and not overly sweet. We also ordered a vanilla milkshake, but we both thought it had an unusual flavor. We later noticed on their Instagram bio that it's actually a bourbon vanilla milkshake, which wasn't disclosed on the menu. I think that's something that should definitely be mentioned, especially for anyone expecting a traditional vanilla shake. Overall, there were a few things we enjoyed, but the burgers were underwhelming for the price. read more

We decided to try the corner post last night for dinner and we are so glad we did! We ordered a vanilla milkshake which was absolutely delicious. Also ordered 4 burgers and the family sized tots. We ordered two cattleman burgers, a bucking bronco and one customized burger. Tried the cowboy candy dipping sauce with the tots and it was delicious. Burgers were really nice size and you can tell really good quality meat and buns etc. The guy at the register was extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very family oriented and plenty of seating inside and out. Parking across the street in dirt lot probably best but if you don't want to drive in the dirt there is a small parking lot that's paved by the Montague coffee shop next door ( same owners) or you can park in the parking lot just past montague brothers coffee shop and walk. read more

First visit here after the transformation from Mexican food to American burgers. My Cattleman burger was well prepared and tasted as good as a $9 burger should, except it wasn't $9, but $13. The fresh lemonade really hit the right spot and would see me back just for another one. The menu needs some enlargement, but I assume that will come as the restaurant matures. Four gooey, dripping stars for The Corner post. read more

Wanted to love this place sooo bad! First and foremost the staff is amazing! Tots top notch! The cowboy candy sauce is yummy! Now let's get to the burgers.. we ordered two 1959 with cheese both burgers super dry ordered one with bacon it had ONE slice of bacon! So my boys were disappointed and ended up pushing burgers aside. My husband got the bucking bronco like I said the cowboy sauce yummy but the rest of the burger dry the bread just dry! I got the outlaw no mushrooms was really excited for this burger because it had caramelized onions and aïoli well it lacked an aïoli so I ended up adding mayo, but there was no caramelized onions!!! None!! I will insert a picture. I was super sad! Again it was dry. The patties just lacked and we definitely were disappointed. Maybe an off day but overall main entry was not shining for us! read more

The Corner Post was amazing! The service was exceptional, and you can truly tell the food is made with quality ingredients. This is a family owned business, and you can feel how much love and care has gone into creating this place. The Montagues are some of the hardest working people and genuinely care about their community. They are always finding ways to give back, which makes supporting their business even more special I ordered the Cattleman, tots, and the vanilla bourbon milkshake, and everything was SO good. It did not disappoint! We will definitely be back!!! read more

We knew it would be good as the owners of Montague Brothers opened up this spot, but they blew me out of the water! Tallow tots, grass fed burgers, yummy milkshakes and homemade lemonade! It's so refreshing to walk into a restaurant and know what you're feeding your family is high quality ingredients. Everything was YUMMY too! Dipping sauces? Cherry on top! Vibes and ambiance were top notch, such a well designed place and just a fun place to be. I hope they thrive! Never want this place to leave! read more

Absolutely pumped to try out Corner Post. I love that their menu is small. Burgers, burger, bowls, Tots, shakes, lemonade and its all good. We had the bucking bronco and the cattle man burgers, as you can see from my photos the patties are massive 1/4 lb burgers on brioche buns. Also their house made sauce and special blended coffee infused seasoning is next level. read more

Such a cute shop. We went in for lunch at 1 and the service was great. I've worked in restaurants for years and was so pleasantly suprised with how well this newly opened store ran. Our food was ready fast! The tots were the perfect crisp you want in a tot. We tried the ranch and the garlic aioli for dipping and both were tasty. Will return! read more

The food was 6-10. Tater tots were great. The burgers were a little underwhelming. Needed more seasoning. Patties are thin and a little dry. Need more fat in it for flavor. Buns are good. I was charged for cheese and never got it. I know it's a new place and they have to find a rhythm. Service was friendly and they are young. I know they can turn things around. The owners are staple in our community and love to support small businesses. Will try again in a few weeks. read more

I went for lunch with my family today, we all loved our burgers and tots! We shared the milkshakes... it was probably the best vanilla milkshake I've had in a long time. The tater tots were fantastic, and we got lots of tots in the family order. Our food came out quite fast too! People need to remember this is a new establishment. The owners and staff are accommodating! And the lines are long, but worth it read more

I knew it by just looking at the pictures but I had to go find out for myself. And dry flat horrible tasting meat.. very bland tasting too much bun and honestly I think it's just a trendy place it was so odd that every single person in the lines looked exactly the same they were all about 25 to 35 ishold with those random tattoos all over that it looked like an Instagram meeting LOL either way it just was not very good I was really hoping this would be a good little spot but I should stick to coffee I bet this place tanks quick after the hype is gone they need to change their burger style and maybe do like a smashburger.. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy it's horrible read more

I stopped about 215pm on this beautiful Friday and ordered 4 burgers, family tots and a chocolate milkshake. Not sure if today it was a miss but my patty had no flavor whatsoever. What a great addition to Wildomar. We were so excited to try this place and it did not disappoint. The service and ambiance as usual with the Montague family was perfect. The Cattleman burger is fantastic. Has that classic burger taste with fresh veggies and dill. The tots and sauces are a great pairing to the burgers and perfectly seasoned. I was shocked at how large the portions were. I'm normally a double patty person but a single will be plenty for next time. We couldn't even finish our tots. The shakes speak for themselves. Real ice cream is so noticeably better. The line was out the door but we were seated and eating within ten minutes of arriving. Overall it is just a great restaurant. Hand down, the best burger and tots in the valley. So happy to make this our new regular lunch spot. We tried three different burgers, tots, both shakes, and the tea & lemonade. Everything we tried was delicious. The menu is creative while still giving you the classic flavors you want in a delicious burger. The tots alone would have me coming back. Overall this place is awesome I love the atmosphere and the look. The service was good they were super busy and we still got our food really fast. The tater tots were really good they were crunchy and seasoned great. We also got the cowboy sauce with them and it was amazing. I got a buckin-bronco burger and it was really good but, for some reason, me and my mom both tasted a fishy flavor on the patty. I'm so happy that they fixed up the building and made it into something. The patio is also really cool looking but it was rainy the day we went so we couldn't use it. The only concern was the fishy flavor on the patty but we're going to come back again for sure. read more

Don't let the line or parking across the street fool you. 10000% worth the stop. I came in and waited in line for about 10-15 minutes and then from order to handing my food was about 10 minutes. The burger (The Outlaw) I added an extra patty and it is hands down one of the most delicious burgers I've had in a while. Perfectly done, not falling apart, the bun is perfect.
