I don't review much so when I do I have something to say. I came after looking at the reviews and I have to question them. First, make sure you have plenty of cash because they don't take credit cards and it's relatively expensive. The food was good but not THAT good as I would go out of my way for it again. I got the Stuffed French Toast Trio but received only two French toasts with a "Tres Leche" substitute which was good but not what I wanted. They no longer have the third stuffed French toast. It would have been nice if they notified me first and gave me a choice. Sausage and bacon( very smoky) sides were tasty but not worth it You get one patty and a few little pieces of bacon for $4.50 each. Service was kind of abrupt and not the friendliest. it was extremely loud inside. It reminded me of being in an elementary school lunch room. Quirky decor...but it felt put on and fake. Taking a star away. Sadly. We really like this place a today we made a special trip, we noticed what we thought was a one time thing but we saw it again. They are busy, and we get that and we know that things will come I time. Nice breakfast spot in downtown Milford. I liked that they had items from different types of cuisines that you would not expect. I decided to try the empanada. I thought the flavor was good was juicy, maybe could use a little more meat. The home fries could use a little more flavor. Pancakes I thought were nice and light had a decent amount of fluff to it. A small gem with a unique take on brunch. The intrigue of their "famous" duck dish initially drew my curiosity, but the rest of the menu confirmed it as a must on my brunch list. It is a small place with dining inside and a couple tables just outside. They do not take reservations, so just be aware that it is first come, first served. I think we got a bit lucky. We there in early April on a Saturday around 10 AM. We did not have to wait and were able to get a table inside. I was thankful because was still a bit chill outside at that time. I knew the duck dish had to be one of our orders. The second was harder to narrow down. As you can see from my photos, it was the hash that won out! Both were creative works of deliciousness. The bacon wrapping around the duck was very impressive. It was just a slice or two wrapped around a wrap. The entire wrap was constructed of bacon. I say constructed because it had purpose, held its shape, and functioned as a wrap not a loose covering. The hash had a delicate beauty but a flavorful, fulfilling composition. Everything came out surprisingly quick and our server was very kind to boot. Great experience all around. I cannot wait to come back to tick a couple more off the menu! My boyfriend has ordered their Cuban Pork Breakfast Tacos and the Pulled Duck Burrito. He especially loved the burrito because it's wrapped in bacon and is served with the most delicious home fries. I heard about this spot from my brother who lives around the corner. Turns out it was on TV too! There were so many options to choose from. We started with the avocado toast which was on an Italian bread instead of actual toast. The topping was very tasty! I got the French bread with spinach & feta...it was outrageous!
