We've been longing for a charming breakfast spot in downtown Chaska that's conveniently walkable. I was thrilled to hear that The Copperfiled was moving in, and it's a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The restaurant exudes a modern yet timeless ambiance, creating a visually appealing atmosphere. The coffee was simply delightful. I opted for a vanilla latte, while my husband chose the cappuccino, which was predictably standard. They offer a variety of milk options for their coffee drinks, including whole, 2%, and oat milk. Our server, Kate, was incredibly sweet and attentive. It was wonderful to see employees from The Crooked Pint returning to this new location. For breakfast, we chose the scrambler, while I had the short stack of pancakes. They were delicious. They may be short, but they're wide and substantial, making them a satisfying choice. My husband is a curling member so we get a 10% off discount which we really appreciate. Overall, we had a great experience at The Copperfiled. It's a great addition to downtown Chaska, and we're excited to continue exploring their menu and atmosphere.

The lunch menu made it hard to decide what to order.

The very large parking lot was full due to a Soccer Camp at Fireman's Park, but we found a parking place in a public lot about a block south. The vibe inside was sweet; many curling fans and many just having a good Saturday lunch experience. The acoustics were great and we were able to carry on conversations in spite of how busy it was. Our waitress referred to us as "my friends" throughout the experience and was cheerful and efficient. We did have to send the check back because it was split incorrectly but she corrected it cheerfully and quickly. The food was delicious; we enjoyed the Blackened Beef Tips as our starter. They were happy to split the Salmon Salad for us and to provide a side of Ranch dressing for my wife.

Was here after they just opened, sat out on the porch. Because, well, it's Minnesota and you never know how long we can do that. It's a very nice view - kinda wish they had a TV out there; the World Cup was on. It would also be a great place to watch some Vikings football (HINT HINT). Service was ok. A little slow for drink service, and follow-up for not being busy. But maybe cause they were still getting their feet wet. I meant to take a picture of my food. I ordered the Carolina Rancher burger, and as you can see, it was so good I didn't want to stop eating to take a picture. Definitely worth it! Of course I will come back. I hope they think about those TVs outside - GAME DAY IS COMING - but even then, the food is worth coming back for too!

We just had a beer on the patio. Lovely setting and the service was great. Would like to try their breakfast soon.

Every time I leave Crooked Pint, I just end up feeling... unsatisfied. It's not bad, but the food always seems to be missing that extra kick of flavor. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Mad Pepper Juicy Lucy, expecting something spicy but instead, it was completely mild and kind of bland. To make matters worse, the service was pretty slow and our server didn't seem very attentive. If you're just looking to grab a drink and maybe an appetizer during happy hour, it's fine for that. But if you're after a meal that really hits the spot, I'd say there are better options nearby.

They also have a wedding venue and curling arena attached so it is pretty busy every time but I have never waited more than 10 minutes for a table. Food: I got the loaded tater tots as an appetizer. I would say 4/5 for those, they were good I wish there was more bacon but the tot was stuffed with green onion and cheese then it came with queso and bacon on top. I would get them again. As my meal I got the lobster melt and it wasn't my favorite it didn't have as much cheese as I would want and felt like it lacked flavor. I think it would have been better with onions or like a sauce to dip it in. Service: it was a packed Saturday night but our server was attentive and very nice!

I think it was perfect during happy hour and then could turn off when the dancing started. Food: The jerk chicken egg rolls were huge and had great flavor. Also enjoyed the little sliders. The meat on the skewers was a super weird texture like almost a mushy bite maybe it was like a vegan meat I wasn't sure. The service at the bar was a bit slow at times there was two back there but the staff worked really hard at the end as the party went late and the staff was awesome cleaning up around us til the last minute so thanks for that!!! I liked the rum punch I had and the back space looked small but still fit a Photo Booth, the food table and dj table

We went back today and while it was still good, definitely wasn't as good as it was last time. The jerk chicken plate removed the beans, changed the rice, and got rid of the sauce so it wasn't as good though it was a bit less dry than last time. They also removed the Ropa Vieja from the menu which was our favorite. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and was not impressed. The fries with it were good. The drinks were still great. Service was friendly but slow (drinks, food, and waitress all slow). Another in our party got the blackened salmon which was really good. Unfortunately, I was so nervous they would remove or change the menu to be worse, which is a common theme I've noticed with 4 different restaurants by these owners now, so I was so bummed to see that's exactly what happened. Such a cool vibe, great drinks, and a really cool new patio - but the food needs a bit of work - bring back the Ropa Vieja and the better jerk chicken!

So don't go in expecting that. However, they still hit the spot! I was a big big fan of the brisket taco. Juicy, flavorful, and filling! All the tacos come with a pretty substantial amount of protein. They have a lunch special where you buy 2 tacos and get your third one free, so my meal came out to be pretty affordable. Our server was great, I think his name was Miles? The restaurant itself was cute, with nice barstools and booths. I will say that when we went, the floor a few pools of liquid with caution signs up. Not sure if there was a leak or some spills, but nonetheless it didn't affect the ambiance too much. I heard they do an ice bar in the winter, so I'm looking forward to returning.

The restaurant has a…read morenice, spacious free parking lot, and the service was quick, friendly, and efficient from start to finish. We started with the Texas Twinkie, and it was the standout of the meal. It's basically a jalapeño popper stuffed with brisket and topped with a sweet agave chili glaze that gives it a delicious sweet and spicy kick. I personally would have preferred a little less glaze, but it was still incredibly flavorful, and I'm honestly still thinking about it. Even though they're known as a tequila bar, don't sleep on the mocktails! I ordered the Hibiscus Cooler, and it was light, refreshing, and the perfect pairing for the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the mojo pork tacos. They were good, but I ended up adding some extra habanero hot sauce to give them more of a kick. I also appreciated that they have several hot sauce options available, including Cry Baby Craig's, Cholula, and habanero sauce. We couldn't decide between the brisket mac and cheese or the elote, so we ordered both to share. The elote had a strong lime flavor that overpowered it a bit for my taste. The brisket mac and cheese, however, was delicious. It could have used just a little more seasoning in our opinion, but it was loaded with generous portions of tender brisket and had the most satisfying cheese pull. My husband also really enjoyed his birria tacos. Overall, this was a great impromptu date night. Good food, refreshing drinks, excellent service, and plenty of parking. We'll definitely be back and next time, those Texas Twinkies are a must order!
