When we first went here the corned beef was great just like homemade juicy and falling apart. The sandwich was huge and the beef and cabbage bowl a delight to eat. But now their corned beef has changed its paper thin and pressed meat. Sure you still get a huge sandwich but not what it was in the beginning. If you look at the menu picture of the corned beef and cabbage bowl that's what it was but now the paper thin pressed corned beef is what you get..The quality of the meat isn't there anymore, we will go somewhere else where it's real brisket corned beef. read more

The name of this place immediately intrigued me! We ordered online, I tried to call and the recording told me to order online, and that was fast and very easy. I immediately got an email telling me I would get a confirmation to the phone number I provided when order is ready. Similar to tracking a package, you are alerted when it's ready. We tried several different sandwiches. There are less than ten to choose from. All were a hit. The Jerk had people talking, spicy! The sandwiches are piled high with meat and a slice of Swiss cheese. Comes boxed lunch style. Bag of Lays chips and some dill pickles on the side. I had the Original Rueben style. It was very good. 3/5 of us saved half a sandwich for the next day. I tried this place because there were a lot of positive reviews. I gave this place 3 stars because the corned beef sandwich was ok and an ok lunch or light dinner sandwich. But it was nothing spectacular, just a sandwich, you can go to a grocery deli , buy the corned beef and make your own sandwich as good as or better. I ordered jerk corned beef, the jerk sauce was on the bread, not added into the corned beef as I thought it would be. Per instructions, you have to order online for takeout. I ordered online and waited, and waited, and waited for a text, email or call that my order was ready for pickup. I finally went on to pick up my order, the person behind the counter was nice enough, he asked me if this was my first time coming, I said yes, he started to explain how to order, I informed him that I was picking up an online order of which he was not aware of, but a lady was sitting nearby on her phone, heard the conversation and informed him that the order was sitting on the counter. She told me that there system was experiencing a glitch and she couldn't let me know that my order was ready. My order was the only order on the counter, she had a cell phone in her hand, I was instructed to leave my phone # when placing the order , so she had my phone #, she could have called me. My order included chicken and a soda, the soda was already warming. From my quick observation, the restaurant did look clean. The chicken was not that good and half of it was thrown out. Would I go back? Maybe if I was really busy, and needed something to eat quickly as the place is near home and work. But, it would be an absolute last choice. read more
